Really disappointed with these guys. We spent $5000 getting our catalytic converter replaced, CV joints on our front wheels, wheel alignment and a power steering leak. There was scraping sounds when turning right in the front wheels so we took it back and they said they couldn't hear any sounds. Now we're getting it inspected in Alberta a month later and the wheels are out of alignment and they completely missed the steering gear leak and we're out another $2000 dollars.

Had another great experience at this location. Timely service, fair pricing and great mechanics! Aaron is always great to deal with at the front desk - everything is properly explained so there's no surprises when you get the final bill. Will definitely be back again!

Had a great experience here after a catalytic converter theft to my car. Dealt with Aaron who kept me posted through the process.

Needed a lot of work. I've used thus location over the years. Thanks Scott. Back for some seal replacements, had issue with drain plug days later, it was taken care of no charge.

The team at Budget got my car repaired in no time at all. They were factual and honest. They were more than accommodating to working out what diagnosed repairs were needed most due to my budget restraints at that time. My 1997 Camry now drives like a new car and I was more than happy with the results.

Booking an appointment with Budget @ Muffler on Marine drive I booked the repair the day before while Travelling through, Vancouver.
Inspection -$39.00-?
I waited at the shop and timed the amount of time spent on repairs (10.27 am out at 11.37 am;
Labour -$279 for exhaust
Labour to re-bolt a protection bar to front bumper $109.65
Seems excessively to me of Gouging to the Max
The Bill: Labour -$388.65 (1 hour and 10 mins)

Expedient service, helpful customer service, we're able to fit me in on short notice. Helped rebuild part of my exhaust and swap a starter for me, pricing seemed quite fair.

Not friendly. They do not give proper information to the client. I gave my car for repair for a catalytic converter and they damaged the brakes. Upon asking to fix that they refused and said it was not on their end. They even charged me before showing me my car. Very disappointed. I will never recommend anyone to go here.

This place is a joke right? I feel like its a fake business with fake people running it, almost like a movie feel to it, there’s mechanics there but don’t actually work on anything,

They do stand behind their product and services with an excellent warranty. Much appreciated with their effort on making customers satisfied.

Pros: I called and got an appointment on the same day

Cons: I was charged $1,400 for (both axle) rotor and brake pad change. And charged me for 3.7 hours of work. I’m not a mechanic but rotor and brake pad change won’t even take me close to 4 hours… when I brought this up the mechanic was not able to explain why this is the case. I feel overcharged but I needed the work done on the same day so didn’t really have much choice.

TLDR: get several quotes before going to “budget” brake if you’re actually on a budget
