Not good customer service all three times I had to come to this branch in the last month. 1st appt: the agent wasn't in (and hadn't bothered to cancel) and the person I finally saw was constantly distracted. 2nd appt: the person made a serious mistake which meant I needed to go back a 3rd time. 3rd time: teller was impatient and borderline rude. The three stars are only because eventually my job was done.

Horrible experience - customer service was simply awful. Long line up and staff was extremely rude and not helpful at all. I will close my account with this bank just for this reason.

I almost lost my debit card information due to a fraud and didn’t have my card, I came straight to Hazel, she helped me fill in a email and also got me a new card right away. She was very nice and so sweet thanks again

One terrible experience in this BMO branch.i want to withdraw my money from the short-term redeemable GIC to my cheque account. Since my opening account is in Richmond, they just need to fax my opening branch and call them to make this process done. And the same process have already been done in this Silver branch and Deer lake branch twice. But this manager, Nancy Zheng, said they could do the fax but will not call my opening branch. I said this process have be done once in this branch, just need a fax and a call. She just insist that she and other staff will not call the other branch. And i ask for Chinese language speaker, she said she can't understand Chinese and not more. All Asian faces in this branch, and i heard chinese speaker talking to other customers. 40mins later, i went to New Westminster Branch, within 5 mins, service been done without and further information, they just call and fax to do the process. If the system could give 0 star, i would give BMO Sliver Dr branch 0 star. And for this Nancy Zheng, -100 stars, Real terrible attitude, horrible service and not professional at all! I will 100% close my accounts in BMO for this kind of experience~

Do you want to wait for over 30mins in line and enjoying the view of nothing?

Then this is the bank for you!

Enjoy zero customer service and long wait times. Extremely understaffed! With a scenic view of confused looking workers.

Once you actually reach your final destination, the window.

You are greeted with unskilled, untrained, confused and dazed looking staff. They will be totally clueless and probably have no clue what you actually want done.

Your journey isn’t over yet! You shall then proceed to wait another 30mins for a simple withdrawal transaction that should only take 5mins.

After that your terrible experience ends. As you walk out and see the ever growing lineup. You make a little prayer for everyone there and pray they get a better experience.

Come to do banking, leave contemplating how this place exists.

To everyone in line have a wonderful day!

Love the location, but the line up at 3 pm on a Wednesday was insane. Only two tellers. The line didn't move after 8 minutes of waiting so I left. Hopefully they improve that.

I had fantastic service and help from Hazel Tran. She used her time for a long time to arrange an appointment that was suitable for me. I want to say thank you again to her. She is very friendly and has a great service mindset.

Edit: It has been four business days and no response at all from BMO. The manager who was there when this happened is on a month-long vacation, so no call yet. And another teller told me now that I have to wait up to 10 days for them to see if my money can be retrieved. What a nightmare.

I was so happy that a location opened up nearby my place, but today I went to their atm for the first time and it straight up took $2,000.00 of my money. The atm had trouble counting such a large (?) amount of money apparently. I’m very distressed. If the machine malfunctions again and gives someone else my money it will be gone forever.

The worst customer service. I will not bank at this branch anymore. Just absolutely horrible sevic.e waited 30 minutes while they have 4 teller and 3 people in line. The teller spending 20-30 minutes with clients and running back and forth to the manager office. If something can't be resolved at the counter move to an office and find another solution. Tellers needs to be properly trained and the manager needs to be present for the teller. Once you get to the teller. Zero acknowledgemen and noteven saying even hi. What happened to this branch.

This is the worst BMO location I've ever been to. 2 CSRs servicing customers created a huge line-up.

To make it worst, a person that looked like the manager came out, saw the line-up, and didn't even budge to assure us of anything or jump in to help.

I only gave 1 star because 0 was not available.

First, the employee didn’t wear the name tag, I don’t know who I am dealing with.

Second, when I encountered the service problem and want to escalate it to manger, the manager hidden behind the office, ask the teller or PBA lied to me “ the manager is not in the branch “, so where is the manager on duty?

Third, I want to know how this branch think and act the BMO “ We are here to help “, by using lies to avoid responsibility? By asking customer came back next time? Or you can take more time to read Bill C-86.

Have called on multiple occasions for assistance with banking over 2 weeks. Never was my called picked up and their voice message box is full and no messages can be left. Extremely poor customer experience.

Management are so RUDE to customers! Calling customer "a waste of time" why? ! Don't go, they will be ur waste of time. I feel sorry for those that work here i bet the workimg enviromemt is pretty toxic too. Change your job. They dont deserve good people working for them. You dont deserve to be treated like" a waste of time" no body should be treated like THAT EVER!

Brian Nam is so flexible, friendly, and gets the work done quickly. He always asked me first if I don't know but I need anything. All the other employees are friendly too.

Very bad experience banking with them. I deposited a bank draft to my saving account and they said it won't be available one week later. Hey, it was a bank draft, if it would be hold, why I bothered to bought a bank draft? Asked the girl to check with her manager, came back with the same answer. I checked my account yesterday, the fund were already available. But When I tried to transfer some fund to my checking account, it showed "that's more than you have in your account. ", that was not true. Very ridiculous. Don't want to bank with them again. Will close account soon!

With long line up and super slow service in this branch, actually slowest banking service I have ever experienced. I am currently in the line up for 30min and I am still next to the front door.

Do NOT choose BMO. I had very bad experience with their credit card application. First of all, the first appointment was a complete no show. 2nd appointment the guy told me to call the visa center, and the visa center requires a credit card # to proceed.it turned out to be that these guys lacked customer service and training. Made complaints, manager called me back on Friday and said he was gonna call me again on Monday once he finds out the details. Guess what? Nothing. The complaint eventually reached to some person from the head office who then made a formal complaint to the branch. I was being super patient and kind to give them another chance if they could prove to me that there is no ghost employee issue and I needed to know what happened and why no one bothered committing to client appointment. The assistant branch manager just tried to push me to do the credit application without resolving my concerns and that ended up with no follow up again! I waited 5 months and eventually Scotiabank called to offer their visa card. I made final complaint to the headoffice agent and told her that I'm no longer considering BMO for anything past, present and future to put it to an end. Canada is considered a major risk for money laundering per a recent AML seminar that I attended to and i think this is a valid concern about their non-compliance and lack of customer service.

This is the worst BMO branch I have ever visited. I went to this branch for withdrawal. Also brought some coins to deposit. I know many coins will cause trouble for the Teller to count and may waste their time to help other customers. So I rolled all the coins up as it should be (like 40 one roll for 25 cent) the only thing was I did not use the formal roll paper. I have deposited like this before in many branch, always no problem. But this time this male teller just refused to deposit the coins for me, he said it was not used the formal roll paper. If I give a bag of coins without count and roll, I totally understand he refused it. But I already counted and rolled up, he still refused it then I think this is your service issue. BTW the branch was really empty when I was there. Don’t recommend this branch to anyone, so bad my father’s account is with this branch.

We made an appointment with personal banker Shaun Lu for some problems concerning our bank accounts setting and credit card. Shaun provided us with very considerate and professional services, all problems were successfully resolved. We do appreciate his wonderful help.

If you like waiting around for a bunch of people who don’t know how to do they’re job properly, get an account at BMO. If you like inconstant service based on which teller you walk up to, get an account at BMO. If you like waiting 30 minutes for an Etransfer, get an account at BMO. If you want your bank to take the side of fraudsters over their own customers, get a an account at BMO.

Huge shout out to Shaun Lu, the personal banker at BMO metrotown location. Very attentive and skillful gentleman. He helps upgrade my credit card and makes excellent recommendation on my banking plan. Will revisit him for sure.

My experience in opening an investorline was definately far from smooth as multiple system errors had me come back 3 times. With that said, the courtesy and friendliness of Shaun Lu and the knowledge of Yoa, made the supposedly arduous process quite easy and dare I say even enjoyable. Keep up the good work.

Shaun Lu, the staff member of this BMO bank who opened an account for me, was very patient and friendly. He gave me a lot of professional advice and was able to solve problems based on my (client's) interests. Because my English is not good, he needs a lot of time to do things Still patiently sacrificed and helped me complete the tedious account opening procedures. Worthy of praise,

I had an excellent meeting with Shaun Lu (Personal Banker). He is very polite, patient that help me solve all the problem.

It was very refreshing to experience a fast help to my concern and thus I plan on coming back to him for any issues in the future.

I had an excellent meeting with Shaun Lu. He helped me figure out an unusual issue that I have been dealing with regarding my car insurance payment.

I tried to contact customer service for both insurance and bank but there was no resolution throughout this month.

However, after my meeting with the Personal Banker Shaun he not only resolved my payment issue but also gave me a valuable tip to avoid similar problems in the future.

It was very refreshing to experience a fast help to my concern and thus I plan on coming back to him for any issues in the future.

Amazing work!

Worst experience I have in this bank
The branch manger i forgot her name when going inside her office in left side
She is very disrespectful
She dont know what's respact mean
She threaded me that she will close my account she didnt know I have 2 mortgage and I been with BMo mor then 14 years that mean agent I was custmer she didnt work for bank
Also since 2009 I have business account with this branch so I shift to TD and left account with only 5 transaction
Now there suspeicies activity in my account without authorization money be send to Bestbuy so see what's going on
I dont recommend to open account with this branch you will be disappointed for sure
