I went there because they said there was a Korean manager, but he didn't seem to be there, or perhaps because he didn't buy a car. He seemed friendly on the outside, but he pretended to be extremely busy and stayed away from me. The worn-out manager is so obvious. Anyway, I went to another dealer and bought a 2024 X1. Is there such a thing? I didn't feel bad directly, but I felt ignored and put down, so I didn't like this place.

I have recently purchased a x5 from Brian Jessel. The experience was a great one. I would like to have a special thanks to Nelson and Scott for their kind cooperation for creating such a family culture and a special thank to Anson who helped me a lot with his patience and cooperation. Even though the car broke down after a week due to motor starter issue, Anson who is a great sales guy helped me a lot by taking further responsibilities to sort out the issue. He arranged, all needed to fix the car. He Replied to all my questions which motivated me to officially thank him for his support and dedication to his job. Absolutely horrible customer service by sales associate Anson. Horrible attitude thinks he knows better than other people. Avoid him!

I know for a fact Brian jessel hold a high standard to customer satisfaction and this person falls well below the expectation. Definitely lost a sale from me because of him.

I recently had an extremely unsatisfactory experience at a Brian Jessel BMW.

I approached BJ BMW to order a brand-new X3 about two years ago. However, when the car delivered, it was not the one I had ordered, my disappointment grew substantially. The car they ordered for me was vastly different from what I had specifically requested. Not only did it have different options, but it also had a different exterior color and seat color. Shockingly, the salesperson and the dealership refused to acknowledge their mistake or assist me in ordering the correct vehicle. They callously informed me that I would have to wait an additional seven months for another car.

To add to my frustration, I had opted for a leasing on my X3. However, the car they mistakenly provided came with a significantly higher price tag and monthly payment than what we had agreed upon. This unscrupulous behavior left me feeling like I had been deceived by BJ BMW

Fast forward two years, when it was time to return the leased car. The dealership used a multitude of excuses to impose numerous unnecessary charges on me. When all was said and done, I ended up paying an extra $1,900 + taxes upon the conclusion of the two years lease period.

My experience with Brian Jessel BMW left me deeply dissatisfied and disheartened. Their dishonest and lack of accountability throughout this process was nothing short of disappointing. I would strongly advise potential customers to exercise caution and consider alternative options before engaging with this BMW dealership.

They change conditions as they go. Initially, they ask for one amount of the deposit. Then they change it. This pledge is needed, as they told me, for not exporting. They ask for exorbitant deposits. Are they a bank? Is it legal at all? Don't go there, very poor service.

Month ago, we sent our car to do service, because the brake light was on. We thought we can get our car back in the same day which is Friday. Unfortunately we were told has to wait one more day, so they provided us a courtesy car before our car is done. Soon afterwards, we drove the car away, until the next day which is Saturday afternoon 5: 50pm. (10 mins before the store closed) We received a call from the service department. We were told they changed our 4 brakes at the same time which will cost $ 3300 for repairing. We said we need to see the paper in details, how come the four brakes need to change at the same time. As we all know this is a 2021 X5! We barely drive this car during Covid period. However, The guy told us, they are closing soon. If we don’t pay for the whole amount, we have to return the courtesy car in 10 mins. (That is so ridiculous!) Otherwise we have to pay extra for the courtesy car. We trusted the Brian Jessel, Then we paid the service fee first without seeing any paper. And was thinking to get a reasonable explanation later. But when we call back around 5: 56pm ask for whether they can send the invoice by email. They store is already closed, nobody pick up the phone. So we left a message about our situation. The next Monday, we received a phone call from the receptionist. She told us they will follow up. Unfortunately, we have been waiting for the response almost a month, haven’t received any call back. So disappointed! We have been having BMW cars for 15 years with Brain Jessel At boundary road location. It is first time we felt we were forced to make a decision in 10 mins! Really doubt how this top sale branch can countinely provide their services! And felt so unconfident to recommend any friends and family to purchase any BMW cars here.

I’ve literally called 3 times to find out about the details of an extended warranty they tried so hard to sell me last year. No one off the phone can provide and always got the same response that someone will call me back -no one has tried to reach me. Customer service is lacking once they get the sale.

I would not recommend Brian Jessel. Service is unacceptable. I had an X3 for 4 yrs and now the X5 for almost 3 yrs. I live 8 hrs from the nearest bmw store. I recently was going to have my tires rotated at a local business and they told me I should not be driving because the tires are separating. The car only has 40,000kms and I use winter tires in the winter. I attempted to contact bmw several times with my issue. It has been almost two weeks since my initial email to bmw and have not heard a response. I had to order new tires and be without my vehicle for two weeks as it wasn’t safe to drive. Shame on you BMW! Selling new vehicles with bad tires and not owning up to it. My lease will be up in a year and I was hoping to get the X6. After this terrible service, I will not be purchasing another BMW at all. Very disappointed.

Not very happy with our post purchase treatment. Needs oil change 2 weeks into ownership. Ok we got over that. Then faulty door handle meaning no keyless entry. Not covered under certified pre-owned or the extended warranty. Basically we’re on the hook for a couple grand, and they refuse to help us in any way. Never been treated like this at any dealership. Will not shop here again.

Did not have a good experience here with Ryan Li. I made an appointment to see him regarding a pre-owned BMW. When I got there, I was asked by the receptionist to wait a few minutes for him to come. 20 minutes go by before one of his sales associates comes to tell me he isn't here. I sit down with the associate to discuss which car I came for, he does a search and finds this car is not available.

I wish Ryan communicated this to me before I drove 50 min and then an additional 20 min waiting. From the start, this car was not listed on Brian Jessel's website, but I trusted his word that it is available.

WORST BMW dealership ever. Their parts and services department are terrible. Often times they require follow up calls and don’t get back to you when you leave a message. My car has also had multiple recalls a few years ago and they didn’t have the parts, put me on a list and never called me back. I had to keep calling to eventually get it booked, years after the recall letter was sent to me. I don’t understand how they are so hard to reach…. I’ve heard similar about the sales team and about their high turnover from people that have worked there. If you’re gonna go BMW, choose a different dealership.

Note that my original review from 2012 was a 5 star review. Since then, I leased 2 different vehicles from this location. I was in the market for a 3rd vehicle, but with logistical issues, the cars I am in the market for are not being delivered with all the features I want. At this time, it makes no sense to get a new car with less features. I decided to buyout my vehicle and wait a few years to get a new vehicle. This is why I am giving a 1 star review. The finance manager, Stacey Chang was extremely uprofessional. After being informed of all the lease buyout fees and the additional safety inspection fee, I expressed my disappointment. As a long term client of BMW over 3 counties in 27 years, I asked if there could be a gesture of good will to absorb some of these lease buyout fees. I am only buying out the lease due to inventory issues. Long story short, she was very unprofessional and chose to ignore my emails. I sent three emails and she did not respond to any of my questions. I was baffled that an employee of BMW would behave in such a unprofessional manner. This reflects poorly on Brian Jessel BMW. I had to go in for a service and I shared my experience with the service manager, he said to email Stacy again. So I did, as she was in her office. No response! After my 4th email went unanswered, I escalated my complaint to upper management. Given this experience, I'd advise going to the other BMW dealerships. I am now dealing with the client relations manager directly, but this experience has caused irreversible damage to BMW's reputation. It is unfortunate that one bad apple can ruin the entire experience. I hope she received the proper coaching on how to be respectful to all clients.

I bought my BMW X3 at Brianne Jessel the second time now. Truly, the Dealership has consistently shown excellent customer service. They made the whole process (trade-in, car selection, financing, car walk through, etc.) fun and easy.

Brought my vehicle in to be serviced for a recall. Booking was easy over the phone. When I brought the car in, staff was courteous and professional. The process of dropping the car off and getting a loaner car was quick. My car was returned washed, cleaned on the inside. The entire experience was much more efficient than in the past. Nobody likes the hassle of bringing their car in to be serviced. The staff made this experience painless.

Did a good job in representing the BMW community - cocky people who think they are the best. We get it, Brian Jessel has the highest sales in Canada for BMWs. That doesn't mean they can provide horrible customer service.

I was interested in a specific model, which no dealership had in the lower mainland except for Brian Jessel. I called before and made sure that the car was in store and gave them a date that I'd visit. On the day, I received a call asking if I were to attend. When I showed up, they said that the owner took the car out and they offered to show me other trims of that specific model. This is not what I asked for, and I'm also stunned that they did not relay this information with me in the same morning over the phone. Really does capture the BMW community. Will stay away from this brand.

Today, I received an extended call from rental car insurance and visited the store around 2 o'clock, and the receptionist there shouted and told me to wait. I will never visit the store again, I will not buy bmw, and I will tell my VIP friend what happened today. I don't understand if she gets angry at the customer and acts rude.

Frustrated ….

Dropped off my car for a battery recall and was called the next day that it was finished. Drove to the dealership to pick up my car. I found a shower cap and plastics left in my car from when they finished cleaning…. Figured whatever, not a big deal. I started my car and once I accelerated I hear a huge rattling under my car. Drove around the parking lot to make sure and knew for sure something was wrong. Went back into the service department and they confirmed it was a rattling in my car. What I don’t understand is how they could of missed this while driving it to the parking stall outside. I really don’t mind waiting another day to make sure everything was fixed properly. Instead of wasting my time during a work day. Going back to the dealership, Waiting for another advisor, rent another car to get back home then come back again to pick up the car…. Honestly expected better from Brian Jessel.

The advisors and staff were friendly and polite.

EDIT: Thanks for the reply. I sent off an email to Paul Kileen on the 17th of Nov and no signs of a reply after a week. Seems like you guys have a lot on your plate.

One of the worst shopping experience with terrible attitude from Jacky Liang. We went in to test drive the M340i and after finishing that, we wanted to test drive the 330i to compare the difference. "So which car are you ACTUALLY interested in? I have people waiting to test drive" was his response, sounding annoyed. After sitting down to learn more about the vehicle, Jacky's attitude improved a little, but remained to give off that "I can sell this car with or without you" attitude. Even though this dealership had a particular vehicle I wanted more, I brought my business to another BMW dealership and I'm now a happy owner of a new BMW. Will never step into this particular dealership ever again, especially when it comes to dealing with "gold sales master" like Jacky who does not care about average Joes. He obviously already has enough customers to care about new ones.

I bought my 535i from here. I usually get my car serviced from here and the service is usually a good experience. However the parts department is absolute garbage here. Completely rude and so defensive. Terrible service. Looking to buy a spare tire and the parts person would not even have the decency to provide me with a part number so I could check more information about it and check if it’s compatible with my car. Called the BMW Store and asked about the same spare tire kit. They told me he’s trying to sell me a 435i spare tire and one doesn't exist from my car, if only I could check if this was true. However the guy is not giving me the part number at all. This is some BS honestly. I’ll never buy a single part from this parts department again because of this terrible experience. Also their prices are some of the highest.

Unpleasant experience, poor attitude from personnel. In particular, I felt that Jacky Liang considered myself and my friends as lesser beings. Refused test drive of a car in rude manner without any explanation. After we tried another car, didn't even try to talk about purchase. He definitely wasn't happy to see us.

I would without a doubt recommend Gurpreet to anyone in the market for a new BMW. BMW's are very well designed and well made. It's the dealer experience that leaves me cold. I don't feel comfortable paying $200+ per hour for routine maintenance.

My first major service was over $800 for oil, filters and tire swap. They even had the gall to charge an extra $50 to reset the the service indicator. I was also given the up-sell on several other fluid flushes but I declined.

My next service was only an oil change and summer tire swap. At the time I thought that $350 was excessive. However when I went back recently for the same service I was quoted around $530 for the same work.

When I asked why it was more I was told that they "use a better oil now".

I asked for a breakdown and found that they were also asking more to mount the tires this time as well. When I questioned why its was twice as much as last time, I was told that I got a lower price to install the tires the first time because I bought the tires there.

I really enjoy driving my BMW but I do not like being taken advantage of. It makes me angry that a dealer is so short sighted as to treat repeat customers in this manner. My advice to anyone with a BMW is to shop around for service quotes as the BMW dealers around Vancouver all have different prices for simple oil changes and tire swaps.

I have since found a reputable private repair shop for routine maintenance. They performed a premium synthetic oil change, did a complete inspection report, topped up all fluids, reset the service indicator and mounted and balanced my snow tires for $225 including tax.

This took less than 2 hours and I wasn't forced to take a rental car for the day. Moving forward I will be using that shop for all service including wear items like brakes, shocks and tires.

Brian Jessel BMW seems to gouge customers on routine service. I will never set foot in their door again. If I do happen to buy another BMW if will be from a different dealer.

My car broke down On the highway it was super scary and everything was painful including waiting two hours for a tow truck. It was very stressful and this awful experience was lifted when I met Alex Felder. He took my keys put me in a loaner car and said to stop worrying and said he would take care of things from here. He lifted the stress almost immediately and was able to go home and forget about the whole thing. He called me several days later stating it was all taken care of and the car was ready to be picked up. The weird part is my car was well out of warranty. He found that the part that failed was a common issue and that he got BMW to cover it under an extended 10 year parts warranty. Epic resourcefulness and I just wanted it to be recognized on a review.

I drove in from White Rock today my timing was good missed the rain and wind I have been looking online at your spectacular pre-owned inventory.
I walked your entire frontline through the showroom and through most of the lot (looking for a 5 series or 7 series) wow pretty impressive inventory!
Walking through the showroom even saw salesman doing fist bumps (must have closed a deal)
Unfortunately during my entire time at Brian Jessel did one person acknowledge me as an alive human being! Maybe when you are Number 1 you have to ask for service to buy a car.
On My way to Langley BMW I sure hope they talk to me and are in interested in helping me not like Brian Jessel!

I had my last 8 years with Brian Jessel.

Car services were poor, I never had a good experience with the girls at the service desk. They are usually impolite.dont know words of "Hi" or "Thank you! "

Service was ok.they arent friendly, and usually takes very long time. There was a time they swapped my key with another customer.and made me to wait for almost a whole day to get back my own key.

As a flagship dealership.lounge is always dirty, and the last time I went there, which was only a few days ago, the washroom was dirty. None of the toilet was flushed.and no hand soap.

I took my BMW 323i here last year to have the brakes replaced and a faulty front signal light looked at - and just an overall tune-up. The service was pretty disorganized, they returned my car dirtier than when I brought it in, and quoted me $1300 to fix the signal light, claiming the entire headlamp assembly needed replacing. I held off as that seemed excessive. Recently, I took my car into a body shop for some minor damage and they fixed the faulty signal light free of charge without me even asking - said it was just a small connection issue. Thanks for supervisor Paul Killeen for appointing the great sales consultant Anthony Ho for me. He was patient answering all my questions. Good service from FSM Colin Yeung. It was good for Laura to call me to follow up except when I requested to be serviced by an English speaking preferably native English speaking representative all the way including financial and insurance. I really mean it, seriously. Wish Laura can improve and assign the right person for customers including me upon customer request. When you assign the wrong individual (not speaking perfect English and hard to understand) it makes the whole shopping experience worse. Thanks Laura.

Great sales department, but the service side leaves a lot to be desired. The last three reps I dealt with didn’t smile and one was very rude (at the pre-owned location). Also, expect to wait 2 hours for an oil change (I could see my car sitting in the lot for 45 minutes, before they moved it to the garage.) I’d take it somewhere else but would go against my warranty. They need to be more considerate of people’s time. By the way, run flat tires are horrible tires. They are twice the price of a normal tire and if had 3 pop in 2 years.

We recently purchased a 2018 - BMW X3-30i on July 3rd, 2018. The sales agent who assisted my family and I was Mr. Jack Chen at Brian Jessel BMW, Vancouver, B. C. I cannot say enough about Mr. Chen, as he is a man of honour and integrity. We didn’t feel pressured or rushed. It was very important to us that Jack was trustworthy, he was upfront and honest with everything. Jack went out of his way to assist us in the purchase of our new BMW X3, to make sure all expectations were met and he listened our needs. He was very professional, attentive and a polite salesperson with clear communication so there were no last-minute surprises. Our final price was exactly as negotiated. He even went above and beyond by staying after closing until 9pm as the dealership closed at 8pm.
Next we met with Mr. Colin Yeung, Financial Service Manager. Mr. Yeung made the final process easy. He recommended Tire and Rim Protection and Appearance Protection. We got both for our peace of mind. Thanks Colin.
After signing all the paper work, Jack had reserved for us a brand new 2018 BMW 440i Convertible until the delivery of our new BMW X3 SUV. For the next 10 days, we were able to drive this great car, which looked and performed very well. Getting behind the wheel, lowering the convertible top, and turning up some music, a smile cannot help but form on your face while you drive. When you need outstanding acceleration, it is there. When the hard top is up, it makes for a very quiet ride. My wife and daughter also loved the convertible, equipped with advanced technologies that make the ride fun and entertaining
Jack was in contact with us up until the delivery date, and after he made follow up phone calls to assure complete satisfaction.

I had to give my car in for a recall and the assistant service manager personally helped me review what had to be done and addressed all my concerns. He cared about my car as much as I did and didn't rush me out or anything. Sam made the experience so enjoyable. I think its a given that a dealership like BMW will be nice, but its always questionable how well the service will be.especially since you may not have a choice. Will definitely go back and will recommend to talk to the service manager if you are unsatisfied.

Brian Jessel BMW is really second to none when it comes to purchasing a BMW, especially after having visited the BMW store downtown as well as Auto West BMW in Richmond.

My wife and I met with Henry Chan regarding purchasing a stylish, reliable and family suitable (two kids) vehicle. He was so knowledgeable, kind and not pushy like many other specialists we had met with. He recommended a couple options within the X series, and honestly detailed pros and cons of each so we could feel comfortable with the decision we made. The financing options make it so easy to work with a family budget.

We settled on the X3 and it has been the best car either of us have ever had. Highly recommend this dealership over any others if you are seriously considering a BMW.

My vehicle, an almost brand new 7 series BMW, produced a very noticeable bulge on the front passenger tire and it was taken to Brian Jessel BMW today. I am visiting BC from Winnipeg and was told this is the largest BMW dealership in Canada. The girl in the service department (Carmen) said they cannot get the tire in until tomorrow and I will need to drop my car off at 8 AM tomorrow (on Saturday) with no guarantee on how long the repair will take. The problem is that even though they are the largest dealership in Canada, they lie that they do not have a loaner vehicle to provide me while the repair takes place. Nor will they accept to reimburse me for a rental car while the tire replacement takes place. Now I have no problem waiting in the dealership for an hour or two (in fact, I spent more than that waiting in this dealership today to sort out the problem to no avail) but we are heading to Whistler today and won't be returning until tomorrow evening. We will then be in Vancouver until Monday afternoon before our departure back to Winnipeg (2400 KM drive). The dealership is closed on Sunday so if I leave my car at the dealer today I cannot pick it up until Monday. Brian Jessel BMW can't provide me a loaner, today or tomorrow, and will not rent a car for me either, and I believe it is only because I did not purchase the 7 series from them. The Service Manager, Kevin Holter, was nowhere to be found so it's unclear who was making the decisions in the back office that Carmen kept going and coming out of. There should not be any compromise or discrimination in vehicle warranty on an expensive vehicle like this. The tire unexpectedly bulging is a very big safety issue and I will be filing a consumer complaint against this shoddy dealer and BMW Canada.

Beautiful showroom, friendly and knowledgeable staffs! A HUGE thank you to Terry Chen for his exceptional service! Very professional, honest and never pushy. He worked out a bunch of numbers and different deals for me and never rushed me into a quick decision like many other sales would do. Gave me time to think about the deals and did everything to assure I got the best deal and service! He got me out of a poor contract on my previous car and put me in a 2018 540i. I’m just totally in love with my new car! Also a huge thank you to Justin Chen who explained every little details about my new car during the test drive! I wish I could give them more than 5 stars! I’d recommend anyone who’s looking for a BMW to give Terry a call and see what he can do for you!

Brought our 2013 535i in on August 13,2018 for service of minor issues and got the car a week later on August 18,2018 with 12 km on it and scratches all over the iDrive screen. To make matters worse they didn't fix a single problem I had came in for and pulled the wires out of the dash cam I had and covered it with paper so I wouldn't know what they did to the car or how they drove it. Told the service employees not to put the key on the iDrive screen before service and now it has huge scratches all over it. Sent an email to customer relations and service manager on Sunday and haven't heard anything since. Really not happy about this and didn't expect this from Brian Jessel. Driving the car for 12 km without my knowledge, pulling out the wires to the dash cam, and putting scratches on the iDrive screen from the key is not what I expected from Brian Jessel. Instead of fixing the issues I came in for, they did more harm than good. BMW designed a place for the key in the cup holder than why does it need to be on the iDrive screen?

Update: I had a meeting with the service manager and showed him the issues. He admitted they put the key on the screen all the time, but when I showed him the scratches from the key he started to divert the issue and claim the other scratches on the screen are not from the key even though they are the same scratches. He's not going to replace the screen even though I have warranty and this was their fault because the car was under their responsibility. It's common sense if you put hard plastic such as a key against a soft lcd screen on multiple occasions scratches are going to occur. He then implied I was a liar and a cheat. Sent the service manager and customer relations an email about this and why I'm under the pretence of being a lier after they damaged my car and I reported it when picking the car up from them.

I haven't heard anything since. Goes to show you, if they damage your car in anyway all they have to do is call you a liar and get away with it.

Decent delivery experience but watch out for questionable sales tactics.

Delivery experience was good, very through, a bit tight on parking space, and showroom/office area is clean and spacious.

Sales was nice all the way, with following to watch out:
1. Order pricing details cannot leave the dealership - over the years we bought couple cars, this is the first time that got noted the order pricing details cannot be taken per policy, my friend just bought a BMW at auto west, no issues at all.
2. Hidden extras in the quote - we trusted the sales and agreed on quoted price but was surprised at the end realizing quote had included extras (warranty insurance/accessories) WHILE reviewing the pricing details AFTER finance manager up selling the extended warranties. He had to go back and tell us what “BMW Protection” was.

Brian Jessel is known dealer in this region, we expected a trusted experience but turned out avoiding transparency and observed dishonest whether intentionally or not.

Very poor service, service associate didn't know what he was doing. He was making my niece pay bill that belongs to different customer and he was convincing her about the service that wasn't performed on her car. We are going on a family trip and wasted one hour arguing with him. Firstly He didn't show her the bill and kept on making deals to make her pay that amount, only when she asked for it found it has different name. This is not it, he didn't let her speak to manager, we will NOT recommend anyone to come to this place neither will come here ever again.

We felt the sales staff were unethical and too aggressive. They don’t honor the advertised deals. Blatantly lie about necessary fees to overcharge customers. When I picked up the car, the salesperson brought out the wrong car, they finally found the right car but nothing was set up, navigation, satellite radio, plates weren’t on. They also put the ‘Brian Jessel’ ad sticker on the car even though we specifically asked for them not to. The car was soaking wet & not even dried at delivery. They also didn’t offer any gift bags as a thank you like most other higher end car dealers do. Just an awful experience overall. My advice is to avoid this place and go to another dealer.

In June last year, I received engine oil leak repair during the warranty period. Now the car warranty is over. I had an engine oil leak in the same parts in less than a year, and I asked parts and customer relations staff about the parts guarantee (2-years of parts&labour), but they did not answer. BMW writes in the review: "Please feel free to contract our Customer Relations Manager Leslie Grove there is anything we can assist you with", but they never answer. I will repair the car in a more friendly and trustworthy place.

The worst bmw dealership I've ever purchased a car from. Stay away, nothing but problems and issues. They don't care about their customers. BMW's have so many engine issues and oil burning issues so expect your car to be in the service center often and for long periods of time. They expect you to drive low end rental/courtesy cars no matter what vehicle you own. AND be extremely cautios when signing any paperwork through their finance managers. They are a bunch of fraudsters who sell fake stories and tell lies just to make commission. And never buy a life and disability policy from them. They say " you cannot get approved for financing with out it" Its a huge scam scam. The finance managers make a huge comission and everyone including salesmen and sales managers seem to be in on it. The finance managers tell you to cancel it after a few months after they get paid out their commission.
