This may well be the best used bookstore in the GVRD.
Wide selection. Excellent prices. Reasonably well organized (for a business in a niche that trends towards chaos, mess, and disorder) and the proprietor is friendly and seems to know where every book in the store is.

Love the place, so many books but it's all super organized and easy to find what you need. The owner was very nice, she helped me find the genre I was looking for immediately.

Locally owned bookstore! Everything is very well priced and the lovely owner works at her store:) she’s delightful. Some books you can get 3 for $1, many are outside for $1 and the rest are usually $2-$13 depending on what you want!

We absolutely love and adore the women who owns this shop. My girlfriend and I come in with the most random requests for books and she always finds us exactly what we need.

My partner had a lovely chat with the owner. She not only recommended him a very promising book but also gave it to him for free. We'll be sure to pay another visit the next time we're in North Vancouver.

The last second-hand bookshop on the North Shore, and well worthy of that title (no pun intended!). A wide selection, unbeatable prices. And if you can’t find something, just ask. The wonderful owner of the store is quick to help, and somehow knows exactly where everything is on the crowded shelves.

A treasure trove of classic science fiction and fantasy! I wish I lived near by to visit every week. Owner was kind and helpful, explaining where everything is at. Fun hunting for hidden gems. I’ll be sure to swing by again next time we’re in Vancouver.

Best used bookstore - owner keeps prices low and affordable $2-$6 usually maybe $8 if its a recent newer one.very organized too and super helpful

My sons and I stopped in on our stay-cation and what a gem of a store. I love the character and all the books! We all left with some great finds and enjoying our new books! The owner is also very nice and helpful! Thanks so much! We'll be sure to stop in again! Highly recommend and great for tourists!

One of my favourite places to visit.took my 11 year old here a while ago and we walked out with more books than we could carry - He is a prolific reader and he was amazed about how many pre read books he was able to get with his weekly reading budget.

Mind blown! It was our first time visiting Book Lovers today, and we got lost in there for 2 hours. There’s lots of selection in every category you can think of. The owner is very friendly and has been operating the shop for 15 years! It’s one of the best used book stores in North Van! Can’t wait to go back.:) Thanks!
