This business is NOT friendly to LGBTQ+ individuals. I specifically visited the branch to update my legal name and flag the correct pronouns/prefixes to use when referring to me. Issues:

- Mail is incorrectly prefixed, which I was told during an in person meeting at the branch would no longer occur. 12+ months later, the issue continues.
- Call center staff misgender me and repeatedly misgender me even if corrected. This occurs for most calls - 4/5 in the past year.

Canada updated its human rights legislation in 2016 and seven years later, BMO cannot get it right. Absolutely deplorable.

Absolutely horrendous service. The staff who attempted to help us had no knowledge and no understanding of any of our requests. I do not recommend using this bank and especially this branch. If I could rate a zero I would. It pains me to have to leave even a single star.
