Bluefin Sushi

It's a quaint little place with a few nice staff and the prices are great. But the food quality is just not great. The sushi was not tasty and the sunomomo was actually purple and had a piece of raw broccoli in it.

I was stuck in RCH for 2 weeks and my Fiancè brought me a tray from here. Quality ingredients and great taste. A true mom and pop shop that does it very well.

Been here many times over the years, never had a bad experience. Dragon roll is a must-have.

The food looked good here, however the flavours were a pretty off. The poke bowl was far too sweet and the prawn tempura tasted too much like egg. I think their regular sushi may be okay, we never got a chance to try it, but their special stuff we tried was not very good.

They make the best yam tempura roll I've ever had. They add a teriyaki sauce over it and a crunchy topping. Yum!

Really want to rate higher but the dishes still has left over food stuck to the underside AND on surface.

Very picky when it comes to sushi, admittedly I have far too high of expectations of places, that said, this place blew me out of the water on food quality alone, lovely hole in the wall, they clearly care about the food they put out.

The owner tried to scam me. First time ordering here and when I went to pickup, she subtly had tipped herself on the machine before handing it to me. Luckily I noticed because the number was very high. She fixes it after I bring it to her attention but then proceeds to tell me 'I'm so lucky' to have my salmon for only $10 because the tuna is $20. It felt passive aggressive and made me uncomfortable. She should review her own menu prices online if she doesnt remember, instead of trying to scam for a 30% involuntary tip. Super inflated prices. Service was off-putting, wont be back. A shame because I work at the nearby hospital, makes me wonder how many other hospital staff she has potentially scammed. I will walk a little further to Ikoi now for sushi.

My wife and I were starving after a stay at RCH. Went out to grab sushi since it was close and priced reasonably. What a hidden gem! Delicious, fresh and generous portions! Worth a trip!

My go-to sushi place, I have never been disappointed! Great food, reasonable prices and service with a smile.

Great place for a casual lunch, especially if you work in the area. Both owners are courteous and try their best to get your food prepared in a timely manner. Food always tastes delicious and fresh, and prices are within reason.

I could immediately taste the tuna was not fresh, so had to spit it out.
Rice they used to make the roll was way too overcooked and mushy.

This little joint is dope, an awesome spot to grab some good eats sushi grub when your in the hurry from RCH Hospital which has limited options within the area, especially those that are literally adjacent and 200 meters from the entrance.
The Agedashi Tofu 揚げ出し豆腐 I must admit was super weird and tasted more like fish stick style batter or nuggets, rather than Tempura. Albeit, the rest of the sushi was plentiful portion and plenty of yummy fresh Edamame 枝豆. The Dynamite Roll 炸虾卷 in fairness was the yummiest, totally dig the added crunchy Yam in there as a sweet edition.
Super friendly couple running a quaint, low fuss and minimalistic sushi and poké joint with a nice vibe after very reasonable fare.

We’ve been coming here for many years and food and service never fails. Food is delicious and service is timely with a smile. We love the bento box, whether it’s chicken teriyaki or sashimi. Always good!

Spent every dinner here for almost 2 weeks during my wife's stay in the hospital. It's a place where I can find peace and take care of myself. Thank you!

Nice restaurant overall. It is small and right across the street from the hospital, so expect it to be busy almost all the time.
