You can consult the cruise arrival guide in season, approximately from April to November. At the closest end of the breakwater there are a couple of places with something hot to drink and eat. On the side of the lighthouse there are seats to relax.

Nice place for a walk lovely views. It can be very busy at times so if you can, go on weekdays and off season.

You can walk to the Ogden Dam and Lighthouse in less than 10 minutes from Victoria Fisherman's Wharf. Along the way, you can see the clear water and swarms of small fish. There are mural on the dam and it seems that it has gone through a lot of changes and many people. Running, walking, and foreigners playing in the water on such a cold day, hahaha

The lighthouse is beautiful, the path to get to it is very easy and the place is spectacular.

Beautiful walk along the water. Lovely spot to look out and enjoy the view. Beautiful murals along the walk.

It was super neat to go out to the lighthouse! There were waves, as it was a windy evening, and had a great view of the sunset.

Very nice walk on the breakwater. Wonderful view in all directions. It was pretty cold when we walked there on 11/28. Ample parking and free.

A perfect spot in downtown Victoria for early morning walks, morning runs or just for some sight seeing with breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean, sea gulls and if you are lucky orcas passing by. Absolutely must visit in Victoria for all. One can see the marine vessels passing by from the lighthouse. Although can get momentarily noisy from the sound of helicopters taking off near by.

Awesome lighthouse at the end of the breakwater; the walk isn't all too far, definitely worth it to stroll and enjoy the views, water, wind. Perfect spot for a clear sunset view.

It was extremely windy getting out there but we got to see the lighthouse and some cruiseships. It was a nice enough day to see accross to the United States.
