Buckerfield's

Not too impressed by this store. Hardly had any items to buy other than pet toys and food.
I thought this was a garden shop.
I bought a 8" plastic pot and drainage tray and was shocked that it was $15

No impressed, went to buy a bag of Nutro dog food lamb and rice, price tag said $79, got to the till and cashier said it was over a hundred dollars, I said the sign said, $79 and she went and looked and saw the sign, went back to the till and just said sign was wrong and the price is now over $100 bucks. So I said forget it, left and went home and looked to buy it on Amazon, got the same bag, size, brand, same mix, for $61 including tax. I won't be going back to Buckerfield's

I purchased 2 Stanfields lined wool workshirts about 10 days ago. I wore it while chopping a cord if firewood when I noticed the seam on the right side unravelling. It was only the 4th or 5th time I had worn it. When I contacted the store they gladly made an exchange for me. Thank you & your staff for your great customer service. At $180 a shirt I was so relieved to find Buckerfields stands behind their products. Thanx again!

Update January2023.getting better and better. Lots more items for sale now. Garden center clean and well organized. Lots of seasonal plants, supplies and cute garden do-dads.

Excellent service. The beer was great, really great. Food tasted fantastic too. We wanted the falafel meal and were brought the starter.

I walked in.told the guy behind the counter that I am totally lazy and need him to basically spoon feed me my purchase. The guy was more than happy to help me out! I go to this location due to the fact that they insist on carrying the bags of soil to your car.thus.no shleping bags of dirt around a busy parking lot. Look for discount and end of season deals!

An excellent variety of large, healthy seed garlic and the best selection of bird seed in Parksville.

Bucket fields isn't just a place to buy plants there's chicken feeders, horse tack, food for dogs and cats there's even some interesting Christmas ideas like great jigsaw puzzles and while you're at it pick up your seeds for next year's vegetable garden

Tons of products available at this location. Plant selection is really nice. They stock some things you cant get else were in town. Great staff always helpful and friendly.

Love this store! And the staff is pretty awesome. Would have given 5 stars but I don’t agree with their mask policy. I feel they need to accept exemptions.

They have a really good selection of hummingbird feeders. From simple ones at a lower cost to some really fancy ones.

Great staff very helpful and knowledgeable. Their friendly staff and great supplies of home decor, animal supply and reasonably priced products I will definitely recommend and shop there again.

They don't stand behind what they sell and head office won't even call you back. Will never shop there again.

Bought a fruit tree! And they wouldn’t honour it it didn’t even take root went to return it and they would take it back it exchange for another one! So called head office twice they never returned our call couldn’t be bother! Our experience was not good, they was absolutely no responsibility on there before behave they didn’t care one bit!

Interesting selection of farm/ animal / nursery products and supplies. Good wild Bird selection of products/ seed but everything way overpriced. Staff is borderline rude. Indifferent at best. 'Your business interrupts their day' attitude. I wish I could say I enjoy going there simply because of the store content but never feel welcome and certainly not to look around and enjoy the experience. Just get in, get your stuff and get out. This has been like this year's before Covid struck. No other options for what my needs are, unfortunately.

They have decent selection, not great, decent. But they lost more points for the customer service. An older woman was my cashier and acted like she was doing me a favour by doing the transaction. Zero customer service skills. Had way more than I could carry and she didn't ask if I wanted a bag. I asked her and she seemed put out and gave me one small bag.
I'll definitely shop elsewhere.

Hard to find staff to help with products. Suggest they are issued a apron to identify staff members.

Enjoy shopping here however due to COVID the way the store is laid out its difficult for me since my mobility is limited

Super well stocked, and anything you could need for pets and garden supplies. Parking lot could definitely use an expansion!

Fun place to shop. Got a couple of nice clearance Xmas gifts and a new hummingbird feeder. Just a fun store. They seem to have a bit of everything.
