Food was healthy, wholesome and delicious. Ambiance was great as well. Took 1-star off because they serve dine-in food in takeout containers which seems a bit off brand as they sold dishwashing soap bars to reduce plastic waste in the environment. 5-stars if they used actual dishes and real utensils!

We loveee buddhaful and go very often. Although in the last two months, we’re 99% sure my partner has gotten food poisoning twice from their kale which he describes as “gone bad”. We’re really hoping they take better precautions to prevent this from happening again

Great vibe in this place! Had one of their bowls and it was delicious. They carried a selection of cookies from Bonus bakery so that was nice!

When I'm in North Van I like to get the vegan chocolate banana cookie and usually love it. When i was in town Monday the cookie was stale and too hard to even bite into. At $5 a cookie, I expect better quality. Disappointed.

Edit: tried their new blue coconut smoothie - so chunky it’s not swallowable, they rarely have gluten free snacks anymore like they did a few years ago

Not always the most consistent for food and coffee is sometimes burnt

My partner got me a takeout salad here as I remembered this place being awesome but it was pretty disappointing this time. The hemp seeds were sprinkled over the dressing’s plastic container, the veggies did not look fresh, the tofu was very bland, and the salad was overall very dry. For those prices, I’d expect better quality. It’s gone downhill in my opinion: (

The smoothies are delicious but certainly not okay with the amount of plastic waste that they use. Take about 8 minutes in the store and see how much of it is recycled. Again, not okay.

Such a lovely place, with some cool env friendly product choices.

The most expensive smoothie Ive ever bought but wanted to support a local business. I had high hopes. But it tasted like nothing. Basically a big cup of blended ice that was brown and slightly bitter. Very odd, not a hint of banana or dates or anything else that was supposed to be in there. First time I’ve ever thrown out a smoothie.

I'm not vegan and I'm not planning to be one anytime soon. Still I really liked the food and drink. Got some tips from Vegan friend though.

Today I bought my last over priced smoothie from Buddha-Full.

In an effort to support local sustainable businesses I have continued to support Buddha-Full.

However, today, they grabbed a previously made smoothie, added a cup of ice and served it to me without hesitation.

Mmm watered down goodness.

I understand the need not to waste food, and am happy to do my part but please ask me or do something but adding ice to make it seem fresh doesn’t work especially at the advertised prices.

What the heck happened to you guys? I thought you used to believe in something? Something close to the empathy we share as vegans for your fellow human being as well. I just watched a poor guy get reamed out for kindly asking for a paper bag and not having 95cents after spending $50+ on 2 bowls and a smoothie. He offered to pay with card and he still got attitude from the fearless employee that was snapping at him. I didn’t say anything and proceeded to eating my açai bowl which tastes like blended ice. When did profits become the end goal for the last place that preaches they are about something more meaningful. After speaking the world of this place for many years and being a return customer whenever I’m around, the açai quality was the last straw. Shameful

Cute little vegan cafe by the Lonsdale quay. The vegetable pakora is very tasty. The tiramisu was of a good size but I find it a bit too dense. Definitely took a long time to finish eating that. There are a couple of tables in the restaurant but it can become quite busy during lunch time. All their utensils are disposable.

Buddha Full's food & beverage options are healthy, convenient, and they always taste great. Plus, the staff is very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended if you're looking for a quick bite.

I go here all the time and love it for vegan food. Cozy bowl, grilled please and tiramisu is super yum! As long as you dont go near closing (otherwise they half shut down/cut corners 30 mins beforehand).

I need to leave this review cause im a regular and for those looking to buy coffee here. This place is a hit or a miss based on the person making the coffee. It could be the best in Vancouver or completely the worst experience you have in your life. Turnover at this place is pretty regular and the inexperience are jaw dropping-ly bad. If this was Tim horrors I would understand but, spending $5 for some trash coffee needs to stop. For those buying here, buy at your own risk

I enjoyed my pickup order, especially the mango-chutney. However I was underwhelmed the size of my smoothie and even more so, by no acknowledgement from staff after standing at the counter for a few minutes. I finally took initiative to look at the pick up order receipts, and found my order (with no staff assistance). I grabbed my order and said "thank you". Without turning around, a staff member with her back to me preparing food, said "welcome" in an unenthusiastic tone. Although pick-up orders are the new norm, and many are in a rush, it would be nice to have eye-contact or some level of acknowledgment while being in your space for 5 minutes. Human interaction is more important now than ever before I think. May be someone's only outting of the day coming into your Café. A simple warm greeting goes a long way. Food for thought ;)

Buddha-full was amazing food and services, and the environment in the store is awesome. They have anything vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free. It's really nice place to eat in North Vancouver

The smoothies are really good but the staff are so slow! Over ten minutes to make a smoothie when I was the only one in the store.

Excellent as always! I had the coastal bowl and a dig deep drink. The drink was perfectly sweet and invigorating, while the bowl was fresh and filling. 10/10!

We made it JUST in time for last call and I’m so grateful we did! We had the fiesta wrap, coastal vibes bowl, buddha-licious and vibrance-c smoothie! Delicious and full of flavour!

I was a regular customer for Coastal Vibes item on their menu. But today I noticed they just cut all the ingredients by half, while the price is still 14.xx.

Basically with tax and tip, I pay close to 20 dollars for a snack. I still needed to get a sandwich from the other shop beside Budda-Full, so I'll be full.

The only way, I change my review back to 5 star is I be refunded for half of what I paid.

I feel being taken advantage of, when I trust you and come back regularly but you guys cut from ingredients and give me half what you always gave in the past. I'm sure you've lost many others too.

Lovely boho ambience but too hot inside to sit inside, even on a 24 degree day. The menu is very expensive for having everything plant-based but I guess that’s the name of the game these days as it’s trending!

Really like it here. It's been a staple for me for wholesome, fulfilling vegan food. I also like the products they select for their small retail section - always bringing in new things to try. I will be honest though: everytime I order my regular smoothie it seems to come out different, and maybe 1 of 6 tastes like ice and almond milk, but I let it go because I really appreciate this establishment and what it offers the community.

Very filthy, especially kitchen area. Very overpriced. Kyla doesn’t know how to run a business, although Jeremy is a great chef.

My must have stop whenever I'm in the Metro Vancouver area for a Mocha Maca Chaga, they're my addiction! Any treat or meal I've tried is also incredible

Portions are a little on the small side. For the avocado toast I had, I ended up with one full piece of toast and a half a toast. I dunno if it's supposed to be like that but I've always had avocado toast with two slices. I mean, for the price, I'd expect two full slices of toast but that's just me. Otherwise, their coffee and food was good! More on the expensive side but the atmosphere was nice.

Only thing I can say is that they've got alot of waste going on. Everything is not reusable in that store as they put food in take out containers (even though it is recycle-able). As a vegan or veggie place, I'd hope that they would cut down on waste but I suppose it's just one way to run a business. I'd come again if I was in the mood for some veggies but would I come on purpose? Probably not.

We’re trying to eat more vegetable based meals, so we decided to pop in to this vegan spot. It was the first, full fledged vegan meal I’d ever had with so many ingredients in it, and it was so awesome. I had the Fiesta Wrap which came with salad, and it was a good portion that filled me up. We felt good and energized after eating here, not weighed down. I definitely recommend stopping in!

If you are in a rush, or want a quick smoothie or avocado toast, this is not the place to go. Even with a mobile order! That told me the order would be ready 20mins AFTER I had placed it, I showed up at the pick up time I was given, and proceeded to wait another 10 minutes.

Introduced to this fantastic restaurant at the Aurora Winter Festival. I was highly impressed. The food quality and flavour was out of this world. I wish they had more locations, but, I am happy to commute to North Vancouver to enjoy their selections again and again.
Food is fantastic, everything in restaurant is vegan so there is no need to second guess ingredients. The staff is friendly and helpful and always ready with suggestions!

They always have a great selection of plant based foods with delicious and mostly unique flavour profiles. The venue is bright, open and we'll decorated, and the service is always fast and friendly despite a constant flow of customers.

I got a Vibrance C smoothie today and I must say the flavours coupled with the flawless texture made it one of the most enjoyable things I've ever tasted. 5 stars. Make sure to visit this place when in North Van!

Very expensive, very slow, quality isn't balanced by those two negatives. Even by comparison with other similar food joints, this would be the last option I went to if the only other places open in the area were fast food chains or coffee franchises.

Clean, quiet, low key spot around 5pm, ordered the "kick start latte" and it was extremely delicious. I feel really good as well after drinking this beverage, good energy. Also purchased a box of sigmatic. Mushroom coffee mix I am excited to try. Will return for food asap

This place is spectacular. I wish I would live upstairs just to eat here every day. Delicious meals, great pasties, and really tasty. I’d give it six stars!

A bit pricey sure, but a first spoonful and I was convinced of the value for $ Flavourful and healthy ingredients - nice staff and nice cafe ambiance - definitely recommended

Rough and ready seating, elegant and healthy food, casual clientele and happy staff make for a wonderful evening up the hill from the old shipyards.

This is the best little vegan gem in North Van! Their kickstart latte is delicious, and their seasonal menu is always phenomenal! Check them out asap.

I had the most delicious and decadent dessert here - the nanaimo bar - so that's why I'm giving it a 5-star review. It didn't give me a crazy blood sugar crash, it was very balanced. Loved the atmosphere here and would love to come back on my next visit.

Very good for a healthy meal. Little of the pricey side but you should leave Vancouver and never return if youre not expecting that! Nice staff and neat atmosphere that feels fresh and healthy.

A good selection of smoothies, snacks, and food. It’s one of my go-to places for a quality smoothie, but be prepared that it takes a bit of time to prepare.and they don’t come cheap.

It’s usually buzzing with activity, or big fans moving air, inside. Cosy place, some seating inside and a small patio outside.

I am quite disappointed by my visit. I had to wait close to 5 min for the employees to finish chatting before getting served. The guy seemed super grumpy and unpleasant. The oat bar that I bought want nearly as good as what I paid for it. Had to go across the street to The Green Moustache (another vegan spot) and had an amazing meal with amazing service! The person who worked there apparently used to work for this Buddha place and hated it. I guess I wasn’t the only one who wasn’t treated properly

I'm over it. Expensive given that the offering is ordinary. Consistently inconsistent. Questionable cleanliness. Clearly they have no interest in the customers.

Best by far for food quality, truly amazing, well done. I love this place and will still go back for more, the reason for the three stars is because the place is so slow to get anything, its not always busy. Im watching the girls work but nothing is happening, why so slow? So today i called and tried to order over the phone for my smoothie and do a pickup, nope no way go on line and do it, OK, how millennial of you guys, disconnecting

Yummy! This is a vegan place so all is good on the menue here! I had the 108 smoothie and a samosa! Both where great. I totally would recomend this place to anyone. Healthy, fresh and such a cute vibe inside. Everyone here is friendly the service was great. This is my lunch spot hands down iam addicted!

The food is very high quality and somewhat expensive, but that is what I am looking for, organic, pure ingredients and large serving sizes, which this place offers, try the LoBo smoothie with a quinoa salad, so bomb!

Lovely menu with some very delicious bowls - had the new Shaka Bowl with quinoa! Also very clean and aesthetic. However, it would have been nice to know prior that bowls and many of the dishes are only available after 10am - didn't make the greatest breakfast spot due to that.

Great smoothies. The bowls not so much - it's basically a smoothie in a bowl with granola and stuff on top.

This place has gone downhill from the time it started. I went in the other day and there were no signs on their displayed meals. I wanted two small protein bars and asked what’s in them- none of the staff had any clue and had no idea what the price was so they wanted to charge me 10 dollars- I know that’s the wrong price.

I went across the street to Green Mustache and had a much better experience. Hope you guys get back to where you were: a little less pretentious and a little more knowledgeable on what you’re serving and supposedly making in house (and therefor should know what’s in them)
