"Medium" coffee is a small anywhere else - there should be industry standards. Their "large" looked like a 12 oz. Both coffee sizes are small.

Unlike other places, no offer of butter for the muffin and not the warmest service. $4.00 for day-old bread, so I hate to think what they charge for the regular stuff. A bit more overpriced than most cafes IMO.

Not Safe for people with CELIAC. My aunt went out of her way to find a GF dessert, I know this is a well loved bakery and has great reviews, but PLEASE, do not offer GF food, I got sick. The GF app has negative reviews for this place, so I’m adding one here for anyone else who is celiac. Please don’t attempt to eat here.

Stop in at Bubby Rose’s Bakery & Cafe on my way home. The location was nice and convenient the staff were great and the food tasted good

Quite disappointed! I ordered a cherry pie and was disappointed to see it was presented with no top crust. The cherry filling had leaked over the side and made the pie very messy. And the crust that was present was chewy and tasteless.

Tried to come by something today, stood at the counter for 5 minutes and no one came to help.

A tasty selection of baked goods, and lunch fare in a high ceiling large friendly open space. One long term staff member, in particular, here since the location opened, is helpful, efficient and welcoming.
This is where neighbourhood locals and nearby office workers come to meet and enjoy comfortable food at lunch.

Sweets= yes! Savoury stuff= keep walking. Potentially the weirdest tasting lasagna, lifetime. 4/10, need to try the other locations before I write off the franchise

They have such a cheery tart! Also Staff are very nice, they helped me to change my cash!

This spot has a very nice selection of baked goods, including a great number of gluten free offerings. There are a small number of tables to eat in and enjoy a coffee but a large part of their business is take out. They are a popular addition to the neighbourhood.

Very friendly and helpful stuff and I had a delicious sandwich on a homemade scone for lunch

Closed early yesterday with promise to open today at 7 am. Here at 730 and now a new sign is up saying open at 830

Maybe I'm too old or not cool enough for this place. Went there and had a large Mocha. He offered me milk alternative. I said sure Oatmilk. I asked for whip cream. He said, no, we don't do that. Bill was $7.19. I said wow, I've never paid that much for a coffee. I Declined 20% tip on machine, paid and left. When I got home I looked at receipt and realized the Oat Milk was $. 80 cent upcharge.
Cost was high but I can live with that. Indifference and no thank you. Who needs it.

Walked past the place on a lovely Monday morning and decided to give it a shot, I got the Italian sandwich with a side of potato’s. The server at the front was super lovely and really appreciative of a small gratuity, she serviced us to the tee and it was great, sandwich was a solid 8.1 with the sneaky banana peppers in each bite! I highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area.

Decent gluten free sweets. Their gluten free cheesecake is yum, though could be a bit less sweet so I won’t be back too often for it. The gluten free pizza is great to have as a reasonably priced ready to go meal even if they only have one kind and it’s veggie. Cute atmosphere and friendly staff. I wish they had more savoury gluten free things.

Bubby Rose is the most predatory place I’ve ever worked.

The owner constantly pays employees for less hours than they’ve worked. We had to add our own hours up at the end of every week and let the owner know how much we were underpaid.it was almost impossible to get him to write another cheque and some one of us were never paid at all for hours we worked.

We had been instructed to re-use coffee grounds in customers drinks to save money, which we refused to do.

During my time there, countless people were fired for no apparent reason. The owner always refused to give grounds for the termination when requested.

My last week of tips *mysteriously* went missing after I exited.

The entire staff is treated like garbage and expected to go above and beyond while receiving the minimum pay by law and never receiving as little as a “thank you” for fixing the owners mistakes.

To support this business is to support workplace inequality.

Very pleasant staff, out-of-this-world-tasty scones that they use in the breakfast sandwiches!

I wish I lived in Victoria just to go here. I had the breakfast sandwich and dear god it was heaven. The fresh baked scone crumpet thing it came on was delightful and rivals almost any breakfast sandwich Ive had thus far.
We also had the dark chocolate cookie with spice and sea salt. It was the perfect embodiment of a Mexican hot chocolate and I am craving another. The staff was very pleasant and the cafe itself is cozy and clean. Highly recommend and will be telling everyone in Vancouver to visit.

I’ve been here a dozen times with friends and it’s always enjoyable. They have amazing mochas and it’s what I usually get. Their croissants and breakfast sandwiches are definitely worth the try if you’re looking for something savory. All of their desserts are delicious. They are also open pretty late which can be nice after work/school.

Ordered smoked turkey pizza and a Greek salad for pickup.the lady on the phone who took my order was completely lost.forgot what I ordered over and over.took her 3 times to get my phone number right had to keep repeating myself.went to pick up my order.no Greek salad.waited extra time for them to make the salad.took the order home.no Olive's in the salad.completely wrong pizza.got a Hawaiian.and it was disgusting soggy fall apart pizza.phoned them back to complain they argued with me that the pizza was correct.quadra and kings location.zero stars and I will not be back.ever!
