Brookswood Nails Salon

I have been here a couple of times previously and been very happy with the service, but I went today to get a french manicure with shellac removal done, and it was awful. The removal process was so bad I could see remnants of filed shellac on my nail when she started painting on top of it. It resulted in spots and bumps on my nail they claimed to be what my natural nail looked like. Ultimately they said to choose a different color so it wouldn't show through but my nails are bumpy now and one of them has already started to peel even though it has been like an hour since I left the salon.

Excellent service, strong willingness and desire to get you what you want. Would recommend.

My favourite nail place! EVER! ️ My gel shellac lasts 3-4 weeks before I begin to get bored of the colour. Very strong nails.

Both the nail and pedicure technicians are excellent! Costs are reasonable and they are very flexible if you have short notice.
All.three generations of our family love this business!

Family run salon, very accommodating and customer service oriented, prices are very comparable but their service is what marks the difference. I've experienced the sense of rushness at other local salons, "forced" into choosing a nail colour, or something that costs more money, especially when you're new to these type of esthetic services, guidance and sincerity is needed. Brookswood Nails is my next stop for sure.

This place was lovely! They offer kids nails for 50% off and it was perfect for my seven year old daughter.

I used to go here frequently a few years ago but hadn't been in awhile. Decided to go (my usual girl didnt work there anymore) Got yelled at and humiliated 3 times infront of other customers for absolutely nothing. The girl doing my nails couldn't speak/understand any English (not her fault), so whenever I said anything I just got screamed at by the manager/owner I presume. The young girl doing my nails did a fine job but whenever I explained anything even breathed a word to her I would get verbally accosted. I will absolutely never be back, not a way to treat people! Wow.

EDIT: in regards to the response. The nice young girl was NOT the one who yelled at me. It was the manager who stood up each time and came over to me very loudly and rude. Nothing to do with plexi glass at all.

Went in for a fill and my nails shortened SLIGHTLY. When I went in for a fill my nails all had an apex and a "C" curve. Now they are flat thick and LUMPY. Very disappointed.

Quiet and clean. The ladies are so nice and do a thorough job during pedi and Mani. They are very hygiene cautious too. A brand new embry board dropped while trying to grab something, and since it touched the floor, they just put it in the bin. I felt well taken care of during my first visit. I'll definitely be coming again for their kindness!

Such an awesome place to get your nails done. My feet were so rejuvenated after my pedi. My tech was so fabulous I can't wait to go back next month!

I had my acrylic nails removed - or so I thought. I had them removed on Friday. As I was leaving, I was told to be careful with my nails. I didn't know what that meant. But now I understand. I work as a personal trainer so I use my hands a lot. I started noticing some chipping today and I found out that the top layer was still left on! My nails look horrible and I'm not happy with the removal service.

I honestly felt like it was really rushed and as an 8 month old pregnant lady leaving with the amount of oil left on my feet was absolutely outrageous and when they brought out hot towels one was wet and cold and then at the end they had the balls to tell me it was a $52 pedicure.

Excellent service! Consistently the best pedicure around. Personable and positive atmosphere. Covid protocol excellent.
Pricing are very reasonable and clearly posted.

I am now a long time and loyal customer. The salon is clean and the staff are friendly and professional. I bring my friends here and they love it too!

Appointments usually never began on time, waited nearly 25 mins the second time there. One particular lady was always in a rush doing my nails and aggressive with my hands. Just didnt enjoy the atmosphere there and left unhappy more then once so I stopped going there after the third time.

Love the girls there! I've been going for a few years now and they always help out when I need it. Trish is a great owner!

Worst nail appointment I think I have ever had. My daughter wanted to go get our nails done together and she said let's go to Brookswood nails. The lady my daughter had was nice and I'm sure mine was too if she could get her head out of her phone. If it wasn't for my daughter trying to make special time for us I would have walked out twice for sure almost three times. The lady doing my nails was more interested in her text messages and talking a foreign language to one of her co-workers than actually engaging with me. (A paying client) As she giggled while reading text and doing my nails she asked me to go wash my hands to come back to her texting again. Then she dropped her phone and she put it away in the drawer. I figured that would put an end to the cell phone issue however she pulled the drawer open a few times just to read her texts. Was not impressed at all. She walked to the back once she had me wash my hands again and as I walked by her she said we were done. One of my nails were sharp and I had to get another girl to fix the sharp part on one of my nails. Go elsewhere as the service was horrible. I will not be back.

I have been going there since they opened and I have Kate do my nails everytime.she does great work I highly recommend her

This place is one of the best places I have been to. Fair prices for a great job! I love going to this place because I know I will always leave happy. Thank you for the beautiful job every time.

First time at Brookswood Nails. I'm very happy with my glitter fade and will definitely be going back.
