I’ve been taking lessons with Owen for 3 months. I started as a complete beginner and my goal was to learn my favourite song and we were able to start on it right away. With Owen’s help I’ve since learned a few songs too. Highly recommend!

I started guitar lessons with Adrian about 6 months ago and have really enjoyed my experience. I'm definitely a lot more comfortable with the instrument and know a lot more about music - both in terms of playing and theory. Adrian is a great instructor and I definitely recommend him.

Adrian was an amazing guitar teacher and a really talented musician! He had great humour and his lessons were both engaging and challenging enough. He was also very good at bringing my attention to different details and techniques that would improve my playing.

I also enjoyed how flexible he was with the content of each lesson, where he was able to broaden my knowledge not only on guitar but also on music theory and different styles of music. Overall, I really looked forward to coming in to the studio during the two years I took lessons and I would definitely recommend Adrian as an instructor!

Oswin is a fantastic teacher who tailors lessons to your interests and needs. He has a unique ability to break down complicated musical concepts and theory into easy to understand parts. Highly recommend him if you want to take your playing to the next level.

I’ve been taking drum lessons here for about 6 months with Jason & it’s been fantastic, highly recommend.

Jason’s a great teacher, excellent musician and all round good dude, lessons are tailored to what I want to achieve & playing the music that I like and want to play which makes the experience engaging and rewarding. I’ve made huge improvements from when I began and that’s factoring in my less than rigorous practice regime! Which is honestly a testament to Jason’s work as a teacher.

Paul and all the other guys at the studio are all very friendly and accommodating, I’ve had nothing but positive interactions.

Jason is a great bass teacher. He's always enthusiastic, flexible with lessons, and has really helped me improve my playing! The 40 minutes goes by too fast!

I have been a self-taught guitar player for too many years. I always wanted to have lessons, but never done it for the wrong reasons (time commitment, money.). A few months ago, i decided it was time to get lessons. I have been with Blue Guitar studio for months now, and I am extremely happy with the progress i have made. Lessons are essentials if you really want to reach that next level. My instructor is Lenny. He has a very progressive program tailored for me: a mix of theory, finger exercises, repertoire, transcribing. This is really what i was looking for, and it is paying off! Finally! Worth every pennies i pay.

Adrian has been working with our 9 year old daughter online since Covid and she loves her weekly guitar lessons! I've been taking guitar lessons with Jason since November and have been really enjoying myself! A fun atmosphere and low pressure (I'm an adult just learning for fun). They're flexible when something with work comes up and I have to reschedule, and great at communicating. Would definitely recommend!

Adrian is a extremely skilled musician and an amazing teacher. He has great energy that really makes learning easy and fun. Learning a new skill as an adult can be scary and intimating but I felt confident and supported from the first lesson. The studio itself has a very responsive point of contact and makes scheduling and payment a breeze.

I have tried to teach myself how to play for years never getting anywhere. In just 2 months I have learned more then I could have ever expected. I look forward to my lesson every week!

I wanted to learn to play electric guitar for a few years, but I couldn't make myself go back to school. Until high ratings of the Blue Guitar Studio drew my attention, and I decided to try. It's been almost half a year since I started going there, and I consider myself lucky I've found it.

My teacher Gabe is highly professional, accommodating, and easygoing.
He creates a relaxing atmosphere, and I enjoy his fun and motivational lessons. He takes into account my musical preferences when choosing repertoire.

Although the location is not very convenient for me since I have to go there from Burnaby after work at rush hour, it's worth it. I doubt I can easily find another school of that caliber.

Learning the guitar was on my bucket list of items once I retired.

I look forward to my lessons each week with Gabe. I had some previous experience playing guitar but, I wasn't progressing very fast on my own. Paul, who takes care of scheduling, is very flexible in accommodating my busy schedule, which helps a lot as I am mostly tied to my 17-month old's schedule. He also helped with finding the best teacher for the style of music I like to play (Blues and Rock'n Roll), which ended up being Lenny.

Lenny is an amazing teacher. He's very passionate about playing the guitar, clearly very skilled at it and also has a talent for teaching it. He always comes prepared, readily answers all questions and structures the lessons based on how well you're progressing (i.e. It's always challenging, but not too challenging). Finally, I really like that Lenny appreciates my time constraints which sometimes prevent me from practicing a lot between lessons.

If you want to learn the guitar, then Blue Guitar Studio is a great place to start!

Blue Guitar Studio is a spectacular place to learn guitar. Gabe is an amazing teacher, he's always upbeat and very positive. He is also very knowledgable and his passion for music and teaching is very self evident.

Lenny has been an incredible guitar teacher for my daughter, Capri. She loves every lesson and has learned tons of amazing new techniques in a very short time!

Gabe has taught me so much in such a short time. Transitioning from piano to guitar, he’s allowed me to dive into theory at a sophisticated level while simultaneously helping me with my technique. Gabe always pushes me just outside my comfort zone so I’m consistently challenged. On top of that he is very friendly and easygoing! I've been taking guitar lessons with Paul for about 8 months now. I've probably improved more in those 8 months then I have in the last 10 years since I've first picked up a guitar. He's knowledgeable about any genre of music that I've asked about, specifically blues/jazz and funk and I can pretty much ask him how to play a song that he's never heard of before and he'll be able to teach me within the same lesson.
