I went to Bond Mechanical to replace the engine in my GMC 1986 Camper special. I told them i needed to tow a 6000 lb trailer across Canada.
They lied to me.
They sold me an old dusty 305 they wanted gone from off the shelf, it failed in Victoriaville Quebec.
I paid 3000 dollars to tow that boat anchor to Dartmouth.
They very reluctantly honored their warranty and shipped me an '83 350, but I paid for shipping and labor for the re-install, plus an extra 500 for the 350.
The people at the engine shop in Dartmouth agreed I had been shafted by Bond Mechanical.that 350 they sent me has since broken, so now I am at square one after paying over ten thousand dollars because Bond Mechanical are not what they would like to appear.

Extremely over priced wasn't done in promised time but didn't mind that until I got the bill 486 dollars for one bearing change is actually outrageous especially when I paid extra for transportation due to the delay

Excellent mechanics. I was bummed to leave Ottawa and leave my mechanic behind. But Al and Robin and the others are fantastic and I have come to trust them with my car.
Since Bond doesn’t do out-of-province inspections I took my car to another shop. This other shop quoted me $1000-1600 for the necessary repairs. I decided to take the car to Bond and they found that they could fix it up for just $680. After this experience I’m never taking my car anywhere else!

The guys here are very knowledgeable! We use them often for anytime of machine or engine work. Very reliable and always able to get things done quick and efficiently. They are highly recommended and do great work. Been in business for a long time and have a lot of experience with all males and models of vehicles. When in search of anything engine related they have your back and will definitely take good care of you.
