Server was awsome! But ordered nachos, meat smelled rotten. I m not one to complain, so yes was it bad. Mr mikes it will be for awhile.

Service is slow and they are not anywhere near as good as any other boston pizza I have been too. I will not eat at this location again.

Ok I changed my stars because the pizza we had was good but was not hot waited for a waitress for 15 min there wasn't a hostess up front and it took her 10 min to show up so people walking around really there should be management there to control the situation it was really busy no one answer phonepeople line up outside table some, were dirty and some cleaned there is no orginiztion to much confusion I see why the ones in Kamloops shut down

Wait time too long to order, to get food, to wait for plates and condiments. After all this waiter charged us extra for some items that were already paid. After confirming that with employee she bluntly said she can’t do anything about it? As if they can’t return the money they charged us twice for! Seriously! Then again WAIT as they didn’t know what are they gonna do about it. Disappointed!

Slow and poor service. Wrong orders. Food improperly cooked.

Do not need to say more. Go across the street to the mr mikes. Same price point. Better at everything

Ordered to go, order was wrong, missing items, incorrect items. Manager placed blame on me although my receipts showed my order was incorrect due to the restaurant. Had to wait for them to fix my order while half my order got cold sitting in the car.

Apparently its very hard for them to get an order right. 5 of 6 orders came with missing ingredients and wrong items. Safe to say I won't be ordering here anymore

Friendly staff with relaxing environment. Great place for gluten free options. The baked wings are wonderful.

Merritts Boston Pizza is the usual fair or standered set by the franchise good but not great by any means out side of the lunch an dinner rushes if there's some sporting event or crew working in town anything over a third of the restaurants capacity and things start to break down and you can expect to wait because of it

Quick service but order was not correct as one of the toppings that we requested was missing. Nice that they have a dairy free cheese option. Price was okay as the second pizza was half off otherwise it would have been over $60 for two mediums! Pretty tasty although the crust was better the second day after re-warming in the oven.

The poorest experience I've had with a Boston Pizza.

We were a party of four. Two of us were interested in the soup of the day. The server said she didn't know what it was as she wasn't told, but would check. When she returned she said it was the French Onion (which normally costs $1 more than the soup of the day). We asked if it would still come with garlic toast on the side, as the soup of the day normally comes with that included, and she told us it wouldn't be a problem. We ordered two of then, with an additional side of garlic mashed potatoes for one of them.

The other two of us ordered the New York strip loin and the Boston Sized burger, one with garlic mash, the other with fries.

There were numerous problems with the meal:

The garlic mashed potatoes were all clearly leftovers that had been reheated in the frying pan.

The steak was significantly underdone, and was sent back to the kitchen. The same peice of meat was subsequently put back on the grill and returned overcooked.

The burger was fine, but the portion of fries that came with it was about half the size that I'm accustomed to seeing at BP.

The soup and garlic toast was good, but at the end of the meal we were charged the full French Onion soup price for it, and upcharged for the Garlic Toast, which was contrary to what we were told when ordering it initially. When we brought it up we were told that there was no way it was going to change.

On the way to the washroom I could see into the kitchen, and the cook was busy texting on his phone, not paying attention to the food that he was cooking, which probably explained some of the issues with the food itself.

The bathroom wasn't very clean, had broken ammenities, and only had an empty paper towel dispenser for drying hands.

Terrible service, I didn't see a server for 10 mins when I joined my co-worker in the pub section. They forgot the meat in my pasta dish and the waitress said she would make it right but I didn't see her until my food was finished and she announced " the kitchen forgot" (15 mins later) no discount. The food is under par at best for the price of a finer dining experience.

Awesome service! We got stuck in Merritt because of highway closures and walked in an hour before closing. The manager/supervisor told us half hour wait at least as there was a rush of people who came in because of the closures. I'm sure he saw how tired we were and said actually give me a minute, and cleaned a table and sat us within a few minutes! He went above and beyond for us. We were so thankful! Quick drinks and great service and food.

Had take out pizza one day while in town doing disaster cleanup. Absolutely delicious! The next day we met the owner driving around the flooded part of town ordering pizza for a free supper! Surely anybody can support a local restaurant that will pitch in when disaster strikes the community!

Waiter was rude and snarky. They forgot to cook our meals so the waiter avoided us for 20 minutes and then told us when we decided to leave.

If I could give less than one star, I would.

First of all, as we entered the restaurant we noted it was about half full. The phone was ringing at the hostess desk and we were not greeted at all. After about 10 minutes standing there someone (whom we later discovered was the manager, Kevin) came over to seat us, no apologies for the wait.

We found our table and took our seats and were not told about any specials and not brought waters. We all excused ourselves to go to the washroom and wash our hands. I noted on the way to the bathroom the kitchen was an absolute disaster, trays of sauce all over the floor and food sitting out on counters, paper towel strewn about. The washroom was abysmal. Paper towel spilling out everywhere, floor was filthy, and the smell was hard to get past.

Back at our table a waitress eventually came to take our order. We noted this was a VERY young server. I asked her was the specials were, she had to go look and came back just to say, "fishbowls". We ordered and our drinks (2 Shirley temples and two waters) took 10 mins.

After we got our drinks we ordered food. 35 mins after we ordered our food arrived, 3 of the 4 meals were either wrong or missing something.

As the food was delivered it was stated to our server that we needed more water as all the drinks were gone. We never did recieve them.

Upon the foods arrival my sons fry dip spilled and we used the napkins to clean it up, we never got fresh napkin as our waitress did not check in with us at all. Had she checked in we would have told her my pasta did not have the garlic toast on the plate, and my daughter did not get the side she ordered (apple sauce) and my husband's food was completely incorrect. My husband ordered a Thai Chicken wrap and recieved a chicken ceaser salad wrap with Thai sauce squeezed in. Naturally it was gross and he didn't eat it.

After we were "done eating" the waitress came by and we explained the issues. She said, "oh I'm so sorry, I'll talk to my manager" she came back to say they would be giving a small percentage off the wrap. But nothing they could do about the mistakes now. We asked to speak to the manager.

When the manager came over I happened to be in the washroom and my husband and son spoke with him. He argued with my husband that the wrap was correct and that the apple sauce side has not been available for the last 6 months despite it being on the paper kids menu still, then saying if we had used the digital menu this wouldn't have been a problem (remember he sat us and gave us menus and did not say anything about any digital menu)

Upon my return from the washroom my husband told me what had happened with the manager and I scaned the QR menu. THERE IS NO KIDS MENU ON THE QR! Naturally I called the manager back over and ask him to provide me with his card and the owners information as well as the best way to reach head office. I explained to the manager that a competent manager does not argue with a customer (especially when the customer is infact correct) and that the QR menu has no kids menu, he said "well thats head offices problem".

After all said and done we received a $20 discount. He said this more than makes up for the inconveniences, I disagree. We will NEVER be back to this location.

10 minute wait to be served. 10 minutes to get drinks. 40 minutes to get food. Salad was wilted and wrong ingredients. Manager was extremely rude and did not give discount for the salad I did not even eat. Very unpleasant experience with the Manager. Manager extremely arrogant and condescending.

We had a fabulous server - Justice! Good food (except the chicken on my salad was dry!). Restaurant was very busy.which delayed food. Otherwise, yum!

We came in at 9: 00 p.m. On July 14th. We sat there and waited for service while the waitress and manager bickered. Took forever to get a drink and there was only two tables. Once we finally got our food the order was messed up. No cheese on the French onion soup and it was lukewarm. The bread from the artichoke dip was burnt. While we were eating the waitress and manager kept arguing back and forth it was really uncomfortable and awkward. What bums me out the most is the fact that while we were eating the manager came in and shut everything down all the TVs while we were still eating. He slammed the remote down and slid it across the bar very aggressively and looked over and glared at us. We have been doing quite a bit of traveling and eating at many restaurants and this is by far the worst experience we have ever had. Definitely never coming back to this hostile environment.

Short staffed all around from entry to service. Server was pleasant but too much to do. New Italian burger needs some kind of sauce or aioli. Burger itself was overcooked and dry which did not help. The concept is great which is why I tried it but needs something

If you like Boston Pizza, you'll like this location. Staff are friendly and service is what you expect from the chain.

I am personally not a fan of anything on the menu, but that's not the stores fault as the menu comes from the chain.

Tried to order for delivery called 5 different times and the phone just rang and rang tell it automatically haung up pretty disappointing that no one can answer a phone and atleast be like can you hold we are busy atm

The service was scarce, and if I may suggest, let them know 20 minutes just to get drinks, then 25 more to get my starter salad, with my meal was not the plan. My son asked for grilled cheese, he got a burger, which he did not eat based on its looks. Sorry, as a former BP cook of 5 years, we will not be returning to that location. We were very disappointed.

I ordered a french onion soup and it was the most disgusting thing in my life. I was waiting for almost 10 minutes for the waitress to come and ask me how is my food. When she finally came, I told her that it's gross and salty. She gave me a 20% discount instead of removing it from my bill. Paid for what I couldn't eat.

Typical "Boston's" fare and price, staffed with friendly younger (20's) people. Slightly over priced and (seemingly) slightly paranoid of illness; but, that being said, they are close to a major highway. None of the commonplace plexiglass dividers between tables, just a lot of empty tables. Great place to eat overall.

Cold food! I was served a burger that solidified and tastes like an old mcdonalds burger. For the amount I paid for my meal It would have covered 3 people. I had to update this. It is literally the worst meal I have had in Merritt. Avoid this place.

Nice staff even though they seemed to be at the beginning of their shift and had to run back for all questions we asked. Food was just ok, below the quality we had sat other BP. Pizza has way to much sauce and the pasta we ordered was greasy.

The "bartender" admitted he was previously a cook and thrown into the spot with no training, as such, the drinks were awful. Food was good though

My salad was literally 1/4 rotten. I told our server and she said sorry. I had picked out the rotten lettuce and put it on a side plate and she took it away, but no offer to remake it for me. It was very strange.

We must have showed up at the worst possible time. We sat there without service (not even a water to sip on) for at least 20min. There were tables on the patio with dirty plates stacked ontop of each other. Taking up at least four tables.

Once our server finally came out, she got the majority of our orders wrong. Soon after this she was taken out the side door (employee exit) by the manager and she was crying beside the building in clear view of our table.

We had three different servers in the time we sat down there for lunch. Food was all Luke warm. There were other tables showing equal frustration.

It’s not often I leave a 1 star review. But our experience was completely unbelievable and totally unacceptable.

We will make sure to never stop in at Merritt BP again.

If I had the choice of Zero stars that's what I would have liked to give. Bad bad service and sent our food back to the kitchen
