Bridgman Park in Vancouver is a hidden gem for nature enthusiasts and families alike. Nestled within a serene forest setting, the park offers a well-maintained network of trails that are perfect for casual strolls or more adventurous hikes. The highlight is the picturesque creek that meanders through the park, providing a tranquil backdrop for picnics and relaxation. Playgrounds and open spaces are ideal for children, while the cleanliness and safety of the area make it a stress-free environment for parents. The park's accessibility and ample parking add to its convenience.

Bridgman Park is a fantastic place for family fun! The playground is perfect for 1-5 year olds, and the short walk to the beautiful river adds to the amazing atmosphere. It's an ideal spot for a picnic with loved ones. Highly recommended!

So far one of the best playgrounds for kids in North Vancouver. Not only that but the relaxing sound of the Seymour River if you sit there close to the river, a trail that you will enjoy walking with friends and family and the last but not least tables and benches for picnic.

We stopped at this park after a hike to rice lake. I must say we were impressed with this park. Nice play structure and the best part is it is enclosed. Lots of shade and next to a beautiful creek. Will visit again when in north van.

It was really good spot to take our puppy in a busy city. Easy access from Taylor way on your way into Vancouver. Lots of trails, river, bridge, fenced in trails and a dog park. Adequate parking.

Well maintained trails. Skate Park on East side of river. Has restrooms, playground and picnic shelter. Dogs on leash only in this park. Head North towards Lynn Valley suspension bridge for off leash dog trails.

Brand new. Nice play surface. Fenced in so kids can’t escape and dogs can’t infiltrate. Beautiful surroundings.

Great playground. There are different structures appropriate for different ages, from 12 months up.

Great toddler park that is ALMOST totally enclosed. One three foot opening to watch with your runner. Bathrooms nearby. Swings, trampolines, many play structures, balancing & spin structures. Very BUSY & small parking area (it is shared parking with the trail/dog walkers).

Pelicans sitting on a log in the distance. Not the best picture but easier to take than the ones flying

Nice little trail to take your dogs for a walk or you can go for a walk too. Kids area is currently under construction. Limited parking

It's an awesome park in North Vancouver close to Phibbs Exchange bus loop. The creek that flows through the park comes all the way down from the Mountain. It's truly beautiful. There's a secluded legendary skate park located in this park. I used to "hang out" at the skate park when I was 13.

I get the privilege of being home with my two-year old son during his preschool hours. It's a full time job, but one I love dearly. Yes, it makes for some long days at home alone with my little guy. But Bridgman Park is literally right across from our house and has been just what we needed to entertain and recharge both of us in the mornings and in the afternoons.

Dog walkers should leash dogs on path but off at river edge is fine. Was walking a friend after a a dog jump up on her and broke her shoulder and knee.

Bridgman Park was revitalized as part of the Keith Road Bridge project in spring 2017, with a focus on protecting and enhancing the creek, riparian, and forest habitat, as well as improving the paths and reconfiguring the driveway and parking.

The playground is located in Bridgman Park along Mountain Highway, just north of the existing Rec Centre.

Currently, it features a large, multi-bay swing set, a small two-bay tot swing set, and a multi-level play structure. These features are nearing the end of their lifespan, and need to be replaced.

Used to be a great place for a dog, now it seems the city is trying to change that. It's a construction zone constantly and only a small portion of the park is available. Dogs aren't allowed in the water due to spawning salmon. All year round? And there are fences everywhere. So sad, been taking my dog here for 7 years and now I feel like there're not welcome.

Due to never-ending construction, this park is no longer worth visiting. It used to be a go-to park, but you should wait until the construction is completed and try again.

Nice park by the lynn creek. We like to come this park on those hot sunny days when you want to be outside but hide from direct sunshine. The park has great playground and picnic area. Also public washrooms is a big bonus. Dogs allowed on leash through the park and off leash area is on the south part of the park closer to Main Street.

Terrible, construction going on with no signage to access East side of trails. Very poor on the city planning side.

A lot of effort was done doing the park up and it looks great. Wash rooms and picnic areas with great trails and walks all along the river. Well kept clean and safe. Dog friendly. Worth a visit for walking, lounging, picnicking or walking with family and dogs. Worth a visit or stroll.
