The Budget Brake and Muffler in Langley is hands down the best mechanic we have ever taken our car to. Andy is not only a great mechanic, but also a kind and caring guy. We had to take our car to a dealership before where there was a lack of communication and seemed to be lack of knowledge. Contrast that with taking our car to budget. The communication is clear, service is reasonably fast and if you need it there is sometimes a courtesy car available.

We won't be taking our car anywhere else for as long as we love in the area. 5/5 recommend.

Just had Andy do my muffler and tailpipe. Prompt service. Did his best to keep costs reasonable, so I appreciate their service!

Staff was very friendly but quoted me almost $2000 to replace my catalytic converter and surrounding parts, when the only issue was that a part of the pipe system had fallen down due to the bolts rusting off. I asked for an explanation why the pipe system couldn’t just be reconnected instead of replacing everything, but the whole thing still seemed odd to me. I took it to a highly recommended, honest mechanic who ordered an $18 part to reconnect the whole thing, only cost me $190 after labour and tax. They showed me how the parts were not rusted enough to warrant an entire replacement and they couldn’t believe how ripped off I would’ve been. Thank god I went to get another opinion…

Had my brakes inspected and serviced. The manager is really friendly and polite, explained clearly and feels trustworthy. Good experience, will come back if needed other services.

Andy, the owner is very friendly and accomodating. He let my car in to fix the exhaust leak in the last 2 hours of the opening time. The work is done fast with reasonable price. I would highly reccomend this shop for anyone who need to have their car exhaust system fix!

Extremely friendly staff. Look for Andy when you come here. He’ll make sure you’re taken care of. The techs are very knowledgeable and are very detailed when working non your vehicle. I’ll admit I was a bit sceptical at first. But Po worked on my car and made sure I was informed every step of the way. Highly recommend this shop.

These guys are amazing. Look no further. Don’t waste your money at the dealer. They found the problem. It was a loose clamp. Fixed it in 30 seconds and sent me on my way no charge. The Nissan dealership wanted $800 for a new pipe.

Great service, My van started to make a lot of noise, I was able to diagnose it has to be from the exhaust system since the noise is directly related to how much you press the gas pedal but there is no way I can fix that on the road. I found the garage, he puts my van on the lift and 5 minutes later, he sees there is a loose fitting between the exhaust tubing, he fixes that et voilà no more noise. I ask how much I owe, he says it is OK, that was fast, no problem, just go and try it out, if ever there is a problem just come back. In 40year, I have never encountered that, such honesty and service oriented people, I would return any time.

I went there on, on late Friday, on October 16, to fix my exhaust. My car is old Nissan Inifiniti to begin and it has exhaust problem. When driving it makes loud noise. I took to this shop. They removed part of it and replaced with customized pipe to fix the leak. It seemed to be fine at the shop. I paid $150 for labour and material, for 30 minutes job. It was fair. However, after 30 minutes, I still have the same problem. On October 19th, I took my car, across shop, to Lang City Muffler. They lifted my car and check the problem, they charged $30 to tell me the issue. They found the pipe was too big and it was not installed properly and it still leaks. I don't wana give negative review because of poor quality workmanship. If I am driving old car, that means my budget is low and I expect my $150 can fix the exhaust problem. I feel disappointed since I saw many good reviews and that was why I took my car here.

I went to get my brake pads replaced. They fixed my brake pads, but when I went to get in my car, I noticed that there was food on the side of my door (on the inside). They had been eating their lunch in my car. I was disgusted. But, it was cheap, and they did a good job fixing my car.

Edit in response to owner: I am not mistaking this encounter and I absolutely have the right auto repair shop. I brought my 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe in and you lent me your silver Honda Civic. I came back and went to take my car back to my house and there was food smeared on the side of my car. Recently, you were not able to accommodate me, but this was back in May or June 2020. I also emailed your company about this, but they never got back to me. This was unprofessional, and you should stand behind your business instead of trying to shirk the blame.

The mechanic was so fast and the front desk staff where great. The prices where affordable. You will not be disappointed.

Refused to install a muffler that takes 1hr or less to install because they couldnt charge me for 3hrs of labour. No rot or anything just a simple cut out and throw in deal. Disgusting.

I called and spoke to Mike over the phone and he was excellent. I wasn't exactly sure what was going on with my car, but he was able to get me in the next morning. Within minutes, they had my car up on a hoist, and they had me looking at the problem. They gave me options, prices and time frames for everything, and had the work done before lunch. Unreal service and excellent communication. I'll be booking in my other car with them for a tune up, simply because their service was so great.

This family owned shop has a great atmosphere and energy. I just got a ECS Tunning valvetronic exhaust and CTS cold air intake installed on my 2015 Audi s4 on Saturday. The owner Andy and his brother Mike were so polite and respectful I felt like I was at home talking to my own brothers. These guys did all my work to very high standard and quality considering it was the first Valvetronic exhaust they have done. They did a very professional install for a very good price. I will be going back in February when the weather clears up to get them to install my Super Sport Suspension. Thanks guys keep up the good work.

The mechanics is so helpful mostly Mark. The staff and the manager help my son when his car broke down. They help first, and they will charge you if they can work on your car.
