Exceptional service. Ryan an estimator did me a solid that I truly appreciate. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Hands down the best autobody shop with outstanding service. The man who helped me (I forget his name) was SO helpful, kind, patient, and went out of his way to tell me how to deal with a situation with a coolant leak that was unrelated to service from the bodyshop. Not going anywhere else but here anymore.

The actual body work and repairs are well done - no complaints there.
My frustration is terrible communication - after booking us in for photos / quotes it took almost a month to hear back when we were told to expect a call within the week. Then we were told a long story about how our car might be written off etc etc.when not 3 days later I got a call saying they had all the parts for my repair in the shop and needed to book it in ASAP. So disorganized.
Upon picking it up - body work was great but there is a sticky film all over the car and windshield that I have spent hours trying to remove. They also forgot to bolt the license plate back on. Overall sloppy detailing job that detracted from satisfaction.
Won’t be coming back or recommending this location to anyone.

For some unfortunate reason, my 1998 4Runner has been rear-ended twice and cut off once, all in the last 4 years. Each incident was an ICBC claim that Boyd looked after.

The latest repair was from a rear-ender that took out the rear right quarter panel and bumper. With COVID, labour and parts shortages, they had my vehicle for a month, but I did have a really nice loaner rental car which they and ICBC provided. Ryan always kept me updated on the body work and repairs. His honestly did not go unnoticed. Ryan's colleagues and his service are A+ in my books. They did a beautiful job cutting out the old quarter panel and seamlessly replaced it with a salvaged, but clean quarter panel. The new paint didn't take well on the first go, so Ryan insisted that it be redone property as if it were his own vehicle. I really appreciate the care and time Ryan took to oversee my vehicle.

First time, someone bent my door to break in but the repair was so quick they refused to charge me so I wouldn't have to worry about my deductible. I have always been grateful for that.

I was rear ended and it doesn't look like the car was ever damaged after they fixed it.

Last time, I came in to repair paint + dent to my driver door and they finished earlier then expected. Door looks brand new. Thanks.

Stopped by the shop today at 11am for advice on my vehicle and what I thought was overspray from a nearby building. Sam was super helpful and friendly, took a look at my car without an appointment. Within 15 minutes he had everything cleaned up, he explained it was sap from trees as well as some paint overspray. My car looks like nothing happened. Definitely a WOW experiance from Boyd 1111 W 73rd Ave. Will be back in the future with any issues.

The service is terrific. I was greeted by a very friendly and informative gentleman, Jackson. He allayed any concerns I had. I'm sure that the outcome will be more than satisfactory.

Excellent, friendly service. I had my SUV booked for a 9: 00 Monday morning drop-off (rear window replacement), but found out on the weekend I'd need my vehicle and its trailer hitch for a couple of hours that morning. I phoned Monday first thing to let them know this, and expected a guilt trip at least, and a demand to reschedule at worst. They completely took it in stride and accommodated. This kind of flexibility and good faith is rare in the auto service/repair world, in my experience.

The outer handle on our truck's tailgate wouldn't work anymore and as such, our truck bed was locked with no access. The dealership wouldn't even give me a quote. Only a quote for their hourly rate to even give me a quote. Then Boyd popped into my mind. They had done such great work when our neighbour drove into our truck one snowy night. I wondered if I would get the same great service if I was paying for the repair myself. They were friendly, happy to see me, gave a very fair quote on the spot and kept to their word when I took my vehicle in when the part arrived. That and the repair is fantastic. Quite honestly, this was the best experience I've ever had with any car. Plus, they warranty their work? Wow. These people are really, really quality. I will be back for anything I need in the future.

Called and booked an estimate, got in within a few days. Upon bringing my vehicle in, Jackie did a thorough estimate, came back with a reasonable price, and had my vehicle ready within a few hours. I was very impressed with their service and value. Will definitely recommend this location to my friends and family. 5/5

The customer service at Boyd Autobody & Glass was exceptional. Easy to get an appointment and a hassle free experience. Stepped out for a coffee and 30 min later it was all done. The guys were great - very friendly and helpful. Will continue to come back here in the future

Windshield crack was filled quickly by professional staff. My questions were answered without being rushed out the door. Although there is a slight roughness on impact spot I am satisfied with their service and avoided an ins deductible to replace it.

Jackie repaired 3 chips in my windscreen today. Very friendly and professional and did a great job! Would 100% recommend.

I took my car to Boyd on 73rd Ave.for a windshield replacement in July, 2020. They said they would call me when the replacement windshield arrived. They did not. I called them, then all of a sudden, they said I could come in any time. When I scheduled the date, I asked how long it would take. Approx. 4 hrs, they said. So I asked if I dropped off the car at 8am, it should be ready by noon? They said 'yes'. Ok, on the scheduled day, I dropped it off at 8am and again asked if it'll be ready by noon. Again, they said 'yes'. Now the real problem begins. At noon, I call them to ask if my car is ready.and they say it'll take ANOTHER 2 hrs because their window guy came in late, so it ended up taking 6 hrs. Now I'm mad, because not only will it cost me more of my time, NO ONE at Boyd bothered to call me earlier and say it would be longer. Totally unprofessional. Boyd says they "value" feedback? Well, I gave them my feedback, and not a single response from them at all.
Will I go back to Boyd? No.

I had a crack on my windshield from a rock hitting the glass on the highway. I spoke with Jackie at Boyd who was extremely professional. Him and his team really went above and beyond to cater to my request throughout the service. Jackie always made sure to keep me updated regarding estimates and parts. I was able to get my windshield fixed within the day; they also washed and polished the car which was great! Overall, I highly recommend!

They repaired my car very well and quick. And, Jackie Tso is really helpful since he know how to save money for custom. Also, they provided a replacement car for that period. I definitely recommend this shop for car body repair.

I brought my car in to have the windshield replaced. The service was quick and efficient. They are professional and went above and beyond for the service. I got a call at my lunchtime that the car was ready, and a big surprise, it was also detailed inside and washed! I definitely recommend.

Jackie spoke with me on the phone about my broken trunk wires, I could not open the trunk & I needed it fixed ASAP, the fit me in the same day. The staff wear masks, are very clean, professional & quick, I was very happy with the service.

When a rock from a truck chipped my windshield on the way to work, I was quite upset as I recently had it replaced. After work I immediately took it to Boyd for repair and was happy that they could take care of it right away. I also appreciated being provided with a mask so I could wait in the office while the work was done. Very professional and courteous staff and a job well done.

at $1300. The actual bill was $1300.18! Hard to believe

When I dropped off my car I told Rose Kumar I’d call an auto detailer from nearby to pick it up around noon. It badly needed a cleaning before my road trip in the morning – with passengers.
When that didn’t work out I resigned to doing it myself, as I usually would if I had the time.
Imagine my surprise when I returned. When no detailers had shown up by mid-afternoon, Rose had the guys in the back give it a nice wash and interior vac. It was sparkly! Six Stars for Boyd Autobody and Glass!

I cannot explain further as to how happy and grateful I am for the works that Robin has done for my car's needs. He went above and beyond to accomodate my schedule. Car repair was done in a timely manner. Thanks to John for a job very well done.

What a waste of time!

This was my first experience going to a collision repair shop and I have to say, BOYD was FANTASTIC. Rose was VERY professional and took care of everything for me. I called several shops to repair my broken window prior and unfortunately none of them were able to find a replacement window for me, as I guess it's an uncommon window (coupe quarter panel) and the car manufacture had a 4-6 week backorder apparently, but BOYD was able to find one in Calgary and overnight shipped it. After they got the part, they called me to schedule an appointment next day and that was that. When I picked up my car I saw the window was perfect, they did a superb job cleaning the interior and while they were at it, they buffed out a big scratch I had on my bumper at no extra charge, which I was ecstatic about. Will definitely go there again the next time around, which I hope isn't anytime soon. Thank you Rose and everyone that worked on my car!

Super thankful that Robin got back to out late inquiry early in the morning through email and phone. We had a lot of appointments already for the day, and having to repair a trunk window really impacted things. But Robin made it super easy, answered all our questions, gave us options, and even let us pet the puppy. My parents picked up the car later and had no complaints.

I took my Highlander in to get a scrape buffed off the side. I'd already called the Van Craftsman Collision and they offered an estimate appointment 4 weeks out. The same company in Richmond quoted in the thousands and wanted me to leave the car for "at least a week". I explained that I was just looking to have the mark buffed off but they made me feel stupid for even asking and were very condescending. I stopped by Boyd Autobody on my way home and the experience couldn't have been more different. Peter Li was kind, understanding and offered to do the work right away! I couldn't stay but when I went back, Robin offered to do the work in 2 days time; and this was during the very busy pre-Christmas season! I can't say enough about the service excellence and just the plain old kindness and respect I received from everyone I dealt with here. Don't bother going anywhere else. You'll never find better service or higher quality work than at Boyd Autobody in Vancouver.
