I showed up at Budget believing I had an exhaust leak after having spent weeks fixing my truck. Mike and his team checked it out and found nothing, but they let it cool off for a few hours and looked it over again. Still they found nothing. While looking at my truck, they found some loose hangers along my exhaust which had been rattling, and they tightened them up. When I walked back to get my truck Mike told me they couldn't find a leak and that they had cleaned up some exhaust issues while they had it on the lift. I was grateful for the work they put in, and asked Mike what I owed because they had put in at least one shop hour on it. Now, make sure you're sitting down. Mike said, "Nothing. " I was stunned. That is the kind of simple generosity and understanding that you just don't find very often. I will not go anywhere else again, and I would suggest you go there too. My truck doesn't rattle, my concerns are eased, and Mike earned a customer for life. Do yourself a favor and stop looking for a place to take your vehicle to. This is it.

Mike and his crew have been taking great care of my cars, most recently my cat was stolen he referred me to a tow truck and dealt with icbc and had the job done the same day!

Had a Chevy Cobalt from 2005 to 2023. Mike took care of anything to be done other than Chevy dealership at the beginning. The car and Mike never let us down. Definitely a 5 star place.

Have used Mike and this Budget location twice now, great experience and both times. Most recently Mike helped put a new catalytic converter in my car for 1/3 what it would’ve cost through Kia. Now I can continue driving this car, rather than have to get a new one, and that is a good thing

Don't recommend this shop, the front brakes and drums assembly was done wrong and that led to permanent damage on the assembly, still makes noise and doesn't work as supposed to. Will have to get fixed when I will get some free cash, so trying my luck for now. Also deliberately quoted low prices to get business and then when you go pay it will be higher than quoted, so beware of this sale tactic.won't be going there again.

Fixed an exhaust leak other shops said was impossible and wanted to charge 3.7k for new parts. They did it for under 200. Your problem / sitution / fix may not be the same as mine and prices may differ. However this should say something about their honesty and skillset. They basically saved me 3500 bucks in my given situation. Refused to do a fix that probably would fail soon after (that another place said they could do but sounded sketchy) and advised a long lasting repair for the same price well educating me on what doing it meant so I could decide. Extremely friendly and would advise going to them to get work done or even for a 2nd opinion.

Mike knows his stuff. My only concern is, sometimes it just hard to get an appointment because most of the time they're busy.

My friend's cat converter was stolen under his truck. I asked around and a good friend of mine recommended Budget Brake and Muffler. Brought the truck there right when they opened and Mike took care of it. Called around other muffler shops and received ridiculous quotes etc. Mike was straightforward, symphatetic and super helpful. They gave me 10 o'clock appointment saturday july 31 /2021 but when i show up the shop is closed, they did not contact me to let me know they will close that day, they don't care about customer at all i give them thumb down

These guys solved a problem that four - FOUR- other commercial shops couldn't find or solve, after many, many tries.

Without using their names, these other shops were big, professional operations for large scale commercial vehicles and none of them could find or fix our power-loss issue.

Not only did Fleetwood BB+M find and solve the issue, (of all things, a loose bolt in the catalytic converter? !) they did it in a day. A day! Plus oil change, electrical, bunch of other stuff. Dump-truck has worked great ever since and myself and my crew are very grateful. Top notch work!

It’s not always easy to find an auto repair shop that you can trust. I called this morning to inquire on having some muffler work done on my F-350.

From the quote to work completion was less than two hours. The team at this location checks off all positive boxes for me as a consumer. The staff from front office to the tech’s doing the work, these folks are truly professional.

They read between the lines as to what I was trying to accomplish with the scope of work and offered a solution that exceeded my expectations. All at cost that was extremely affordable.

Hi highly recommend the team at this location and would not hesitate to return or refer anyone looking to have any service they offer done on a vehicle.

I just took my Cadillac into Budget Brake and Muffler to have the brakes changed and was a little hesitant I don’t mind saying as I have had some bad experiences previously elsewhere. Mark greeted us at the counter and was very professional, friendly and he really put my mind at ease. Mark even noticed that 2 of my lug nuts were stripped, I didn’t even know this! That is an example of how much the staff pays attention to your vehicle. I really appreciated that he went ahead and changed them for me. Thank you Mark for being so wonderful!

Mike was friendly, the service was great. I had called to get a quote for my brakes, three days later it was in his shop and getting worked on. The price was on point as he quoted on the phone, no hidden surprises. I would definitely take my vehicle there again for other work if needed. I think I found my new favorite place. Had a HVAC issue Mike and his team were able to diagnose the problem and had it fixed in a reasonable time and price plus also help diagnose another issue days later and gave me options on the problem. Great service and friendly if you need a honest reliable repair shop trust these guys.

Had a check engine light flashing at 9 am on Sat morn. Called Mike at 10. Car was in by 11. Had a diagnostic and estimate within 45 mins. Car was done and picked up at 2 on Sat afternoon. Very professional no BS just great service

This accessibility review was completed by my social studies 9 class after a site survey.

When we went out business it was closed so we were not able to ask the manager about his/hers opinion on how accessible it was and any problems/changes that they would want to fix or implement so instead we conducted our research from looking through the window and the parking lot. The parking lot was somewhat accessible. It had 12 parking spots about 30 feet to the door but none of them are marked as a accessible. Its ground was very level and you could get to the door with ease. The door is a pull door; it looks to be a relatively decent weight. It is a manual door and does not have push to open button. The store looks very open inside and easy to get around on wheel chairs and scooters. Overall a decently accessible business.

I brought my vehicle in to this location as the one near my home on scott road was fully booked. Usually I get great service at the other location. I wanted to get some exhaust and muffler work done and they had botched the job. I had asked for something specific, to remove the mid muffler they ended up removing the resonators as well. The sound was horrible and I had to pay again for them to add it back. They could have told me they could not just remove the mid mufflers. The piping and mufflers were not welded on professionally and it was crooked. The owner Mike was very rude when I brought it to their attention. I wanted to get everything changed back to original because I wanted to be done with the whole issue. I took it in 3 times and paid extra to get everything completed and then changed back. When I left the car was making a really loud noise I took it straight back to them and they told me they don't hear anything even though it was so loud, I tried to reason with him and I put my foot down, turned out they "forgot" to add rubber sound deadening pieces and metal on metal was touching on the exhaust system. There are original pieces of my car still missing. It's been some time now and my car has never been the same, I still have random ticking sounds coming from the exhaust, which is another metal on metal piece touching. After taking it to a reputable muffler shop I was told that the job was not done properly, but rather hastily. The rubber pieces were also handled poorly which they ripped from removing and adding without any care. You would think mufflers being there main business that they would do a decent job with 3 different tries. I guess not. I would never go back to them again. Save your money and go to someone more professional that will actually take the time and care for your vehicle and not just consider it a pay day!

Amazing service! Very accommodating and easy to communicate with. I'm making the 30 min drive here for all my maintenance etc and it's well worth it to know it's done right and by trustworthy people.

Was way over charged for balancing and rotating tires $100. Versus midas at $49.
Also was given a low km. Reminder to change oil way to early on synthetic oil change. Sad that during these virus times they appear to gouge customers.be aware and take your business elsewhere.

I needed a new exhaust system on my vintage car. I phoned in the morning to see if the repairs could be done while I was at work. The job was completed in the early afternoon, despite parts having to be sourced and delivered. Great communication and expert service. Much appreciated!

I was referred to Mason at BB&M through a friend - the entire experience.not without its challenges due to my vehicle’s issues I was treated with upmost respect and courtesy. Mason ensured that my rental through Enterprise went accordingly. But more so, he was aware of my schedule and resolved my issues so that I felt comfortable. Definitely my go-to from now on!

Had my brakes done and noticed my engine light went on. They were able to diagnose and fix the problem all in the same day. It took some time, but at least I had peace of mind when I took my road trip the next day. Mike is no nonsense and very knowledgable, which I appreciated.

Was in a couple weeks ago to get my throttle body replaced, which they did. A few days later I was getting an oil change at another establishment and the mechanic asked me if I got my throttle body replaced lately. I replied yes and he pointed out to me the extremely poor quality of work that Budget Brake and Muffler performed. First off, the air in take hose was flimsily reconnected, not properly secured at all. The brace that holds it securely to the throttle body was down the hose away from the throttle body, just hanging there like the mechanic didn't even bother to connect it. Secondly, it was clearly visible to see where coolant was leaking and spraying all around the throttle body. Once we disconnected the coolant hose, it was easy to see a serious tear in the hose. There was no coolant leaking before I got the throttle body replaced. So it was clear the mechanic at Budget brake and muffler had damaged the hose while reconnecting it and not bothered to fix it. Only several days had passed since I had the throttle body replaced and I was almost entirely out of coolant. Had I not learnt of these two hoses being poorly connected, I would have definitely had larger problems in the very near future. Overall, I am very disappointed with the work at Fleetwood budget brake and muffler. It was blatantly clear to see they put in zero effort, care, or professionalism into the service I received.

Don’t not go here! I repeat please don’t go to this location! The other one in Surrey is way better.

He apparently removed and replaced my rear shock absorber yet the part was never even replaced! Same goes for my front control arms he said he replaced it. I took his word for it. It’s the same part that was on it before he’s scamming people.

Oh and even worse I get my tires changed over to my summer one then winter comes along and went to put on they weren’t even my tires! This guys a complete JOKE. And will be contacting corporate.

Fantastic service and Mike the owner is a great guy! Did a fantastic job with my car, as I recently brought my car in for new breaks and was very vigilant to make sure we had the best products for our car. Though we weren't expecting the amount of work that had to be done but he made sure that I knew everything that was going into the work being done and I couldn't be happier! Brought my car in for a wheel alignment. Dec. 7 after 2 hr. The mechanic asked if I had been in an accident to which I said no. Also said that the bolts were seized and that's why it took so long and that now it was perfect. Shortly after leaving I realized that wheel was still pulling to the right. Talked to the counter staff and arranged to bring my car back the following week.
Dec. 14. When I came back and talked to the counter guy I realize that they would not take responsibility for the fact that it was still pulling to the right. He said he had no reason to disbelieve his mechanic when he stated that it was perfect. At which point I realized that these people could not be trusted or that this mechanic is incompetent. At that point all trust was lost, I wasn't about to let them do any more work on my vehicle.

After having my car checked at a local dealership i decided to get a second opinion at Budget Brake in Fleetwood. Not only were they able to get me in right away they showed me around my car and told me that my car only needed a basic brake job. The dealership had quoted me over a thousand dollars, with Christmas coming up and being a single dad there was no way I could come up with that kind of money.
I left Budget with a smile on my face and a feeling of warmth in my heart.
From now on Mike and Jeff are my mechanics and I will tell everyone I know about the amazing service and trustworthy advice.

Auto service that you can trust. Didn't want to charge me until they could find the problem. Most just guess and replace this, replace that $$$$.
