Atrocious customer service. Hidden charges are everywhere at this branch, and they do not answer their phone. Do not use this branch unless you want to be scammed.

This was my home branch for over 10 years. Deposited hundreds of thousands of dollars at a time and never had any problems. I asked for a bank draft from a cheque issued by another financial institution. I have made deposits from this other bank in the past. Not only did they deny me the draft, (which was time sensitive) the bank manager had the audacity to tell the teller to tell me to go to the branch in Richmond (bank that issued cheque) and have their manager give me paperwork so I can return this paperwork back to White Rock and they can call this manager and release a small amount. Pretty sure this lazy manager could have called this bank himself to verify the funds in the account. I will NEVER use this branch again. I am strongly considering closing my bank account. If you’re looking for a bank manager who will not go the extra mile for you then I strongly recommend this branch. The Morgan Crossing Branch is the complete opposite. The bank manager at that location is very professional and compassionate and she will do what she can to help you out.

The worst customer service experience across the whole Metro Vancouver. One of the tellers, Emma, is very rude, disrespectful, and seem to have no knowledge of what she is doing. Avoid this branch and BMO as a service provider.

Straight up the consistently worst banking experiences ever. Once you finally reach a teller, they are competent and pleasant. Problem is with management chronically understaffing the branch. Always a very slow line. Moves at a snail's pace. Today I waited twenty minutes and moved zero places in a line of seven with two tellers busy serving lengthy banking needs. No respect for the customers time. The manager (?) came out and spoke to someone in line, but did not go to a teller's spot and help out with the backlog. In a banking world of record profits annually, perhaps they should be more responsive to the customers' needs. As a 30+ year BMO customer, it is time to move on. Take your business elsewhere.

Today, after a total of more than 9 hours on the phone including being on hold, plus a futile bank visit, my replacement credit card is out for delivery. It should arrive tonight or tomorrow morning at the latest. As I type this now, it's exactly 5 weeks and 2 days since I received the automatic email from BMO telling me that my card was compromised and I needed to phone the fraud centre. In other words, it's taken a month and six days to replace my card. Enough said.
