I wish i could give 0 stars. I went to their location today they were two girls name SHRUTI and DAMINI both of them were extremely rude, unprofessional and not helpful at all. When asked for instructions to renew my passport they said it’s not their job to give instructions. Someone please ask them if they can’t help people why are they even working there? And if you hate your job that much just quit. I even heard those girls abusing someone which is way out of line. Only thing i want to request to BLS is that to please investigate on this matter and should take immediate action about it on these girls. They were lacking basic etiquette and manners even the people who were already there came to me and told me that those girls were extremely rude with them. This is what everyone thinks of your employees. I will also make sure to complaint this to higher authorities to investigate on this matter.

Went there for application of passport. Extremely helpful staff. Process was quick. Everything was explained really well. Staff went out of way to help on queries. Special mention for Damini and also the counter staff who helped me. Keep it up!

I paid in cash still got charged for debit fees.
Its not much and not about money but its about transparency.
Try to reach out to them over phone but they don't answer.
No response on complaining online.
So now planning to file complaint to the Canada consumer affairs.

Had a very positive experience. Went walk in. Was given a token and asked to come back at a particular time which I did. Gurneet attended to me around the given time and was very quick but thorough with her work. Had a seamless experience and was out in no time.

The call centre is not client friendly. Instead of saying that these guys are closed for lunch (whatever the mid day break is), it keeps repeating to write to them on every single option it gives you (I just tried). Maybe you need to fix this and make it more user friendly.

Went to pick-up my pp, the guy who helped me was great, we done in a minute. But the lady who in the office deserves 0 stars; impatient and rude way of speaking. Tbh, learning some etiquette rules & social manners before going on duty. Disagreeable & unprofessional employee can easily tarnish the reputation.

Worst customer service. We Indians can’t give good customer service anywhere in the world. I needed my passport for PR and a work permit ASAP. But these dumb heads kept my passport for two weeks for no reason. I called several times, but I got no help from BLS. When I asked for a supervisor, They did not connect me to the supervisor, And where in the world does the courier service charge $150 for just a passport?
Stop scamming people.

Most ridiculous booking system. Slots are never available or show up for literally seconds. The evisa would have been perfect but as usual India likes to make it a long annoying process to get anything done.

I went to Vancouver office at 10 AM and the lady security wouldn't allow me in and wouldn't give any reason for that. She was very hostile and ill-tempered. Those who are responsible for training BLS Vancouver staff should not be doing that job.
I was later told that:
people are coming at 5 AM and wait till 8 AM for entry, only
certain number of people are served a day, and the rest will be denied entry.
If there is such a huge rush and long wait in this winter, why can't BLS Vancouver reintroduce the appointment system and hire more staff.
All over the world every service is improving, customers are treated with respect, and things are becoming nice & easy.
BLS Vancouver is making things harder and the office exemplifies incompetence. I wish I could give 0 star.

I would give negative review if that was the option. Most incompetent, unorganized, good for nothing, rude, useless and expensive agency. Their agents don’t know what to, read from templates rather than finding issues and troubleshoot. Agent lie then lie again. It’s hard to get to a real person, they hang up phone and never follow.

How they carry on the contract it baffles me. Very disappointed and frustrated with BLS Canada and it’s useless services.

Very bad service from BLS. All the customer care staff always lying. My wife passport was ready for collection. I pay for courier service at least 10 days ago.and still not despatch from Surrey Center. Still shows in tracking site ready for collection. I call three times and every time they say it will despatch in 1-2 hours.when I pay for courier service they say it’s take maximum 72 hours. Now it’s 10 days already.very disappointed from customer service. They know we don’t have any other option that’s why they are taking advantage. Even I don’t want to give them a one star rating also. A very unfortunate experience, went there thrice and was asked to go to Surrey because they were out of walk-in slips, came to Surrey BLS the guard says can’t do anything we won’t accept applications after 9am although the window of application acceptance is 8am - 1pm (indicated on the door) like great service acting on behalf of Indian passport authority I thought BLS was contracted for reliability and welcoming environment seems it’s unlike that. Great presentation of how helpful the service is I don’t even feel like turning back and coming to BLS hope

I had applied for passport renewal on July 20, and finally after delay I was suppose to receive it. BUT you guys collected $30 as compulsory delivery charges and that also with USELESS PUROLATOR, who are famous for losing the parcel. Inspite of written delivery instructions they message I missed delivery. I had no intention of paying courier charges but you guys should stop harassing people for paying extra charges. We can collect in person. I am really disappointed with delivery. HOW can BLS put rubbish company line Purolator as delivery partner!

Despite heading to the center as a walk-in, I did not have to wait long to be seen by the agent (Gurneet). She was polite and incredibly courteous and processed my application efficiently.

Amazing staff, very helpful and understanding.
Went to Vancouver BLS International office for passport renewal as walk-in without an appointment in the morning. After getting the token, the security person was very helpful and set the right expectation for when my turn will come. But I got a little delayed in coming back and missed my slot. Still the lady in the office was understanding and accepted my application even after their working hours were over.

Smooth service at the BLS Vancouver branch. Those turning up with an appointment confirmation are given first preference. I was attended by Damini Rawal and she was quick in processing my documents. Overall a positive and a glitch-free experience.

I am trying to book an appointment. There is no appointment slots available for October and nobody is picking up the phone. We also can't walk-in because that's not allowed. Can someone please respond with an email ID i can send my complaint to or a phone number? Or just get me an appointment and I won't even complain:).

Please don't ask me to send a complaint by DMing you on social media, I don't have twitter or Facebook.

I have been there many time and each time i found front end staff is professional and polite specially Gurneet kaur and Manpreet kaur, hatsoff to both of you how you both handle bit rude crowd (specially the people who is Indian Canadian with little education get short temper due to there own mistake and need to revisit BLS).

I was at BLS Vancouver @4: 30pm. And the door was closed and no one was responding as I was pressing the buzzer. I called BLS call center several times and they don't have any contact info of BLS Vancouver office. I tried till 5: 05 pm and left the place. I guess this is how BLS works.

We are standing in line before even they open, but they let people in, who are just walk in like us, on selective basis and didn't let us in the entire day. Only two ladies working inside, are you serious INDIAN OFFICIALS? Vancouver office has only two ladies working today and were very rude while giving instructions to the security guard and asking them to not let us in and they asked security guard to threat us about our application. They have absolutely no system in place, most of the time you can't book online. I wish there is 0 star possible to give them. PATHETIC PEOPLE WITH PATHETIC SERVICE. THIS MAKES PEOPLE HATE INDIAN SYSTEM MORE.

Worst service possible. Website is not updated. Nobody picks up the ivr line. Apparently they have no appointment slots available for entire month of October. And nowhere is this information updated on their website or IVR line. Walk in is not being entertained and the person at the door has no proper answer to give.
The best of the worst is that apparently there are no supervisors in the Vancouver office before 3pm to help answer your queries!

Few things to note before you head to this place!

Customer service: Below average
Employees: Incompetent on so many levels
Staff: understaffed

I was here to drop off my application for “passport renewal” on Monday, they said we don’t accept after 1pm… so I came back the next day… they made me wait for 2 and half hours and the response was “please wait in the waiting room, we will call you”… this is very annoying as they don’t even have digital screens like ICBC to show your numbers on the screen.

Came to submit an application for PCC. I accidentally put the wrong place of birth and was kindly asked to refill an application rather than being rescheduled for a new appointment.there were some issues trying to send the updated application PDF but it was sorted out and everything when smoothly. The lady present on the office, Gurneet was very clear with her instructions and even with the other clients present gave detailed informations to their concerns.

Definitely a step up from the my last visit in 2019 where there was a different person who may have been overworked and frustrated so was grumpy and stressed (due to high volume of clients and having lack of support on her side.)

But it wasn’t crowded today and everything went without any hassle.

5/5 hope this customer service continues and get the rating of this place up in due time.

Excellent service at the BLS center in Vancouver. Friendly and efficient staff. Was impressed by the kind and helpful nature of the staff! Gurneet Kaur was very helpful, friendly, efficient and approachable. Went there for my OCI application which arrived within 3 weeks of application.
Have been to several other VFS centers in the UK (Manchester and Birmingham) where staff were arrogant, rude and uncourteous. They have no regard for other people's time or no respect for anybody.
All the UK center staff should learn from BLS center staff about appropriate conduct and basic manners.

My wife and I were there recently to file her application for the OCI card. I must admit that we were shockingly surprised to receive exceptional service from the agent Gurneet Kaur. Gurneet was patient in reviewing our documents and explained everything in detail. Even though we had made mistake in our application, Gurneet allowed us to come in either the same day or the next day morning without needing an appointment. We wish the BLS office in Surrey had more people like Gurneet who actually values a client's time and has empathy for their situation.

As long you read the instructions on website, and call them ahead of time to confirm regarding what all documents are needed, you will not have any troubles. I was there for a passport renewal. Waited for 10-15 minutes. Agent Gurneet Kaur was professional, and helpful. Smooth process. If you are looking to save some coins, go to staples and get the photocopies done prior to your appointment.

For the first time I use the services of BLS in Vancouver and I was looking for my PCC but I was so surprise that the entire application was done for me on the spot and the attendant specialist Ms Gurneet was so helpful in explaining the process and how it works. She wouldn’t give up until she had found a solution to get positive lead to your problem and helping out in filling the application. Besides this She really went above and beyond, I would give her 7 stars if I could.

Appointment only admission.even if I had appointment they made me wait for 40 minutes.
But staff was very good, I had all the documents (make sure to prepare well or have everything online you can take printout there), finished my passport reissue quick ly and answered all my question.and they don't accept credit card?

I had to use their services to apply for my infant daughter's OCI card. I don't think I have seen a more disorganized system for any other country.

First: They need an infant's fingerprint. No other govt authority has asked for this. The Canadian passport didn't need a fingerprint either. Infants don't even have a legible finger print ‍️

Second: The information on the website and the Indian govt website is misleading. One page mentions off white bg for photos. Another says white bg. You have to dig through multiple documents to figure out exactly what needs to be submitted.

Finally: Eventually once you do end up figuring out what needs to be submitted, you have to print it all out and take it to an office in person (or mail it in). If you do go in person like I did, its a horrendous experience at the Vancouver branch. I went in December 2020 and they weren't allowing walk ins. I had to book an appointment. I booked one for Jan 18th 2021. When I went in at my appointment time I was told they are not doing appointments and the wait for 3 hours long. Despite their website saying they were doing walk ins but would honor appointment times. I eventually went in at 7am on 20th, waited until 8.15am when they finally opened for the day and managed to submit my papers.

There is only 1 person at the Vancouver office who handles reception as well as document submission. The lady is overwhelmed and has no support as applicants yell at her day in day out for BLS's organizational failures. Applicants and their own staff was not informed of policy changes. Such a shame.

It was really nice experience. Unfortunately, there was issue with camera & I had to go out for the same. One suggestion to the management, there should be an option if someone wants to pick up their passport on their own rather than charging 33 plus CAD for courier service since I stay pretty close so I would have preferred to pick rather than paying that amount. Rest everything was great. Special thanks to Gurneet.

Worst customer service ever seen during Covid pandemic. It was passport renewal of my son. IRecently moved from Vancouver to Surrey and preferred mail services rather than going in person. I paid them twice for courier pick up and drop off service on their portal due to their portal glitch along with a certified check from my bank with the application. The email I received to print courier label didn't worked. I called the Purolator they advised to call BLS. Nobody is available to pick up the call at any service center. I emailed them three days in a row but there is no response.
This is so frustrating.

I went early by 8: 00 am and consultant was very helpful. Was able to submit application and be done by 8: 30 am. Probably go early to avoid queues. They are knowledgeable about the process and very updated about changes.

Update.

Received my new passport today. As mentioned during the application time, it took 3 weeks. Thank you for the service.

Greeted by Rajnish, she took care of my application and explained the procedures very clearly.
Kudos for your patience and handling all the visitors.

Lastly, Covid protocols are missing, BLS is not registering phone number and contact information of visitors!

I have an urgency on my passport renewal request and I have been asked to go back and forth so many times with limited response during this COVID outbreak. Extremely frustrating, I hope my review would at least let BLS look into it and attend to my case and help me out rather than being on call and get passed on for no reason.

Absolute unbelievably the worst experience, I understand there is Covid 19 to deal with but that’s no excuse to not do your job and respond to emails as this is the primary form of communication now. I have left an email 4 weeks ago in response to my application that was wrong. I just want to a straighten out a certain few details About my next application, which I will be paying for AGAIN. I even provided a ticket ID number through their BLS CANADA International system still have had no reply. I’ve also sent an email to BLS International and there is still NO REPLY.my father-in-law’s passport expires June 25,2020 and now I’m just guessing again on my application and sending it out hoping to get it right. Is there anyone out there that is frustrated like myself!?

One of the worst customer services I have ever received. I feel that the people who run this organization are looking for fun, but not intended to give reasonable services at all. Seems like employees are highly uneducated and they don't have minimal awareness to their services. If you wanna experience what I just said, please call or email them with a valid question. I know pick up time is 3pm to 5pm. But I work at 2 jobs to run my family. Already spend appx $500 for OCI, I was there to pick up at morning 8.00am explaining my situation still they said they cant give my daughter's OCI. This is why I recommend people to become Canadian citizens so that you don't need to or less to deal with Indians. Poor customer service. Unprofessional staff. I asked them is your rules basically telling me to take a day off ($200) to collect the document. Yessssss.

They still think Modi is the prime minister of Canada. Need Canadian staff. Replace the kids from this office. Have some humanity. Zero service 2/25/2020

If I could give them 0 stars I would.

First, you will always be sent home the first time, so please do not feel dejected or unhappy. Their lack of clear instructions online leads to problems when you get there in person.

Second, it depends which agent you get. Some are okay some are aweful.

As mentioned they sent me home the first time. Again due to the lack of clear instructions further forms were required. Online there were so many versions of the same form that to be on the safe side, I di them all up. The lady here who seemed to be one of their more experienced agents, wasn't very kind at all.

The second time I visited, they stated I have used the wrong date convention as Canada and India didn't follow the same. I will admit though that the lady handling the case this time was much nicer (long hair and glasses). I was asked again to fill out more forms and they asked me to take all my paperwork in a rushed manner and they lost the pic id. They wanted to send me home now because I didn't have a pic, when they lost it. Luckily I had taken a spare. Not sure why. Maybe the universe was guiding me. The agent sitting next to mine, kept interrupting mine and she would go over to help the other person. 3 people came and went with the other agent as my agent would have to and help her. I finally requested that my agent finish my case and move to the next as I had been there over 2 hours now. The other agent (younger girl) was not nice at all. She told these seniors that they would have to download PDF writer and when the lady said I don't even have a computer. She said everyone had it these days. She was a millennial who couldn't understand the world without computers and just dismissed the old lady. My agent was compassionate enough to say I can print it for you. Shame on that young agent.

Bls needs a lot of help to streamline their website and clarity of instructions. A real nightmare.

I had been to bls Vancouver last week for my pcc and was assisted by Ms. Rajnish Kaur who is exceptionally talented at her work and guided me with the process and documents which were been required and I had to come back again with the required documents and I was quite fortunate that I was been assisted by her.

I would like to thank you Ms. Rajnish kaur for the unflinching support and intend that BLS recruits staff of your caliber.

Thank you again and wish you all the best from the bottom of my heart for your future and hope that you rise the ladder of success soon.

The worst service ever. I waited more than an hour just for a person to receive my documents and passport and paid $335 dollars for two applications.

A couple of days later find out that you can apply online and just pay $55 dls and ir takes two days to receive your visa.

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY AND APPLY ONLINE!

Average customer service, waiting area and office setup. It gets the job done. Street parking if you can find or Impark close by.
Applications are accepted only from 8 am to 2 pm. Waiting time depends on the day/time you go.
