They have a large variety of baked goods. Something for everyone. We got desserts this time around. Prices are reasonable.

Terrible service.

I ordered a tiramisu online to pick up. It took them 25 mins to give me my order. I think they lost the order of the customer before me and they couldn't find mine? Most incompetent and ridiculous experience ever.

Very tasty bakery, definitely recommend the apple fritter, not excessively sweet like those at Tim Hortons. The store is busy as well, expect a small lineup. Staffs were friendly.

This is the best coffee shop & bakery i’ve ever been to! The Pumpkin Spice Latte is better than Starbucks! The pie they have and donuts are unbeatable! Best place to chill in in Vancouver if you’re down for something sweet or if you got a sweet tooth like me! Definitely worth the try. I highly recommend! Only downside is that they have only 2-seats tables which doesn’t fit my family of 5

The sausage rolls and the bienenstich is literally the best I’ve ever had. Reminds me of my omas cooking. We drive from abbotsford just for it. Worth the drive lol

Been ordering here for a while. Some of their baked goods are surprisingly good for a franchised business. However, service is inconsistent. Today, for example, staff were taking orders from people who just walked in, ahead of others who had been waiting further up in line. No apology or attempt to correct when this mistake was pointed out to them. A number of people in line understandably walked out. They'd get a higher rating from me if they could correct such service issues.

I was soooo excited to come home and eat my chocolate chip cookie and the worker didn’t bag it. So sad. Almost like it was intentional. She was so rude from the moment I walked in. So disappointed.

Their lineups are so confusing and disorganized. I was literally at the front of the line ready to order an iced mocha and the cashier kept looking through me and letting someone else from the sidelin order first. It was weird and creepy lol - how she just kept looking through me like I didn't even exist or was invisible.

So apparently therr are 2 lines. The first one straight towards the counter (the one I was in front of) is for those who ordered online or are ready to order - which I was. The other line goes from the right side along the bakeries glass display for those who are still choosing what they want.

Breka is always good. I picked up cookies, a cheesecake, and donuts. The cheesecake was more ricotta based than a New York style. It was nice that it was not as sweet. Everything here is always good.

Great place! Has some European feeling inside with really tasty sandwiches and drinks.

Tried the Hedgehog Mocha and the German chocolate cake slice, the mocha was perfect and so was the cake!

I walked in and was greeted warmly by the people working there. They let me try anything I wanted, even the ones that they were low on or didn't have a lot of left! They're really friendly.

Pretty good. The baked goods are awesome. The coffee drinks aren't the best, but decent. Service is usually good.

Delicious Hannukah Donuts. Great service at the on 4th location. They got the flow going well. Love Breka!

Great place I use to come here all the time it's something like Adriatic Divine Sandwiches. Love European shops

Hi there, I came around 1 am at store, The cookie section Where you guys have almond ones, pie and alot other stuff there were Fungus Gnats (small flies) on the pie and Cookies, i called one of employee and told if they could remove few food items as they were sitting on food (pie, cookies), instead she Came and yelled DO YOU WANT ANY ITEMS OR NOT, as its time of covid i hope we all are suppose to be safe especially with food items. When my Friend tried to make video, She came across runnig and Yelled CAN YOU PLEASE PAY NOW!
Im not here for refund or free food, But please Let your employees know about the hygiene and safety techniques to be followed at food store especially when an customer sees something bad. And for sure They don’t doo these things at home with their children and their food, Then why at workplace with customers and food?

The pastries and other baked goods are always great, but they really need to get a second till up or get more organized as the line ups are brutal. Everyone is running around non stop but it takes forever to serve a single person.

Used to be a regular spot for bread. Great fresh bakery products. The bannoffee pie is ABSOLUTELY mindblowingly good.

The food is just as good as any other Breka. But it's not in the best area to be a 24 hour spot.

Most of the time busy, staff polite, price average medium to high.

They are all open 24/7 which is huge advantage

Beautiful little bakery and coffee shop! Went today for the first time and love the options! Delicious treats, staff is friendly and welcoming. Very clean, instant new favorite spot!

Everything was delicious! Wanted to try one of Everything. I had the grilled cheese and brought home the veggies in a pastry like wrap. Also had the carmel machiato cheese cake! Service was fast and friendly! Highly recommend and bonus open 24 hour

Unfortunately haven't had the chance of visiting this Breka branch personally but have ordered several times through Uber Eats and plan to continue doing so!

So far we've enjoyed donuts, muffins, cake and babka's! The babka is incredibly rich and delicious, though we've not really tasted any walnut as it states in the description. The carrot walnut muffin and the chocolate banana pudding loaf were both very moist and delicious.

The only reason for 4 stars is the London Fog donut was so sugary and sweet it didn't really have a flavour and hurt our teeth.

We stayed at a B&B on 49th and discovered the Breka Bakery. We went every day of the week we spent in Vancouver. I want to go back just so I can get more of those delicious baked goods. Please expand to Halifax.

Ordered the matcha cream cake. Tested really good. Also recommend the black forest mocha coffee! And yes the attached picture is an actual chocolate eclair pastry photo from the shop. Who came up with the design?

Busy bakery, some time out of products specially cakes but curious crew.washroom is non hygenic most of the time this is the only complaint.

Superb European breads. The speed of service however is epically slow. I have waited 20 min.to buy a loaf of bread and with nine people behind the counter. These guys need to reorganize their space and add a second cash register.

Horrible customer service.

My mother ordered me a vegan muffin and double-checked with two employees that it was indeed vegan. She bought it after they confirmed it was. The receipt also reflected that it was vegan.

Yet, for some reason, the muffin that was given to us was not vegan. I only found out when I decided to look at the website for an unrelated reason (at this point, I’d eaten around half of the muffin). It was absolutely heartbreaking to find out it wasn’t. I usually double-check myself, but this time I trusted them to get it right.

Upon going back, the employees at first tried shrugging it off even after we mentioned that I am vegan. For some reason, there was not a manager present, so the employees tried to deal with it by just giving me the vegan muffin. (I’d like to point out that there wasn’t really an apology at this point.) We had to ask for a refund plus the vegan muffin. Even at the end, the employee who’d made the mistake did not fully accept her fault and responded with “yeah, yeah, yeah” when my mother and I talked about how big of a deal this was for me.

As someone who’s been going to Breka’s all my life, this was really disappointing. It also ruined a very important personal moment for me - one that I can’t just redo.

All in all, this event, coupled with some other not-so-great experiences at Breka’s, has led me to no longer trust this establishment. I will not be returning.

Breka is so good! But if you don't like the taste of soap do not get the lavender latte. It tastes like dishwater. Everything else though.amazing.

On top of the delicious food that they offer, the service is amazing. I was on my motorcycle and needed to put everything in my bag pack so they wrapped the food very well for me.
I've tried lots of different things and love pretty much everything they make. Tuna melt is my favorite

Where else are you gonna find a quality legit cake, pastry, sandwich, donut, and all in one Cafe and boulangerie that is open 24/7? I was literally able to have a fresh, creamy, strawberry shortcake at 1am. It was fluffy with perfectly whipped cream. They even sell fritatas and chicken pot pies!

The chocolate custard donut was just average and comparable to a Boston cream in taste and quality at Tim Hortons, but the cakes are well made and well packaged. This place stands out because they take time out of the factor as a limitation so you can have access to quality fancy cravings 24/7 opposed to going to fast food chains. It's literally like the Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe at Disneyland but open 24/7:)

Have ordered from here multiple times. Everything I've gotten has been on point and even with food delivery the quality has been excellent.

Rude staff, They forced me to wear mask even if its not mendatory after july 1st. Staff said its their own rule, you have to or you have to exit. Are you guys above government, I used to wear mask all the time when it was mendatory but its not now. Also it could be said in a nice way, ladies need to know what customer service actually means.

This is the OG location. Started from the bottom, now we at the top; with multiple location across town. Good selection of deliciousness

Still a classic but my recent experiences at this location have not been as good as I remember. The cream puff we had tasted a little stale. I also preferred the previous bocconcini panini - it felt much larger, and the focaccia bread was a better fit. I hope the folks in charge of the commissary consider going back to the old recipe. The coffee remains solid as always.

What more do you want from a 24 hour quality bakery? ! Could the service have been a bit quicker? Yes, but then again, I wasn't in a rush to go anywhere at 1am in the morning. Neither was anyone else in line! The selection is insane for what you expect to get from an 24 hour bakery.like donuts, cream puffs, sandwiches and cake? ! Come on! There will be about a one minute walk if you can't snag the few parking spots on the street in front but trust me it is worth it. They allow dine in right now but I enjoyed my donuts and cream puff in my car and it was the same amount of deliciousness

Used to like the bread. But now it is getting saltier and saltier.
Too much sodium is bad for the heart and we are supposed to cut back on sugar and salt.

Can't get an order of cookies correct and informed me I should have pre-order the cake, like I was ridiculous not to, that I have been getting for the better part of 6 years without fail.

Very good baked goods at reasonable price. Kind of like Bread Garden but the food taste more home made.

Breka has always been one of my favorite bakery. Their cakes and pastries are rich and delicious. The staff is very cool and helpful.

Currently, proper COVID precautions are being maintained. They have limited the number of customers in the store.

Overall, i will highly recommend you all to visit here once.

Went today to get some desserts. The staff were friendly and super efficient. The lineup moved fast and we were helped quickly. My partner got donuts and I got cake-all yummy. They said since we spent over $20, we could get any loaf of bread for free (except banana bread) so we got a loaf of rye:) That might be a limited time offer though, I didn't pay too much attention. Overall a happy experience.

This bakery is my favourite place to go in Vancouver. I usually don't drink coffees much but, their coffees are so good. And, the cookies are so fresh and soft with very sweet and delicious taste. Their cakes are also my favourite. I usually buy all birthday and anniversary cakes from them. Talking about customer service, they literally value their customers. It's quite busy bakery, but really worth waiting in line up.

I disagree with the shepherds pie in particular being “excellent value” at UberEats. Perhaps I’m not up to date on how much shepherds pie is worth on avg for their portion. If anything, my $2.40 cake topper never made it sadly and after using the app support have been refunded its cost. The plastic bag and packing for the smoothie wasn’t very secure, although it’s difficult to ascertain whose fault it is, fact is the smoothie spilled a quarter of its contents. Thank you for the good quality food and the sustainable packaging.

I love going at this place. A red velvet pastry with a good coffee. That makes my day memorable. 24/7 makes it more interesting. Also, their chocolate shake is good too.

Nice cosy place with lots of bakery goods. Saw the high ratings and expected amazing quality goods but the food is average at best.

24 Hour Coffee, Dessert and Students Studying Place. Can be Busy Here, Seating is at a Premium, Especially during Exam Weeks. Otherwise Desserts are Good, Coffee is Good and Both are Consistent in always tasting the Same. Break has a Few Other Places in Town as Well. Good Job Expanding a Good Thing.

First time being here and loved the strawberry shortcake that was soft and fluffy, yet light and not too sweet. The staff are friendly and nice. Will definitely try to come back for other desserts/coffee.

The original! Their cheesecake is incredible and their panini's are amazing. Many a late night have been spent here studying.

Breka's Bakery is an amazing little German cafe that has the best desserts and pastries. The do everything in house & make breads, cakes, cookies, pies, danishes & more. They've nailed the presentation of their foods. They do have wifi, it's right in front of a bus stop so it is an easy transit ride but their main pull has to be the fact that they're a 24hour joint! They make excellent smoothies & lattes, not to sure about the coffees.

Very dishonest staff, they confirmed this Russian rye bread was baked yesterday. However, it was not true because they just wanted to sell it.

We used to be a regular customer at Breka Bakery & Cafe hadn’t been in quite sometime, was very excited to buy a poppy seeds cake. So disappointed, they must of changed the recipes from individual recipes to one main recipe for all cakes. The poppy seeds were bitter and absolutely not any where near the quality they used to be.

Small store having many small tables in a clean environment offers variety of desserts and sandwiches, some at higher price for the same quality.

Loved the strudel. Poppy seed loaf (?) was not as impressive. Yummy cookies.my husband and son love the donuts. Individual cakes were also good but they did not have black forest which is my favorite, as a single serving this time. It is always busy in here and sometimes I feel rushed to order. Even so, will be back.

Though it is always crowded, it's for a reason! Good costumer service and always good food. Although they never fill my coffees all the way.

Drinks and food is always great.just sometimes theres a few flies but you can't do too much about it.

They have earl grey shortbreads! Best if enjoyed with tea as they are dry.

Spicy chicken panini is flavourful. Doesn't taste spicy to me, but I can eat very spicy food.

Really cute place. I like it at night when it's quiet and I can eat a donut without anybody looking at me eating a donut if you know what I mean. Reasonably priced compared to Starbuck's across the street.
