Browns Locksmith/Rays lock and Key

Incompetent staff that cannot cut keys properly, takes 2-3 tries every time. Poor service and unfriendly.

Excellent work, we highly recommend their service. We had a challenging issue with our car ignition and it was solved with no problem. Everyone working there was so friendly and lovely as well as professional and helpful. They have the key to our hearts. Thank you for your hard work!

Helped me out in a pinch with a broken car key and gave me a number to replace the messed up ignition cylinder. I’ll take it back to get coded after the cylinder is replaced. Super friendly, knowledgeable and quick service for a fair price. Yes, I realize the parking situation. Those are Browns spots and they can enforce it however they need to since people are abusing it. They have dozens of signs, and cameras. Don’t ever expect to get away with it! Park a couple blocks away and walk the extra 5 minutes, it’s not that hard guys!

In my 34 years on this earth I have never come across a business and a staff so set out to deceive and lie for as little as 20 dollars. Imagine being sick and pulling over to make sure you and everyone else on the road is safe, I get out I walk for I swear on everything I love 10 sec in one direction not looking at the car to then turn back and see a boot on my car like they must have ninjas working for them. I get it if I parked there with the intention of not moving for awhile or at ALL i see where the boot might get the point across but my car was still on and my door was half open? Lol I thought I was in big trouble I go inside to see a staff of weirdos waiting for confrontation but I just simply ask what’s with the boot they said you parked in the wrong spot bud. I asked them how do I take it off the lady said with a serious look 20 dollars I smiled and paid. The owner walks by and you can tell dude loves drama and confrontation smiled right passed and left. I might go back and bring my own boot and park there all day:)

I dislike when people say their staff are passionate about service, but Ray can legit say this. The team consistently puts in the extra effort to make sure your problem is corrected. I highly recommend this business.

As a walk in I was welcomed right away. We asked for the service I required and was helped right away. Within 15 mins my vehicle had diagnostics run and a programmed fob for my vehicle.

Learned they do key/fobs on a tv commercial, went in and was helped immediately and with less cost than the dealer. PLUS we recently had the check engine light come on prior to our visit and when they programmed the fob they volunteered up the codes to us. Amazing!

I have used them many times for a variety of reasons and always great service, very efficient and super friendly.

One of the best businesses in town, I can see it going strong for another 40 years without fail. I can't see poor management/ownership alongside anger issues and sketchy business practices playing into their downfall.

Came promptly after I locked myself out of the house. A friend ended up showing up with a key and the gentlemen wouldn't charge me for his time. Much appreciated and would call again if needed.

The price they charge is high compared to other locksmiths. Wouldn’t even try fixing the problem before payment. Also, didn’t like the way the staff spoke to me. I would recommend people do their research before doing business with them.

I was away on Vancouver Island and had a friend taking care of my apartment. Unfortunately said friend used one of his own keys in my lock and it broke.

Rays/Browns got there that day and replaced the whole thing for me immediately! No muss, no fuss, no worries! This lock is so much smoother than the original and when I got home, had two fresh new keys waiting for me!
