Blue Agave Tequila Grill

We had a very lovely evening at Blue Agave. It was our first visit and we had an excellent meal. I highly recommend it. We will return soon!

The food here was amazing, and the server who served us were so kind and sweet. We had a bit of a louder table and he was extremely accommodating. The food was so yummy it was huge and so delicious. Very filling. Would recommend 100%

The mole tasted very burnt, and I had to throw it out because it was not edible. The poblano came with two cold white bread buns, and rice with cubed vegetables that look like they were from the frozen variety at Freshco. It felt like very low quality ingredients for the price and everything tasted very bland, even the chicken leg.

Delicious food and great host. Absolutely recommend going, these are one of 4 maybe 5 actually GOOD restaurants in town

The atmospher and service were great. Nice music, and art on the walls. The food was VERY bland. I had the enciladas, chips and guacamole. Couldnt taste any lime, spice, salt, pepper, cilantro. The chicken was dry and flavorless. The salsa verde was a water like consistancy. I hope they figure something out. I had high hopes and was severly dissapointed.

Blue Agave Tequila Bar in Powell River is an experience. The family-friendly atmosphere and warm welcome set the tone for a fantastic evening. The upscale decor and captivating art added to the ambiance, creating a delightful escape. The traditional Mexican cuisine was not only tasty but truly authentic. The cocktails were a highlight, between my hubby and we tried 6. Each better than the last!
The cocktails were perfect complement to the flavorful dishes.
What stood out the most was the exceptional service - the business owner went above and beyond to accommodate our large party of 14, even creating a personalized menu for us. Blue Agave is truly a gem, and if you haven't visited yet, it's a must-try!

Had such an amazing experience at the Blue Agave! The food was delicious, and the portions were perfect. Went for happy hour, which they offer a free appy w a drink order, and had a great time. We had great conversations w the owner. Cant wait to go back next for the live entertainment!

Went here after a long day's work. The staff went above and beyond to give us a great experience. Been working out of town for two weeks and this was the best spot in that time.

This place is hands down the best restaurant in town. Before I found this place, I would only go to a&w and dairy queen cause all the other restaurants were not worth it. Amazing service and food

The service was friendly and the food was delicious. We stopped there for a light supper on our way to the ferry. We had the tongue tacos and our friend had the fish tacos; both were yummy. The Blue Agave and the other drinks were well prepared.

Loved the place, the live music, the friendly atmosphere and attentive staff.
I was disappointed with the food, though. I had the Tacos al Pastor. The tacos were soggy, and the meat tasteless and dry. There were no condiments, cilantro, lime, cucumbers, salsa. Definitely room for improvement.with so much enthusiasm and a great space I am confident they will work on the taste experience.
My husband loved the Mole Poblano he ordered.

Friendly service with delicious food. They asked if there was an occasion we were celebrating, when I called ahead. When we arrived, the table was decorated for our birthday celebration. An extra touch that was greatly appreciated. Staff was attentive and fun to banter with, and everyone enjoyed their food and drinks.
We'll definitely be back.
