The rudest staff I've ever been around at bosleys at least the one in victoria on shelbourne treat us alot better since between myself my mom and my partner we spend close to 5bills a month I think it's ti.e to go somewhere else if im going to be living in langford or colwood!

I went into Bosleys Westshore to use the dog washing station and i was informed that the dog washing station is closed on Wednesdays. I asked why and i was told "its been closed on Wednesdays for past 2 years". There is no where that says the station is closed on Wednesdays.who closes a self serve dog washing station on a Wednesday? Obviously im never going back to that store, i drove a long way to wash my dog that day.ridiculous!

Apparently you need appointments for a walk-in dog wash. With one tub available the earliest we could get in was an hour and a half. Ridiculous.

Store is alright, but the dog wash closes incredibly early compared to the closing time. If the store is open until 1900 on a Sunday why is the wash closed at 1630.

I understand that it has to close so the staff can clean and prep for the next day, but 2.5 hours seems a bit much.

I like this place. Very friendly folks, and a great selection of food and toys. They love it when you bring your dog down too!

I would not recommend going to this location to use the dog wash. The one staff member (shorter women with brown hair) was very rude, when I asked if I could use the dog wash, the response she gave was full of attitude as if I was disturbing her with the question. Once they went over the rules of the dog was i started washing my dog and brushing out her mats. I was then informed that you are not allowed to brush the knots out of your dogs fur while you are washing them, you are also not allowed to cut out any burs or clumps. You are also only allotted 30 minutes to wash and dry your dog. I have a very fluffy husky who is in full shedding mode and who was full of knots after a hike, I left with a half wet dog full of knots. It was a complete waste of money. I would recommend any of the other locations as they do not have these limitations.

My dog showed signs of discomfort regarding food, en route to vet stopped at bosleys to offer a different option. Bosleys offered two free samples! It didn’t work but was greatly appreciated.

I don’t mind the store at all. Most of the time it’s pretty good for customer service. However there is a young lady that works at the cash register. She is always very rude and always rolls her eyes every time i go and check out. She is never friendly and i don’t think she should be working in costumer service if she can’t be civil and work with people.

Worst Bosleys out there. Dog wash rarely open, blame "lack of staff". Poor selection, prices much higher than PetSmart.

Businesses that treat their staff well, and pay them well, have no problems with retention.

Why is it every time I go to Pet Value in Langford, they are always closed when it says online they should be open? It is now 7: 15pm and itnsays they are open until 8pm.and nadda. Doors are locked.so very frustrating!

Wash basin for dogs, never available because they are short staffed. They use it for storage. Always out of the products that are on line or available in other Bosley stores.

The staff here is always so friendly and helpful! They always answer the phone in a pleasant and caring manner. They always offer to carry my dog food out to the car. I also want to give a huge shout out to them for ordering the special dog food in for me and storing it for me until I can come pick it up. You all ROCK!

A well versed staff willing to correct their gendered word usage to make a Two-spirit femme, likes she/her/mamme pronouns so very nice.

On my list of Safe Places (staff are masked, room in venue for distance between customers) also Awesome Places (need new ideas? Staff are great problem solvers…). Without Bosleys staff knowledge my cats would have long since destroyed my house.

Lovely staff and beautiful store. I love the dog washing station at the back and so does my big rottie! Great products available at reasonable prices.

Very knowledgeable staff, great selection for sensitive diets, and a really cool pet wash area.

Horrible horrible management. Be careful when buying expensive items here because if there’s a manufacturing defect the manager will not care. My sister bought an expensive cat carrier and the zipper broke in half, and we would have appreciated the manager to speak with us but she didn’t give us the time of day. Instead she sent another worker to help us (who was very sweet and helpful therefore I can’t complain about him). It’s just poor management overall and not great customer service. The location near Juan de fuca has amazing customer service, I would highly recommend going there instead.

I won’t be back. A lot of the staff is delightful but Josue (I could be misspelling it) was rude, treating us like we were going to walk out after our dog baths without paying. I don’t appreciate being treated like a criminal. We told him we wanted to buy more stuff and he insisted we pay for everything before having our dog baths. I have used Bosley’s dog bath many times and have never before received such horrible treatment.

He was also very rude when we initially walked in at noon. We were not aware that we couldn’t bathe the dogs without an appointment. The tone he used and the way he apologized to other customers about us made us feel like we had done something wrong. Because of this one staff member I won’t be back. Will shop local instead.

Normally I love this store and can only say good things, but today was an exception. I had overheard an associate, Tina, explaining to another customer how raw food is better than the food their Veterinarian suggested (a dental diet). I understand the desire to make a sale, but as a Veterinary professional I just want to point out that this is extremely hurtful advice. Pet store employees should not be trying to convince customers to ignore their Veterinarian's advice, as their advice comes with years of education (plus continuing education!) behind it. I would not trust what this employee tells you, as she clearly does not have the best interest for your pet. Leave the medical advice to your educated Veterinarian.

Bosley's has attentive friendly staff willing and ready to assist the customer. Note to fellow consumers, check that the product exactly matches the sale before heading to the register.

I just moved into the area and was having trouble finding the food/treats that my bunny likes. I asked at the counter and was told they would order these items in for me. Three days later the store phoned to let me know the items were ready for puckup.
Very impressed, great customer service. I have found my new pet store!

Asked the employees at the till to help me to my car with two big bags of litter. One walked around the counter so I thought he was going to grab a bag but he walked right past to the back room and the other one said he can't leave the till. I left a bag at the till and took one bag out, came back and the other bag was gone. Asked the employee where it was and he said didn't you just take it out? This was the same employee that was at the till the entire time. They had no name tag and I was too annoyed to stick around.

Not impressed by the Staff at this place at all. Kind of Nasty. Will never go back. Recommend you go elsewhere.

Shauna was really helpful in finding a suitable kibble for our 2 month old maltipoo after the one that was given to him by the breeder was not suitable for him and was causing some problems. She was also great in giving us tips for a cranky teething puppy!

I took my 4 month old puppy there, she needed a new collar. Staff was really helpful.
However the ok rating comes from the fact they have open bins of dog treats on the floor. My pup us really good, but still. I had to reprimand her a couple times for trying to take the treats. Could have been a positive experience bringing her into the store.

Helpful staff and store has lots of selection. If they dont have it, they will order it in for you!

The staff are very knowledgeable & helpful. They have a large selection for food, toys etc. I find everything I need @ Bosley's
