-Location: On the former site of Brownsville and Kikait, a First Nations fishing camp. Historically significant for the Kwantlen people's summer fishing activities.

- Features: Includes a polluted beach/sandbar area.

- Daytime Activities: Known for good fishing on the bar.

- Nighttime Activities: Popular for fires and social gatherings, with notable consumption of liquor. I personally do not recommend doing this.

- Safety Concerns: The area of the Fraser River here is polluted and has dangerous currents; not recommended for certain activities. Not safe for children or for pets

- Maintenance Issues: Park is poorly maintained with a rat and vermin problem due to leftover food scraps and garbage from nighttime visitors.

- Scenic Views: Offers beautiful nighttime views of New Westminster from the Surrey side.

Overall, I do not recommend this place for children or for pets due to the hazards present in this environment and all the garbage and rats that are present.

Be prepared to get rid of your own litter. Parking free. You have to walk over train tracks to get to river side. Occasionally train stops and blocks way. Then you wait.

Extremely disappointed with all the garbage and people living under the trees in this potential beautiful park!
Dog poop and garbage everywhere! Please don't bring your family their as the kids might pick up something that will hurt them! Beautiful Vancouver BC is not what it used to be! Very sad

Good fishing apparently. Seem to be the only one without a rod.
Just checking out the new bridge.

Would be great if people use it with responsibility and not use it as campfire trials.
The evening view is amazing.

They should put a dog's & bare feet finding fishing hooks sign! If your dog won't come out of the water, think line hooks and weight might be holding them. It's not just salmon sized hooks. I've found sturgeon rigs with 8ounce weights and rusted hooks on 50m of line. Also,

Best sunset and night view, not too crowded but you'll find people doing walk, sunset chaser, bonefire, picnic

Lots of East Indians crowd the park at night. They have fires, drink and eat without cleaning up their mess. Please have some respect for our parks.

Beautiful place for that morning walk, or a peaceful break from daily life. NOT so quiet since the skytrain makes it's routinely trips over head but still a good, clean space of fresh air. Parking lot is ample usually. THERE is a pub there as well incase you feel umm.thirsty.

Nice park by the fraser river with nice scenery. You can collect seaglass from some of the beaches when the tide is low, but otherwise the park isn't always clean and has a strong smell of human waste in some areas:/

Great little park with a loop walkway, beach, and views of the river, bridges, trains, and New West.

Old Village from the 1800s, now mostly full of crazy people with bottle rockets and cops with assault rifles
