I followed my hair stylist, Holly here. I love the salon. But more importantly Holly is the best!

Melissa is amazing! She gave me a new hairstyle and the entire rest of my day I got numerous compliments on how young I look. She really made my week)

Made an appointment in advance for a trim.
She seemed confused that I just wanted a trim to fix my bangs and bulk when I came in.
She said okay, let's go get you shampooed and rinsed.
I have never been able to use shampoos due to sensory and sensitivity issues at salons so I asked if we could skip the shampoo and just do a rinse.
She was shocked and started arguing with me. She showed me the catalogue for the shampoo saying it was made with natural ingredients.
I said that's great I believe you but I prefer not having product in my hair from salons. I just need a rinse and a trim.
She then said she's not the right stylist for me and she didn't want to touch my dirty hair.
Then she said she only does old lady's hair. I will never go back and very disappointed I wasted my time going here. I never had this issue at other places asking to skip the shampoo. I felt very judged the second I walked in. My hair is NOT dirty and unmanageable. This was a horrible experience.

Melissa is INCREDIBLE. Crazy skilled, wicked product knowledge, and an absolute colour wizard. If that wasn’t enough, her bubbly personality and kindness make her a treasure to be around and it’s always a pleasure sitting in her chair.
If I ever move away, I will undoubtedly fly back to Kelowna just to see Melissa, because I know no one else could do the job as well as she does! 10/10 recommend

Our daughter‘s wedding party had Blown Away Hair do our styles. Make up was done by Hafsa and Sarah Swain. Melissa‘s team was amazing for us, we had so much fun and loved our different hairdos, the make up was gorgeous. Melissa and was flexible if we had requests or changes that we wanted. Totally professional and had many suggestions and ideas available for us.

I am always super happy with my hair and the vibe of the salon is exclusive and positive. Melissa gives the best scalp massage EVER!

I've been coming here before the new name and owner. My hair is really hard to cut being so thick.which I've been told by who knows how many hairdressers through the years. I've lived all over the world and been to hundreds of hairdressers easy.
