I got the teriyaki chicken fried rice and it was good. The chicken was sweet and savory and the fried rice complimented it well

My son and I were there at 8: 30 to buy a drink but we wasn’t able to buy because I didn’t have any cash or debit card with myself and you store was not close up my house.
Please fix it.

The food is great and very tasty! But the bathroom is atrocious! Yellow streaks all over, broken tissue box holder on the floor, the urinal hasn't seen a scrub since day one. Please fix the bathroom! If the bathroom is like this, what about the kitchen?

Food was disappointing compared to the New West Branch.not sure if it's because we did take out instead of eating in. We used to like bubble world a lot in New West. My husband ordered his favorite dishes in New West: baked fish cutlet on rice with white sauce. He was so disappointed with it, couldn't finish it even in two sittings.
The wonton in chilli oil should come with a safety warning. It was way too spicy! I love spicy food, and go to Sichuan restaurants often. But this was too much for me. I can't believe a lot of people would be able to eat more than a piece or two of this.
The best part of our order was the chicken nuggets! Wish we just ordered $60 worth of chicken nuggets.
Their bubble tea is decent though.

Went for bubble-tea. Was too sweet. Guy made me a new one, no problem, and fast! Very nice staff.

Very dirty, wouldn’t want to serve a group of 8, made us feel uncomfortable. As we were walking out the waiters pointed at our group and said nice since we decided to leave before taking our order.

Service is kinda bad tbh, doesn’t deserve a tip anymore

Cheap bubble tea the customer service was good biggest bubble tea place I’ve ever seen also very clean on the outside but dirty on the inside

The bubble tea here is soooooooo good! The pearls especially is so much better than anywhere else I've had it (including other Bubble Worlds).

Got 2 soups for takeout and it was delicious. The chicken nuggets were really really good. There was about 25 people inside either waiting to order at the counter or waiting to pick up their orders. The seat-in area was also very busy so I was pretty happy with picking up my food after the 15 minutes they said it would be ready by. Another customer was complaining about having “waited 10 minutes already! ”. Everyone else was just waiting patiently like we used to in the 90’s.

I came in with my friends at 9: 45pm and the lady waitress sat us down with menus to get ready to order. No one was coming to get our order so two of my friends HAD to stand up to get the attention so that we could order. It was already about 10: 10pm and we were hungry and ready to order. We were expecting the lady to come to take our order and instead a male staff came and told us that they don't do dine in after 10pm. We were taken aback and rebutted back that we came in before 10pm AND WERE SEATED BY THEM. The male staff had the audacity to ask who seated us. Well obviously a staff member sat us. So essentially we were kicked out. We left at 10: 15pm. If you didn't want to serve us, just let us know so then we would not have to waste our time. I was okay until I was made to feel like it was our fault that we were seated. I am incredibly angry, honestly just go to the Surrey location.

Their blended drinks are delicious however, front of house cleanliness could improve along the window ledges. A clean front of house tells customers what back of house could be like. Not sure about coming here again….

Does not take credit, and threatened to call police when trying to figure out payment options. No facility to etransfer. Very rude. Will not return.

Restaurant doesn't take credit cards. They probably do this to avoid costs. Their cheapness flows to their food quality. You've been warned.

Disgusting inside,
there is too many flies and mosquitoes inside flying around and in people's food. I had to leave and phoned to cancel my order because I don't feel comfortable eating there.

Good place for bubble tea and snacks. Open late. Does not take credit card, but does take debit

Menu updated and not as many choices. Dishes are not really well executed. Several items often not available latelt. OK for bubble tea, but line ups slow. Has wifi, AC.

Lots of food options on the menu, from bubble tea to waffles to noodles and rice. Food is ok, some items good, others meh.

It is usually very busy.

Faves: wine chicken, hokkaido milk tea, milk pudding tea with grass jelly,
cabbage hot pot, peppery chicken.

The meat & marinated tofu sauce with noodle was disappointing because the noodles were overcooked/soft rice noodles (like pho noodles), rather than "dan dan" noodle.

It's ALWAYS missing stuff from takeout food. Missing chopsticks are fine, But it's ordered 3 kinds of things and only got 2. Fried stuff too salty. Honestly maybe dine in is better? But I've been ordering take out for a lot of times now, only 5 out of 10 times they got my order right. So it's a gamble.

It was good, I liked it. Drink was very good, I got mango strawberry slush. I got chicken nuggets I dined in.

This place has some great bubble tea. The Lychee green tea and mango flavours are really very good. Do try out the place if you are wanting some bubble tea.

I go there for night hang out, but they close at 11pm. Good place for bubble tea & dessert after dinner. Average $10~$25 per person.

Cashier took our order and didn’t tell us they don’t have what we ordered (brown sugar milk tea, pretty standard order for bbt places) instead changed our order to just milk with pearls. Terrible service. Rude staff

Good Taiwanese good experience. It is a family favorite. Naturally kids love the Boba tea and we do too

Their beef noodle soup is great and their food is always ready at the time requested when we call them for takeout.

Arrived at 10: 10PM to dine in, was told there's no dine in after 10, there are no signs, no notices nothing to indicate this. Ordered some stuff to go including a drink but there was no straw inside the bag, was never told to grab a straw myself thought it'd be inside the bag but there was just a pair of chopsticks. Tried calling no one will pick up the phone even though they were still open, very bad experience.

For Bubble tea, this is the place to go for me in Coquitlam. My favourites are the milk tea, peach slush with pearls, or passion fruit with pearls.

Love this Taiwanese food place! Great price and portion for take out! Very happy to live nearby.

Asked specifically for a pineapple slush, no milk. I got a milk. I am lactose intolerant. The girl at the till Litterally did not hear it clearly. After explaining the milk allergy and returning the drink. She tried to argue and say that she did not hear me.

After changing the drink. She proceeded to say … word for word “My manager wanted me to let you know that this time is an acception”

What does that mean? And why is she trying to make her mistake on me. Saying that I am even in the wrong. Completely ridiculous. Please, refer back to the audio of camera footage if needed. This is truly unacceptable.

The next customer she couldn’t even understand what they were saying and stated to them “sorry it’s a little loud can you repeat that”.

Disappointed.

The Bubble Tea was Good! It was low in sugar so if you want sugar you have to ask for it i guess.

This bubble tea place is decently priced but very lacking in quality and quantity. Got the hazelnut milk tea with pearls to learn they have no pearls …. Which doesn’t make sense for a bubble tea place.but hey I still gave it a try but it tasted like very low quality syrup for the hazelnut and wasn’t impressed at all. The cashier upfront as well was very rude overall not a good experience and it looks like I’m not alone reading these reviews.

The fresh taro slush was delicious. The wait for the order to made took longer than expected. No in door seating available for now. I would have given them a 4 star but it’s cash or debit only which knocks it down a star.

I’ve never been here and was thinking about trying, but it looks like the quality went down unfortunately.

Their customer service is horrible. They make you wait longer than it should and doesn't even try to give you any explanation. One of the girl employee was so rude taking orders and showed her attitude throughout the whole process. When the orders were ready, she was like banging down the orders on the counter and here we go, take it. So disappointed at their customer service. I tried to address this customer service issue to other staff member or seemingly a manager, but nobody seems to care. I'm not going there again.

Best place that anyone can order bubble tea from is Bubble World. I have been ordering ever since 2013 from Bubble World chains and never changed to another place. I recommend trying the green apple milk tea or slush with pearls really good. The only down is that the one in Coquitlam used to give out lots of pearls and they give smaller portions in their cups now. I once called them 22 times and they didn’t pick up which is a big annoying they could have just told me they couldn’t make my order

First place I tried bubble tea and I enjoyed it a lot. They have lots of options and you can customize your drink any way you like. Seems a bit busy during the evenings so I felt a bit ignored or rushed with my order though. Otherwise it was a good place

Called in to order pick-up. Person on the phone told me to “hold” and they put the phone down while taking orders of other people (can be heard on the phone as they did not mute).

They left me on the phone for 15 minutes until they hung up on me. Never got to order a thing.

Rice was undercooked, chewy like tapioca pearls and for sure overnight rice. The takeout lid couldn’t cover the bowl so the soup spilt everywhere in my car during the 3 min drive home. The beef in the braised dish was drier than the jerky you forgot under the couch at your grandma’s when you were a kid. There are better options for your money.

Food quality dropped significantly during pandemics, hope someone reads this and fix it.

Of all the Bubble World places in the Lower Mainland, this is by far the worst when it comes to customer service, even the manager is rude. Also, there’s no sanitation/cleanliness protocol whatsoever. The place is so dark and dirty even without any dine ins at the moment. I love Bubble World but will never come back to this location.

Generally a fan of bubble world as I’ve been to and tried various locations across the lower mainland over the years, generally a 5 star experience. For context I’m generally an easy reviewer (unlike some folks who seems to rate everything with unreasonable expectations and lack of empathy). I try to be considerate of circumstances and usually round up the stars to 5 or 4 at least but this was just disappointing.

Ordered via SKIP the dishes to a hookah lounge (pardon the blue lighting on the pics, had no choice) with clear instructions for 2 sets of utensils for my Kung Pao Chicken with side rice/vegetables and my 2 drinks (1 hot milk tea with pearls and 1 cold milk tea with coffee jelly (50% sugar and less ice).

The cold drink ended up being full sweet (for sure not half sweet). The hot drink arrived as a cold drink (not cooled off but literally the cold version despite the invoice indicating the hot version). I only received 1 set of plastic utensils and only 1 bbt straw. I’m really hoping this was a one off mistake and would have left it there but the Kung Pao chicken was Kung Pao onions (literally vegetables). I had to hunt for the chicken and found maybe 3.5 tiny pieces if you could even call them pieces. Not a pleasant experience. The flavour/seasoning was good but very disappointing portion of protein.

Will try them again someday but not soon, hopefully I can come back and update this for a 5 star review.

The bubble tea here is always good. As for food, some of it is good and some of it is not, you need to know what to order. I highly recommend the BBQ meat slices on rice.

Brown Sugar Pear Bubble tea? Is very good. Portion size and price is amazing. My new favourite bubble tea restaurant.

Rating here without trying food and only 1 bubble tea. I had a staple, Taro Milk Tea with Pearl.
Price is reasonable and flavour options are decent like Rainbow Jelly.
Parking was good. Service was nice and fast. Pearls were actually better than expected, and about average on everything else.
Definitely would keep as a solid, reliable Bubble Tea stop but need to go somewhere else for extravagance.

Was out in Coquitlam Centre area and decided to have the rare Covid19 dine in experience at Bubble World. Understandably, expecting limited seating area, as it turns out, it is more setup like a food court arrangement. Orders are taken as you walk in, than you are given a table number to seat. There were no sign in sheet for COVID19 contact list. When order was ready for "pickup" you will need to go to pick up area and pick up the take out container food on the tray (self served). When you finished with the food, you will also need to put away the garbage on your way out (a garbage bin was setup at exit of the dine in area). During the entire time we ate there, we did not see anyone coming out to the dinning area to clean up (sanitize/disinfect) the tables. Lucky for us, we were there early, before dinner rush, and we had our own alcohol spray to clean the table before having our meals on it.

Quality: 2/5 - food was lukewarm, feel like it was left over food reheated, there were no side dishes that normally accompanies with the meals when dinning in.
Service: 2/5 - what service? It was self service.
Cleanliness: 2/5 - on the surface, it seems clean, but when taking a closer look - another story, not recommended for dinning in

Total damage: $55 (include prepaid tip - min.tip when paying with Debt 12%)

Return: Not for a long while.

Note: zero social distancing was observed at this place, lots of people coming in to order, or for pickup, all standing in the same area (<2 ft apart)

I can't believe how anyone could rate below 5 stars. Amazingly fast service, mouth watering food, ridiculous prices! Whether you are going for food or for bubble tea just go go go! I suggest anything that comes out with a flame under it!

Food was good, ordered a few different things and bubble tea. The restaurant is open for dine in but it's hardly a dine in experience. No service to table and no real cutlery or plates to use for eating your food. You have to eat out of take out containers and order at front. Tables weren't very clean even though it was empty inside. Mostly people doing take out.

Services varies depends on who you get. It’s the chain restaurant/ bubble tea shop that has opened for few decades. I think they can do much better in different aspects with so many competitors out in the market now.

The way the waitresses talked to us was very rude. They have a rule where if it’s a group of 8+ people, then one person has to pay for everything. In doing so, it saves themselves time with bill payments, but with previous experience in other places, it only takes about 5 minutes or so to get through everyone.

When we offered to sit in two groups of four in completely separate tables, they still wouldn’t let us and even laughed when we tried to compromise.

Don’t get me wrong, love the food, but from the service received during this visit, I would go to other locations instead.
