Brow Werx Microblading North Vancouver

This is a very late review, as I've been seeing Colleen for a couple of years now. Colleen has absolutely SAVED my brows! Before discovering her studio, I had my brows microbladed at another studio in North Van, and they were.not good. When I went to see Colleen, my brows were still quite dark, but had faded to a horrible ashy colour, and the shape wasn't great for me. Colleen has been working hard over the past year or so to correct both the colour and the shape. She is an absolute artist and a total perfectionist. My brows are impossible, as they are super oily and simply eat up the pigment. Colleen is the only artist who has been able to do microblading strokes that actually stay put for more than a couple of weeks. (as opposed to powder ombre). Honestly, my brows have never looked this good, and I would never EVER go to anyone else to maintain my brows.

I've also been seeing Colleen for skin care as often as I can manage. I've always been hesitant about going for facials as I have super sensitive skin. Colleen takes the time, and has the knowledge and experience to really understand your skin type and tailor the service to your type and concerns. I've done the hydro peel twice, and it's amazing! It's not just a nice indulgence (and believe me it IS nice!), it's really made a difference in my oily, aging, textured skin and brought it to a level that I can maintain at home.

Beyond being amazing at what she does, Colleen is just a wonderful person. I've never had an esthetician make me feel so comfortable and welcome. She's extremely personable, relatable, funny and warm. It kind of feels like you're going over to a friend's house for a facial. The studio is so lovely too. It's a small loft space that feels so cozy and comfortable. It's such a personal and comfortable experience!

If you are thinking about microblading, I cannot recommend Colleen highly enough. You'll be in master hands, and she won't let you leave until your brows look perfect. Honestly, her brow artistry is life changing!

I saw Colleen @ Brow Werx for my eyebrows this past weekend. I am beyond thrilled with my results. As a long time over-plucker I had some pretty patchy brows. She skillfully used a combo of microblading and shading to create super natural, full results, just like the photos she has posted on her website, yet customized to my face.

The experience as a whole was so relaxing. Her studio is impeccably clean and fresh, as well as all of her tools and instruments were sterile and unwrapped in front of me.

She mapped my eyebrows, asking questions and making sure that I was satisfied with the concept. While the numbing cream activated, she massaged my shoulders, neck and arms. It was a dream.

She kept me informed the whole way through the microblading and shading procedure, taking the time to show me in the mirror the progress she was making.
