Boyd is a fantastic place to take your car for any body work or repair. They're communicative, quick to provide an estimate, and work closely with ICBC to make the entire experience seamless. Absolutely recommend.

Despite a very tight schedule, Mami gave me an appointment to fit my needs. She also provided an update and made everything possible to get my car ready as promised. They did an excellent work and were very friendly!

Huge shout out to Peter and his wonderful staff. After my car window was smashed while in Victoria on vacation, they were able to get my car in and window replaced on very short notice. They were very helpful and saved us a lot of hassle. Not only did they fix the window but did a very good job cleaning it inside and out.

I would highly recommend you take your business elsewhere if you’re looking for a body shop. The folks here are highly sexist, I had to bring my husband to get them to take me seriously and complete the work that ICBC paid them for. Not only are they sexist, but they’re a bunch of crooks. They tried to get me to pay out of pocket for things that are covered by my insurance, as I wasn’t at fault for my accident. When I spoke to ICBC about this they were appalled and they dealt with it on their end. The estimator used the phrase “that’s suspicious…. ” when I explained what I was dealing with. My bumper was improperly aligned, they admitted to attempting to “double sided tape” by emblem onto my car, and they painted my grill and emblem holder the wrong colour, which was ultimately fixed after 3 attempts. The manager was very defensive and strange when confronted about it, and refused to admit to the mistake of painting it the wrong colour. After bringing it in 3 times for a simple front bumper repair, it’s arguably worse than before I started the repair process. Be diligent and wary if you’re currently dealing with them, and sadly, especially as a female.

Boyds was so easy to deal with after someone hit my car. Front office staff were lovely and I really appreciated them keeping me updated when I had to wait a bit when dropping off. Awesome customer service all around. My car looks great.

We were on a tight time frame for a family vacation. They were fast, friendly, and reliable. Paint and body work are excellent.

I had a positive experience with this company during my window replacement. They were punctual, arriving on time as scheduled. The installation process was quick and efficient, and the team demonstrated precision in their work. I am satisfied with the end result and would recommend their services.

I have used Boyds many times and their service and quality of their work is excellent. I would recommend them as highly as possible.

Speaking upon this location in particular: 540 John St, Victoria, BC V8T 1T6. Everyone was fairly nice and knew what they were doing. Front desk was EXTREMELY helpful and nice. Had honestly the worst customer service from the manager M****n. Specifically for that reason I'll never recommend this branch to ANYONE. He was fast to take my money but as soon as he took it he actively ignored me for months. I needed a quote from him on other damages beyond the repair he did so I could book in for the next job. He did a sub-par job, and actually cost me more then the competitors I priced out on the job he did do. I chose to go with him specifically because he was kind, I thought he could be my auto body tech for future work and I thought he would at least help me beyond treating me just like a job which he failed to do. Took months of me pestering and calling repetitively in order to get any answers that would take 10 seconds to respond to. Fortunately he showed me who he was before I let him do anymore work. 0 stars if I could. Hands down worst experience I've had with any business ever.

Edit: I can't comment back to the owner response but they have not tried contacting me. They have all of my info. They have not called, they have not left a voicemail, they have not emailed me back. I emailed another question to the manager Nov 12th, 2022. It is now Jan 26th, 2023 and they have yet to respond 2.5 months later. This is how it was after paying the manager. The only reason I got any answers was because a month and half without response I got fed up and called them pestering the front desk every other day trying to get him to finish the work he had with me. I wanted to get all the information I needed from them and that I paid for. He wouldn't finish my quote or answer simple questions following payment. Completely different experience before and after paying him. 0 stars again. The company JUST RIGHT NOW tried to deflect my review by stating I'm the one lacking the ability to respond or call them. If that doesn't show lack of ownership, idk what does. Last time I think of Boyd for any work. I don't want Boyd to contact me any further unless it's for refund. That was a plain insult to my character and lie to the public. Not the type of company I'll support any further.

Marni and Steph do such a wonderful job up front:) they quoted me a great price on having my windshield done. I went through with it, picked up my car and they even cleaned it which was an amazing surprise (Thank you). I will be recommending Boyd’s in the future!

The team at Boyd’s really go the extra mile. I needed a rear passenger window glass for an older car. They stopped manufacturing new glass so I had to find used. The team at Boyd’s did the leg work and found the glass for me, In Alberta, had it shipped here and installed for less than my insurance deductible. They are first class.

Had an icbc claim after hitting a deer. Peter and his team promptly assessed my vehicle and had the damage fixed. Whole process was transparent. Truck came back much cleaner then how I left it. Would highly recommend, 5 stars!
