Braidwood Tavern

This is a restaurant that I will visit every time I come to Whistler. It’s very comfortable to have brunch alone

Spend the weekend in whistler staying at the four season, had breakfast lunch and dinner at the brainwood through the stay overall was good, few time had few items been forgotten and charged, but overall the food and service was great everyone was very nice and polite.

Came in for mimosa’s and light bites, service was amazing. Our server Travis was very friendly and accommodating. The restaurant is very beautiful and has an amazing view of the breathtaking mountains and four seasons courtyard. The manager Marco went above and beyond to make our service rememberable and outstanding. Will definitely be coming back and requesting to have these two serve me again!

We have lived in whistler for a year, tonight was the first night we have visited Braidwood and what can I say about this venue.okay yes. It’s in the four seasons so of-course the food and atmosphere is 10/10.

However, I wanted to take the time out to write this review specifically because of our server Mike.

Mike was full of good energy from the get go; he absolutely shined with kindness and we could both tell it wasn’t just put on but rather just who he was as a person.

I truly hope this restaurant knows how amazing this server Mike is. He told us how much he loves his job and we believed every word (not common).

I myself have worked 10 years in hospitality including management and I do not say this to brag, I say this to get across my point that Mike absolutely made our experience what it was with his intoxicating personality.

Thank you. Not only will we be back but we will recommend to all.

We’ve stayed over a week. Family of 3 kids, a baby and 2adults) My kids were always well behaved but aside from Sidecut staff we always got an unwelcoming attitude from some staff and Management. This morning was the worst. Having breakfast, the table next to my wife (couple) were getting service while she was being ignored. When the Asian manager asked the couple if everything was alright she berated him & pointed out my wife with the baby needed help. Manager then went to criticize the server (which didn’t help improve our dining experience) I came in later to join my wife and I also felt uneasy w/ how the server was treating us (trying to flag her but she goes & pours water to other guests) and the Manager should be attending to EVERYONE. Not to shove families in the back so others won’t be bothered. Food quality was average to good

Service has definitely improved. Different Manager came over to our table this morning to ask about service. The only thing was that the pricing is extremely high. A bowl of cereal and milk costs $11! With 3 adults, one child & toddler, the cost including toddler who barely ate was $200+. Astonishing. Food selection quite minimal for lunch & dinner too. Suggest Management to adjust.

We came in during slow season so we can see staff who look bored and nothing to do.

I hate leaving bad reviews but for inside the four seasons, I expected so much better. The food here is mediocre at best. We came here because they offered a full vegan menu, but honestly the prices are insanely high for what you get. I ordered a grilled cheese off the vegan menu and was shocked to see it cost $28.it wasn’t even grilled on both sides and the tomatoes were cut so thick and uneven it looked like they slapped it together in 30 seconds.

There are so many other places in Whistler for the same price (even less) that are substantially better. I would not return.

The servers are sweet and attentive tho, and the patio is gorgeous.

Super overpriced for what it is - 14$ for a mocktail, 28$ feature cocktails (1.5 oz), and the 14 beer flight only has 13 beers on it and they are all quite mediocre. There are so many better places in whistler to go that i would avoid going here in future.

Upscale and modern type of tavern in a nice quiet area of town. It is the Four season so little more pricey than your usual tavern. The food was excellent and we had a great service by Josephine.

Loved this place the last time we came and still do. Having a separate vegan menu is fantastic, every dish we had has been good. Cocktails are also pretty good here and the cocktail story book is cute. The green pita is delicious but when they had it as a pizza I think it was even better! They did forget an ingredient on ours but they ended up removing that dish off the bill. Overall we always been satisfied here and the outdoor patio is beautiful. Always recommend this place.

Great place for afternoon casual dinning and spirits. The drinks are imaginative and well balanced with perfect blend of new and old classics. If you like a good Gin cocktail try the "lost in translation" you won't be disappointed.

For many years the Four seasons Whistler hosted an amazing outdoor summer bbq series that was hugely popular. Wide range of meats and fish, salads and different desserts every week. Unfortunately the hotel has decided this year to completely change the concept to a Spanish themed paella night that just isn’t the same. For the type of options provided it just doesn’t compare too other restaurants in town and what made the original bbq unique is gone.

Don’t fix something that isn’t broken.

Staff were very friendly, atmosphere on the patio was fantastic and the food was good enough to get us to come for two dinners.

Update: Our first restaurant experiences summer of 2022 lead us to return to the four seasons hotel for our winter ski vacation March 2023. There was no question in our mind that we wanted to return to the Braidwood and try the hotel based on our previous dinning experiences. This is a great example of what given someone great service can lead to. I’m now loyal to whistler four seasons hotel and the Braidwood. We hope to return again winter 2024. Thank you for the great service and hospitality, simply remarkable.

I went with a group to the El Patio experience and had a wonderful experience. The Spanish tapas were great, as a group we were able to share all of the options, which were amazing. The three types of paella were also great, the seafood one was my personal favourite. All for $56!

They have a separate vegan menu! And the chilli cheese skillet nachos were amazing! Service was top notch and the flights of local crafts were all so good. Would definitely go again. The only thing is tables and chairs are unusually low (slightly uncomfortable) and it wasn't really a "tavern" feel. But this was not a deal breaker. Also, it's a lovely walk from the main village to get there and back.

Delicious food, great atmosphere! Always enjoy visiting Braidwood Tavern when at Whistler. Had the mussels and bbq chicken flatbread. Appreciated the fabulous service! Thanks James! Great chatting with you about Whistler and some hiking places. It’s obvious James is knowledgeable about the food and wine and enjoys his job! Had such a great time, I forgot to take photos.

Stopping serving brunch at 11am on a Sunday is psycho behaviour. Said we couldn’t order brunch as brunch dishes are still being brought to other tables?

Marco, the manager, went above and beyond as well as servers Charlotte and Sumer. Great food and drinks.
