Membership is crazy expensive compared to the services they offer. Their prices are almost double of what you'd pay at another gym.

The facilities are always very clean with lots of showers and lockers and lots of parking. Staff are always friendly and the gym isn't usually very busy. They also don't have contracts, which is my main reason for using this gym as I've been screwed over in the past.

However I find some of the gym equipment lacking. For example, they don't have bumper plates, different options for barbell bars, or different workouts accessories. I'm working with a trainer at a different gym and she often has to troubleshoot with me to adjust my workout to the Y's limited equipment.

Also, their hours aren't great. Closing at 5pm on Saturday and 2pm on Sunday is way too early imo so I don't tend to go on weekends.

Overall I like this gym, I just wish they'd upgrade some of their equipment, especially as it's supposed to be a family gym so items like bumper plates should be a given.

You can find table tennis, swimming pool, gym, basketball and classes for swimming and fitness. Nice staff. Clean and attractive surroundings. Not too much busy. If you go now you can get 1 week trail for all of these. Highly recommended.

Is a very nice and clean staff very helpful. Took on a tour. Not very busy.has a great gym everything you need to stay healthy. And a big beautiful swimming pool. I joined seniors 24.95 every two weeks well worth the money

Sad to give it 1 star. Got a so called 5 day pass for only a 2 week period. I said to the girl, can it start may 1 and she didn't do it. I lost a week right away. The schedule times and classes are awful: (. Very poorly set up: (I did 1 yoga class. Worst ever and I've done quite a few different ones over the years. Went to another one with a different name and it was the same but even worse than the other one: (I left after 1/2 an hour of sleeping there when I just woke up from a better nights sleep. Never seen that before. Maybe good classes were cancelled. I'll never get to try them. Sadly those ones are only 1 time or on 1 day a week. This Greatly Contributes to NO Quality of life: (: (: (: (I won't even go into the BS of low to no income: (: (: (Their prices are OUTRAGEOUS. Brutally Disappointed: (

Karen and Maria are such helpful staff and very polite when I had met them at the front desk.

A facility of this square footage should have more than two squat racks and one bench press; it’s designed for the geriatric. Don’t waste your money.

First time going today. Really nice newly renovated facility. Clean and well managed.

Definitely going to use this facility over the cheaper options available in town.

The price biweekly is good given the facility and staff for sure.

I think it’s a great gym but has its flaws I feel like it could have less cardio machines and add a better bicep curl machine and just have more machines in general and add just one smith machine for different kinds of calf raises and exercises unique to it but other than that the staff are super friendly and the bathrooms and locker rooms are super clean which I’m impressed with for a public space

Fantastic staff. Super friendly and so helpful! It could be a bit easier to register. The app they use seems to be having some issues but otherwise it's a great gym and 10/10 for their kids programs!

Warm, helpful and absolutely lovely staff, Amazing facilities and services. We love the time we spend each week at this centre.

Great staff and gym and facilities are always clean. However I wish they were open longer on the weekends.

The child minding programs alone make this place the best. Its been my saving grace with little kids. My 1st day back to the gym after 17months from the whole covid thing. An I moved away for 2yrs. Its still the best gym ever if you have kids. Worth every penny!

I normally love the YMCA. We stuck with it during the renos and covid. But they don’t have programs for my kids when I need them. The 10-15 ages are hard for the kids to get what they need from the YMCA. No child
care, so i can’t go to my classes. And swimming lessons filled up before we even got an email about it. Not to mention they now charge double the amount for a family of four. I don’t think we can stay with the YMCA. Will be switching to Cheam for now. Will keep watching the Y, if they change what they can offer, maybe it will be worth the price.

I didn't realize that YMCAs were so inflexible when it comes to access and membership. Their website sucks big time - I looked for at least 30 min on memberships and not sure if I ever found the pricing - I think I gave up. Not really any programs for seniors.

Impeccable premises! Beautiful and well equipped. Feels inviting as its not overwhelmingly big.

Will wait and see but not impressed especially in the last two years, been member since November 2010

Staff is helpful, paid for membership online. In person only took like 4mins, then i was right into a workout. Nice!

Absolutely state-of-the-art facility with "real" people running it. A pleasure to visit!

The building is always clean and the staff are friendly. Never too busy and lots of machines to chose from. If you’re looking for a gym that isn’t intimidating, the Y is for you!

Love the YMCA. Lots of new equipment and plenty of staff to help you out. Looking forward to pool time

The new Reno's look excellent. I wasn't sure what to expect walking in but it has a very modern look. New high-end workout machines, great gym, and even though nothing was done to the pool the whole area around the pool has been updated. Only thing I couldn't find was the racketball 1 court but never was good at that anyways.

There is a play group class for the children! Adults can do their thing while the children do theirs!

Nice new building with lots of light and friendly staff. A good assortment of machines and clean well-lit change rooms. The pool is decent, but not very big.

Excellent facility. Nice and clean. Comfortable. Drop in rate is high, alienating those of us who work out of town.

Facility updated! New amenities rooms and gym, and an updated schedule of activities for the whole family. Great staff, and lots of creative / active play for the kids including drop-off programs. Looking forward to the pool (and hot tub!) re-opening soon.

Y Play makes the YMCA even more amazing. I can work out and know that my kids are having a great time.
