Boston Pizza

We were in Courtenay just for the weekend and with four young children, we stopped by the BP and met Brian.
He was amazing from the minute we met. Left such a good impression with us that we came back the next day. Thank you Brian!

Our server (I’m sorry, I forget your name!) really made our experience this evening. Was prompt without being intrusive and very thoughtful, especially for our youngest as it was his birthday dinner.
Many would do well to follow her example! Special memories for the kids, and a very reasonable expense for us:)

New items on the menu, which I like to see.
The servers hustle there for sure. What they are lacking is a full time bartender.

We had such a great experience at this Boston pizza because our server Manno was so awesome! He was enthusiastic and happy to serve us. Great food as well.

Food was good, but the menu is very dairy heavy. I get that it's a pizza place, but with a sit down atmosphere like that variety is key.

Asked for tropical chicken pizza, was brought pepperoni but ate it anyway.

This review is specifically for our waiter my table had. Manno was our waiter and he was fantasic. He had a very contagious joy to him and he was very funny. Wish I couldve afforded a much bigger tip for him. Hope you get a raise manno, you deserve it big time!

Was slow service, unorganized, and they did not tell us they would be adding 18 % to our bill for each person because we had more than 10 people at our table. We booked in advance and it was not mentioned at time of booking. We would have gone elsewhere.
Definitely not a happy atmosphere while we dined. If was lacking something.
Will be a long while until we go back.

Staff is great. Place packed on a Friday night with 2 huge youth teams as well! Pam the Manager n Eden my server excellent as usual. Ribs nice and tender.

Even though they were severely understaffed the evening we went in, we received great service from our server and food and drinks were great!

Our family ordered Boston pizza for my birthday. The pasta and pizza were good no complaints there. My wife and I ordered chicken sandwiches which contained a rotten piece of lettuce mushy tomato and chicken so tough my wife and I didn’t even eat it. Quality was very poor do not recommend.

I have been going to Boston Pizza for over 40 years. They still make great food. This place is no exception.

Beer was very bitter. Wait staff didn't care. Won't be back. Zero for a tip. Were told we could only sit at the bar because the server was busy on her phone. Ended up at a table, she got off her phone. Rest of staff were attentive to their customers.

We have never had a good meal at any BP. Your pizza is the worst good lord are you not a pizza place, the pizza came missing black olives so she brought us a small dish of olives, the tomato paste was just that dry and awful, then the bill 80.00 can’t support you anymore.

Food is always consistent and the staff is very friendly, well trained and professional. I am not really a sports guy so I can take or leave the sports bar atmosphere but I am sure it is great for some

BP was short staffed on this day but we made reservations for 25. The waitress did an amazing job as serving us and the food came incredibly fast once it was all ordered.

Okay 11months later and well still a low review for bp ‍️. You cant just call a clubhouse a clubhouse when it clearly is NOT! Clubhouse =turkey bacon lettuce tomato bread (toasted) mayo! Not chicken cheese sauce that is NOT a clubhouse

Excellent food and great service. Ordered large half spicy perogy/bourbon BBQ chicken pizza.
Great location and easily accessible.

Service was slow even though there were about 10 members of staff on the floor.
The lady serving our table took our order, but didn't bring us our drinks for 20 min. In that time we had already ate our starter. And she asked a customer behind me if he wanted a drink and came back with it right away. This spurred me to ask where our drinks were. She said they would be a few minutes. She proceeded to do a lap of the building. Then came back with our drinks. I asked what the problem was. Instead of apologizing she came up with excuse after excuse. She told me she was sweating. I told her that was her job. She ran off crying.
Next we had a young blonde server, who slammed my plate on the table and ran away from the table. I asked if I could speak to her manager. She told me she was the manager. I tried to talk to her, but it was pointless. She told me I made the woman fell like she was doing a bad job.
We quickly finished up there and left $150 to be treated with such destain. You have 2 options here. Spend your hard earned money on terrible service or make a complaint and you will be subjected to passive aggressiveness bordering on full on aggression. It was awful.
I have since tried to call the manager there, but the girls that work there seem to be screening the calls for complaints. Don't eat here.

Very fresh, hot, delicious meals. Pasta was full of flavour, fast and friendly service, Large meal portions. Beer Blue Moon was delicious. Chicken pecan salad was very large, good flavour, fresh. Had a good dinner thank-you.

Great staff very kind and good at their jobs, most delicious burger in the city and their pizza bread is to die for and their gravy!

Pizza Royale was just ok. Shrimp on top were overcooked and cold. Side salad was good, more attention to wilted spinach would be appreciated. Didn't finish either.

We just had a fantastic evening with our 4 kids. Our server (Manno) was very quick and efficient with all of our needs. Food was out quickly and tasted great! All very generous portions. Very friendly staff coming in and out. Very impressed with the service this evening. Thanks very much!

Tried to order take out through phone. Was on hold and forgotten about. Tried to place an order online and kept giving me a general error during checkout.

Was just an overall bad experience for a date night. Ended up eating elsewhere.

Best Pizza in Canada (IMHO). It's a pity they do not make BBQ Pork Pizza anymore (I buy BBQ Chicken since BBQ Pork is not available). I love both - filling and crust. The stuff in BP is friendly.

It was blah.
We paid $90.00 and really the only thing we enjoyed out of all the food and including my kids was the lasagna and we had Bandera bread and the kids had some food also but wasn't the greatest.
Filled out the survey and we will see if I will be changing this or not.

The server, Jasmine, was absolutely wonderful and friendly! Answered all of my questions, and then some. If you do go there, be aware they do the "Tip pool" thing, so bring cash if you want to reward your server for being a good host! All in all, a pleasant experience.

What a joke! Horrible service! 3 ladies standing at cash register gossiping amongst themselves and staring at customers while doing so. What a great way to drive people away.most uncomfortable feeling ever being stared at by the 3 workers.

Good easy place for food.
Not the cheapest but affordable.
If you are looking for craft beer, this isn't the place for it.

Food was excellent.service by staff no quite the same as before the covid pandemic. Maybe because they just recently reopened to sit in service.the service of the wait staff fell a little short.but will certainly go again.

The food is good but had a 30 minute wait for 4 people but when a table of 2 became 4 they magically had a table available for them, so not sure why I was waiting

The food is much better than I expected. Normally Boston Pizza has really disgusting food in most cities. The pizza is sometimes cold, and always slimy. Not at this one though. It was pretty good. I was impressed. Mind you, it was my first time going in a decade. Before that I'd been to five of them in different cities in Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba. Not really reliable info for BC I'll admit.
