Great experience here! Both the hygienist Rachel and Dr. Jia were awesome, very informative and took their time throughout the procedures. Front desk staff provided multiple options for my next appointment time slot for whatever fit my schedule best. Will be continuing to choose Brooks Landing Dental for any further dental needs.

The waiting time is far to long did an exam got told the tooth needs to come out they gave me some meds for 10 days and told me to go back 2 months later to do the extraction…. There are better offices and faster in town ….

Front desk needs to stop acting & advicing like Doctors. There's a fine line between confidence & arrogance. There was a pregnant lady at the reception last I went in, no consideration for the patient's concerns/issues, did not even make an effort, luckily, the Ethnic lady receptionist resolved it. Doctors are great. Unfortunately, front desk has a God Complex. I've complained to the manager once, she's absolutely of no use. Hope the board members read these reviews.

I made an appointment for a dental emergency. Broken molar causing severe pain.

When being shown to room 3 a lady came in a said "okay so I'll need this room by 12" it was 11: 16 so now I'm feeling rushed and unwelcomed. When the doctor started telling me about a test she would do on my molar someone interrupted us and said "She has no coverage and it's $106 dollars" loud enough for the neighboring patients to hear so now I'm embarrassed and she was misinformed because I do have coverage. I feel like I was prejudged for not having the money.

I was told there was no infection and was pretty much sent on my way. They did nothing to help fix my problem, no prescriptions for antibiotics to prevent any infections and no painkillers for the severe pain.
I was sitting on the chair crying because of the pain I was in. I don't understand why I was treated the way I was.

The only nice person was the receptionist.

They sure take Unprofessionalism to a whole new level. They don't want to listen to the patient nor are they interested in giving any professional advice afterwards or any prescription. Was in so much pain, went to a walkin. They just want your money. You get condescending talk downs in return.

Looks like all the good Dentists are gone. Had to see a Dr. Mckenzie who did not want to hear anything I had to say, they got me in & out of that chair in no time. I understand its end of summer, everybody wants to get out early, but treating paying patients like a charity case is unprofessional to say the least.

Quick and relatively painless tooth extraction. The x rays took longer than the procedure and Dr Chu was a real pro.

Brook's Landing provided me with excellent urgent care for a (minor but annoying) dental emergency. Dr. Chu and her team were supportive, professional, efficient and very kind. Much appreciated!

Fun, professional, exceptionally courteous and listen to your questions, concerns. Each give it their all. Can't ask any better than that. Dr. Mckenzie is the best dentist I've ever had and there have been some awesome others along the way. "Highly" recommended dentistry!

If you call the office, the scheduling person is always trying their best to get you in. Thank you for calling at the last minute to get us in!

The whole team is friendly, efficient and cares about your comfort during your visit. I have seen Dr. Mackenzie for many years and have always felt in great hands. Gwen has the best touch and make sure you leave with a shiny smile in no time. Highly recommend:)

I have really bad anxiety but people don't tend to take it seriously because I try to handle it well
and they totally understood! So kind and also just there energy there is great! And I felt so much better after talking With them.and all things considered with having to be there aka wisdom teeth,

Brooks Landing Dental has always been super professional and friendly! Sima and the girls up front are great and Sonia my Hygienist does such a fantastic job that leaves me feeling fresh and clean. Dr. Kirk will be dearly missed.

I've been a patient of Dr. Mc Kenzies for about 15 years. Her and all the staff are excellent. Dr. Sabrina is wonderful too. Dr. Kirk although lacking in bedside manner and a bit rough is a talented professional. All the hygienists are terrific. They are fallowing all Covid 19 recommendations without losing any services you need. Even my daughter who is scared of the denist is always well taken care of and leaves with a smile I recommend this dental office to everyone I know. If you have extended medical they direct bill.

It has been awhile since I have been to the dentist, so I was a little nervous. However, this team made me feel so comfortable and relaxed! Well worth the drive to go here!

Hadn't been to the dentist in a long time. Made it a comfortable experience. Glad the other two I called first were closed Fridays!

Dr. McKenzie is best here in Nanaimo. Her and her team are well organized, professional and have also created a very safe environment during our current global pandemic. If you are looking for a top notch dental practice, look no further!

Friendly staff, the dentists know what they're doing and are honest and to the point. Price is the same everywhere as it's set by a governing body for the country.

UNPROFESSIONAL bunch of people.you may not try to fix/remove your teeth there. THEY RIP YOU OFF AND SUFFER TO FINISH YOUR TREATMENT. THEY DONT KNOW WHAT THEY DOING AT ALL. NOT RECOMMENDED. AVOID THEM.bad

I have been a long time patient. I highly recommend all the dentists at this office. They always keep your best interest in mind, and make sure you’re happy. I have had nothing but a great experience here, always feel welcome and comfortable. They explain their findings thoroughly, so you understand what’s happening. Great, clean, professional office. Right from when you walk in the door to when you leave. You’re taken care of, and are in good hands ️

I almost wanted to cancel my appointment when I saw the 2.5 star review but I am really glad I didn't. Unfortunately I don't remember my hygienist's name but she was great, made me feel comfortable and cared for. It was really chilly in there and she noticed I was cold without me saying anything about it and offered me a clean warm blanket. She was thorough and professional with explaining what she was doing. Every one of the staff seemed friendly, their covid protocols made me feel safe, and overall I have no complaints and think this place deserves better recognition:)

Always a good experience here. Got my wisdom teeth out last week, staff made me feel comfortable and Dr. Kirk explained the procedure thoroughly. Front staff were very professional and friendly. Would highly reccomend.

Terrible receptionist, so difficult to make an appoint. Ruining your day place. Go somewhere else.
