Bone & Biscuit

If you own pets, I highly recommend Bone and Biscuit. The owners and staff are very knowledgeable and go above and beyond to help find the perfect food for your pets. My dog went through a lot of health issues this summer and lost majority of his weight. We spent months trying to find food that he would eat and help him gain weight. Once we switched to the food recommended by the owners, he was a new dog. I can’t say thank you enough, you guys really changed my dog's life.

I’m not sure I’ve ever written a review before, but for them I HAD to. This place has transformed my German shepherd into a new and healthy dog and if I could give 100 stars I would.

I got Doug when he was 1 year old from a very horrible previous owner. He was riddled with anxiety, never wagged his tail, and had constant diarrhea. The diarrhea got so bad that sometimes it got bloody, and when I’d come home from work it would be everywhere. All over the floors and walls. He felt so guilty but I couldn’t even be mad at him because he was obviously very unwell.

I tried everything. Literally, everything. His health consumed me. My bank account had run dry from vet bills, medications, expensive prescription foods and raw foods. Nothing I did seemed to work.

When he turned 3 he was at his lowest point; he weighed 59 pounds and you could see his ribs. Our saving grace was that he was now a super happy and energetic dog because he was in a safe place and our relationship was strong. But I had lost all hope with his poops and weight. I didn’t think he would ever get better.

Finally I went to Bone and Biscuit. I asked them for an allergy test because I figured, hey that’s the one thing I haven’t tried yet. They told me not to bother and that they would fix him.

I was pretty skeptical to say the least after all we’d been through, but they seemed so knowledgeable that I trusted them. Boy am I glad I did.

My boy is now 4.5 years old and the healthiest he’s ever been. He weights 74lbs which is perfect for his size and his poops have become solid like a normal dog. Perhaps the best thing about it all is that he’s not in ANY medications anymore. This has been such a relief in so many ways and I cannot thank the owners and staff members at Bone and Biscuit enough. Not to be dramatic but, they probably saved his life.

They are so incredibly knowledgeable; so much more so than any of the very expensive vets we’ve been to (which we no longer go to).

If you’re having issues with your pup you MUST go here and see these wonderful people.

Very poor customer service, very disappointed with our experience and your policies. Will not be supporting a business like theirs.

Will not stand behind the foods they sell. Refused a refund or exchange on dog food which our dog had an allergic reaction to.

No one had told us to keep the original bag. We switched it to a sealable container as the bag did not seal. We had a receipt but that apparently wasn’t enough. Very poor service as the owner didn’t solution any other options.

Would have been nice if any of the following were offered: credit toward trying a new bag, partial credit…. Nothing was offered.

Buyer beware!

**Holding on to original packaging should be something that is clearly communicated to your customers **Especially those who are trying new foods for their animals!

We Love supporting small locally owned businesses but not when they provide poor service and offer zero solution in this situation. Very disappointing.: (

Our dog Limon has a very tricky diet as she is allergic to chicken and beef and refused to eat regular kibble. The team here has helped her and now she's eating great! Always enjoy chatting with the team there. A + ALL AROUND service here!

Bone and biscuit in Grandview has been such an important part of the care for my dog Dixon! Always so helpful when trying to find the right food for him and making sure he is supplemented and feeling good! They remember my dog and I when we walk in! I cannot recommend them enough!

I was just browsing and looking at different products for my pup. And a stuff came to help me pick up everything I needed. Very friendly and helpful. Definitely will come back for more.

I can't thank you and your staff enough. On Friday I came in there with my old man. He was almost 17. We came in to find special treats for our last afternoon together. Everyone there was compassionate and understanding. Your generosity was appreciated more than I can say. Thank you so much.

This is my favorite pet shop by far, the owners and staff are very knowledgeable and they carry lots of great products. My dogs love coming here and the staff always welcomes them, they make shopping here feel more like a social visit than an errand.

Unfriendly staff. Parked in their stall as I was going to make a purchase in their store. Then realized my wallet was with my wife. Was waiting to meet my wife at a store she was in when a oversized lady who worked at Biscuit, rudely yelled at me in front of my 2 year old, to move my car out of their stall. I said I'm meeting my wife here to grab my wallet and I'll be at their store. She yelled back and said you better or else I'm towing your car. Regardless of her rude behavior, I still went to their store only to be embarrassed by the same unprofessional lady, who yelled at me "I can't help you right now" in front of customers and her other staff who was standing there doing nothing. This type of behavior will never succeed in a business. Don't be fooled by the other reviews. What happened to me today says the truth about them. Please consider going elsewhere.

I love shopping at the Bone and Biscuit; Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Always help me find the right product for my Princess Callie. I talk very highly to all my friends and family as how and why they should shop at Bone & Biscuit. On a different matter to you Rudi Ciccia; I witnessed the who event yesterday Saturday February 12,2022. You had no intention or going into the Bone and Biscuit for any purpose but to cause a sense to ease your own guilty mind for parking in an allocated location for your own ease so you and go and grab your sandwiches. The staff was not rude and was not yelling at you; she advised you to move your vehicle so their customers could load their purchases. When you walked into the store she was busy and another associate will help you but you sore and took a tantrum like a baby and stormed off and expressed you will write a bad review. Before you insult someone's physical appearance I suggest you look at your wife's appearance start from there; before passing judgement on anybody else. And to wish a successfully thriving business to go under.you are a special kind of stupid please get educated bad KARMA is coming your way.

The owner helped me find the perfect food for my dog without me having to spend tons of money on wasted food! My dog no longer has dry skin and yeast buildup thanks to their help! And every time I come in they remember my dog:)

Fantastic pet store! The owners are always super friendly and helpful. On top of carrying great products they are incredibly gracious. Our puppy got frightened and peed in the store and they were so considerate and compassionate about it, even gave him treats to make him feel more at ease. Highly recommend!

Bone & Biscuit is my dogs' favourite stop, with yummy treats, fun toys, fashionable clothes and accessories, and everything else you could want for your pet. I especially love the giant cookie display case with different designs for every season or event. Apollo & Khali will be back very soon!

Absolutely amazing staff and the best service you can find! I just got my first puppy 2 weeks back and they have been extremely helpful. They take the time to get to know you and your puppy and your individual needs. They have provided so much useful information above and beyond just selling their products. I highly recommend them!

Cute, cute, cute shop for pet lovers. Items for cats and dogs. Not sure about other animals as we were looking for a specific item and didn't take time to browse. Very friendly and helpful.

DO NOT ever shop here. The worst pet store I've ever been to. Go to Petsmart or any other corporate stores. There customer service is head over heels superior to this place. What a nightmare.
