I have been going to Broadway Barbers Hair Design for 3 years now. Sam and his crew are super friendly and professional with their work. I have received excellent haircuts from each member of the team. In alphabetical order they are, Anna, Julie, Rod, Sam, Shuna, Tina, and Tracy (sorry if I missed anyone). I strongly recommend this barber shop for your next haircut!

Broadway Barbers is awesome - been coming here for 10 years, and my family too. Terrific barbers, fun people, excellent prices - Sam, Rod, Anna and Tracy are first-rate. Whenever I have an audition or need a style, they fit me in right away and cut it the way I need it. Best barbers in Vancouver!

I've been going here for over a decade now since I was a kid growing up in the neighbourhood. I've moved multiple times throughout the city since then and still make the trip back to see Sam.
I always get a great haircut but more importantly this feels like one of the few businesses in the community that I grew up in where I know them and they know me. So if you're in the market for a quick trim, then by all means go here! But if your lucky enough to go here again and again, you'll get to know Sam and the rest of the staff which is worth way more than just the haircut!

CRIMINAL OPERATION. I dont even know how this place is allowed to operate. Its clearly a front for some illicit buisness. The old guy named sam is "in charge" of the other "stylists". Its a bunch of foreign woman who can barely even understand how I want my hair to be cut as I am telling them in perfect English. Sam treats the ladies like garbage, speaking down to them and treating them subhuman. As i was finally getting through to the lady cutting my hair he keeps blabbering on about how to cut my hair as if it was her first day with a pair of clippers.confidence inspiring for sure. The craziest part is that he wasn't even listening to how I wanted my hair cut and because of the miscommunication i was left with a destroyed hair cut which has taken me months to regrow.

BUT IT DOESN'T END THERE.
I asked sam before hand if he had a student rate and he replied of course no worries.

As I'm getting my haircut, an obvious regular of about 60 years old finishes getting his haircut and Sam tells him he owes $25. The guy tips him $5 for a total of $30. Nothing was mentioned about a student rate.

I finish getting my haircut and ask for the student rate and he tells me no worries it's $25. I called him out and asked why the other man had also paid $25 regular rate and he was so completely caught off guard that he had no words to say and all the ladies in the shop were shocked as I noticed his heartless scam. He tried to say that some garbage about it costing that much because of the tip but I was so furious I just tipped him $5 on top of the $25 hoping it would go to the unqualified yet sweet lady cutting my hair. I asked her to exchange my $20 bill into 5s which she began to go do and then he blabbers out shamelessly "He wants four 5's, do you understand four 5's it's not that hard. " Then he has the nerve to look at me and say "Woman are crazy eh".

I have recommended the appropriate Agencies to investigate this shady operation and I recommend you to steer clear from this scamming, misogynistic, criminal at all costs!

Tina is amazing. She always gets my haircuts and beard trims on point and pays very close attention to details.

Been going here for a year, always get excellent hair cuts. My hair is really thick and straight so it is difficult to cut but Sam does a great job every time. Highly recommended.

They tell everyone to give a 5 star rating so don’t trust the ratings. The barbers are not interested in giving haircuts, they just talk to each other. One of the worst barbershops I have been to.

Rod welcomed me in like family and gave me an incredible hair cut! I’m usually very picky about my hair and with Rod’s experience he noticed everything I typically need to give instructions on and nailed it with precision and close attention to detail. Highly recommended!
