Sara is the most friendly, knowledgeable and talented hairstylist that I have met. She transformed my hair in one session and I can’t wait to continue the journey and see where my hair is at in the coming months:) Overall I loved my experience at brush and am looking forward to my next visit!

Pierce is an excellent hair stylist! He listens carefully and he is a master at his work. He bleached my hair carefully from a very dark black-brown to a very light clear blonde, he is very meticulous in his work, no damage to my hair, and recommended great hair products for the after care of my bleached hair. Also the toner he chose (light silver) fades beautifully until my next roots appointment, no banding at all. I’ve had my hair bleached in LA and at other hair salons in Canada, but I’ve never been this content about the clear light blond shade I have now thanks to Pierce! Highly recommended!

While I cannot speak to the hair services here, which I'm sure are great. I'm very disappointed with a last minute cancellation for a consultation to accommodate a stylist to be able to leave early. I pushed a number of things to make this consultation appointment only to have it cancelled that same day, and I would have expected that this time slot be honored despite perhaps being inconvenient. This kind of unprofessionalism will make me seek services elsewhere.

Tyana is super talented, kind, patient, and always a blast during every appointment. Brush as a whole has great customer service and is on point with their communication. I highly recommend Tyana!

I was here on August 26th, and got my hair done by Caitlin - she was super kind and professional the whole time. She did a half head of foils and it looks amazing! My hair feels so healthy and the quality of work was impeccable. Plus, the head massage was awesome! I would definitely recommend!

I will never go anywhere else again.after several years of disastrous haircuts i have found the perfect stylist.i have never seen such precision and understanding of the craft.a true artist.and she is kind listens to you guides you.i am so grateful and so so happy to have this artist create for me.the staff that was there receptionist apprentice stylists all fabulous.

Maddy gave me the haircut of my dreams! It had been 3 years since I had been in a salon (pandemic got me out of the habit). I have wavy unruly hair and had the impossible request of Maddy that I get a cut that could be fairly wash and wear (although I agreed that bangs sometimes need a bit of blow drying, which I was ok with). I showed her some pics with various ideas and cuts I have been collecting over the last 6 months, and she really took the time to consult with me, wade through the various options, and explain the pros and cons of each style. She made recommendations based on my hair type and my dream of low maintenance hair. SHE DELIVERED big time! There are some days I roll out of bed and hardly need to brush it since it already looks perfectly tousled. Even the bangs! This ranks up there as one of the best haircuts I have ever had. RUN, don’t walk to Maddy if you too have dreamt of layered bouncy low maintenance hair. I honestly cannot believe what she achieved with my mop!

Had a fantastic cut with Firoze - Not all stylists listen to the details of your vision but she definitely does, then she brings it to life! Plus the salon is beautiful and their lattes are great, what more can you ask for!

I had a great experience here with ji today.i had come in after getting a botched haircut at a different salon last week.she was so helpful and patient and i am so excited for future sessions with her.she is a gem!

It was the worst service for highlights, if you have dark hair I definitely don’t recommend. I think they can do a great job if you have blonde hair but not dark

I had the best experience at brush with Chelsea! She made me feel comfortable and reassured me that we would be able to achieve the hair I wanted while staying within budget and keeping my hair healthy. She was kind, punctual, respectful and made sure to communicate the process throughout the appointment.

Alana was amazing! This was my first time at Brush and she fully delivered what I asked for. Alana was attentive to the style I wanted, offered suggestions and was an easy stylist to chat with during the entire process. I will definitely be back!

I have been to Brush many times and have always left happy with my hair services. Chelsea did my cut and color last time I went and she did exactly what I asked for. Chelsea is amazing and has a great attention to detail, she always takes the time to make sure she understands what the end goal is during the consultation and communicates the plan and expected results with me. Being new to the city and still searching for a stylist, finding one that can be trusted with my very thick, wavy hair has been a tedious process. At my first appointment with Tyana, she spent time asking the right questions to establish a strategy to get my hair where I wanted it to be. I feel I am now in skilled hands and look forward to a continued relationship with this salon.

Today enjoyed the most outstanding hair experience I've ever had. It was the first time I'd ever stepped foot into a salon, and Alana made me feel very welcome and comfortable in the space.
Alana was very knowledgeable and kind, and when I left I was more familiar with my own hair and more knowledgable in caring for it. I also left feeling like I was some dashing love interest to in a jane austen novel. I spent the whole walk home looking at my reflections in car and shop windows. It has given me a newfound confidence in how I present myself, which is not something I can put a price on (but the price for the haircut was reasonable). I will come back to this salon specifically for all my hair needs.

Jiji saved my hair. I had a HORRIBLE haircut from a freelance stylist beforehand and Jiji cut it and shaped it beautifully and gave me back my confidence:)

She will charge you $500-600 and you won't get what you asked for.
Absolutely horrendous and a scam if you ask me.

I love going to brush hair salon, the vibe, and all the staff members are incredible. The standard of service professionalism and care they put into their salon makes me so excited to come in for my next cut. If you decide to my the smart choice and go to this salon please see Sara! You won’t regret it, she transformed my hair and recommends the best products to bring my hair goals to life! 12/10 would recommend brush to anyone

No words.this woman KNOWS what she is talking about and she does hair with so much ease! I loved being in her chair AND I LITERALLY CANNOT WAIT TO GO BACK.

Wonderful experience! The stylist at this lovely salon in historic gastown was able to recognize my style and needs, and did an excellent job on my hair. I highly recommend this salon to anyone.
