Bufala Edgemont

Very busy restaurant. We should have made reservations but we were able to get a seat at the bar. It’s quite noisy but overall ambiance was good. Food & drinks were excellent!

Great pizzas and their garlic bread made from pizza crust are amazing. It's a bit busy and loud, but this only adds tonthe vibe.

Quality food & great service. Pizza is light and crisp, the burrata pasta is fresh and vibrant. Not to mention the Brussel sprouts… they hit with the lemon zest. Good cocktails and bottles of wine from $45 and up.

Didn't taste much truffle in the Truffle Fries and it smelled a bit too strongly of pecorino romano for some of us. My husband isn't too fond of cheese in general whereas myself and our daughter both love cheese. However, even she and I found the cheese to be a bit of a turnoff this time.

The pizza on the other hand could have done with a bit more cheese on it. We love ooey, gooey, stretchy cheese but there was no "cheese pull" to be had with these pizzas.

Aside from the cheese being too much or too little, we loved the food here. My husband said his Calabria Pizza was very tasty. My daughter and I enjoyed the flavor of the Margherita Pizza, and we all loved that the pizzas had a nice, crispy crust.

Earlier this year we had dined nearby at another pizza & pasta restaurant where the pizza crust had been quite disappointing so we were over the moon when we discovered how crispy the pizza crust was at Bufala.

There were these three bottles on the table. Each one contained a different flavor of oil which the server told us was meant to be eaten with the pizza. The green oil was a Rosemary Herb flavored oil, and this same oil had been on top of our Tuscan Bean Dip. We loved this oil! It tasted awesome on the Tuscan Bean Dip and wonderful with the pizza as well.

Spaghetti and Burrata was by far, my favourite dish of the evening. It's described as having kale pesto, Italian burrata and toasted pumpkin seeds on it; I was very sure that I could also taste lemon in it although lemon wasn't mentioned on the menu.

This place is my new favourite for pizza & pasta on the North Shore, and I very much hope to dine here again sometime!

A bit expensive for what you get. Only 1 slice of my pizza had cheese on it too. The patio is really nice on a sunny day though.

The food is YUMMY, here. Portions could be a little bit bigger for the price point. The pizza is amazing. Definitely would recommend this place to anyone.

Tried this place for the first time for my daughter's birthday the other day. Have to say the food was great so was the service.

Never ever order from here for pick up or DoorDash. They don’t know how to handle any volume and took two hours for order. If can’t handle it they shouldn’t offer it!

Great food, garlic bread, is amazing. Really nice staff and lots of fun. Kid friendly too which is a plus.

Great food, the prices are good as well. They also let us stay and chat and gave us space. Highly recommend.

We are absolutely glad that we found this place! Not only they closed late for weekdays (kitchen last call at 9pm), food and services are also fabulous.

I don't know how this restaurant only has a 4 star rating it should be 5 all day long, have only come here once and drove from maple ridge, well worth it would recommend new favorit restaurant hands down, nothing compares to the fantastic food and portion sizes all staff and management get an a plus for effort even on a busy Saturday wish they would open another in Port moody or maple ridge I would live here

I prefer to go to places that have good food and have a good vibe. Amazing staff, incredible food & inclusive place to be for all. Honestly, worth every cent. I've tried mostly everything on the menu and no joke, they're great.

First time coming here. Loved it! Very good food, pastas are amazing and definitely worth adding burrata to the pasta! Good beer selection as well, service was great they were very attentive even when very busy.

I popped into Bufala in Edgemont Village a couple of times this past week. I was pleasantly surprised to find this gem in what I thought was a very familiar neighborhood of mine. I met a lovely young woman named Stacey who worked there while I was sitting at the bar. Stacey (sp?) was very kind and friendly. She graciously even took care of one of my glasses of wine. A real class act and lovely establishment. I will be definitely back! Thank you, Stacey + Bufala!

Had a lovely dinner here thanks to Dine Out Vancouver, I really enjoyed the mimosas and the french fries the most, as well as the burata. Their pizza was delicious, as was the pasta. It’s certainly not cheap, but you get really good service and prompt food for the price. It was packed on a Saturday night and we weren’t waiting long at all!

Update Jan. 23 - dinner in-house. Rigatoni with beef/pork was quite tasty but small. Funghi pizza was good but wow what a lot of arugula on top. Not sure what was happening with service/kitchen (wasn't busy), but getting my pizza about 10 minutes after my partner finished his meal isn't the way we want to have a dinner out. No bueno.

Got takeout via UberEats - nice sustainable packaging, thanks. Pastas were tasty and WOW the tiramisu was the best I've had from a restaurant (tasted homemade, in the best way).

Great food.the service is ok.we showed up for a 430 Reservation that we donated money to have and 4 people working there said we needed to be out by 715.we had kids with us.it should be obvious we aren't dining for 3 hours.it felt rushed.and a bit confused.but love this place.food is always good

We had a great time at Bufala - staff party with 15 of us. Food was great, as was the service. Thanks to Taylor and a few others for taking good care of us. As NShore residents, we’re always glad to have awesome dining close by, thanks Bufala crew, we’ll be back. Table for two!

I live locally and come in with my husband for date night.

This is the best restaurant in Edgemont.

Great ambience, delicious food, quick service, friendly and welcoming staff.

We’re always well taken care of and I love that the menu is frequently updated depending on the season.

My husband is particular about his pizza and he says that Bufala have nailed the pizza base here. My favourite dish at the moment is the mushroom orecchiette. We both keep going back for the tiramisu too ️

We have tried to dine in this restaurant for 3 times but all of the times no waiter cares that we are waiting to be seated!
They looked directly to our eyes and ignored that we even exist and the place was not even full. I mean they were not even busy.
We changed our mind every time and we will never go there definitely

Service was very terrible, waited over 25 minutes after being seated for the waitress to take our order.

Once food was served, waitresse never followed up with us.

Food was aright but portions were small. Better options around.

We wanted to book a reservation for a group of 4 people and Bufala wanted $5 per person. We refused to pay their fee for the right to reserve. Two of us ended up going and found the service and food to be good. However the amount of inflexibility is beyond reasonable and all our table kept hearing from the server was. " sorry, no changes" and "that will be extra". The experience was ok but not worth the high prices and inflexible attitude that you get from the poor servers who are trying to sell their managemnts arrogance. We will not be going back.

Great service and friendly staff. The pizza was pretty good too, but couldn't put my finger on what could use a little improvement there. Nice atmosphere.

There are alot of nice bits but still hits a 3. Kale Ceasar was just kale with cheese and too many stems. Pizza was good. Service was slow. Nice atmosphere.

I've been eating couple of time at Bufala. The pizzas were decent and sitting on the patio add a nice atmosphere to the meal. However they started to ask guests to pay $5/person for reservation that will be donated to charity. So if you want to make a reservation for 4 people you will need to pay $20 up front. Even though giving back to the community is important it's not the kind of service you want from a restaurant.

I normally order pizza twice a week at Bufala and I really liked it. Recently the quality has changed and it’s favour less. It used to be tasty and so yummy but now it isn’t good anymore! The dessert especially tiramisu is good as always.

Have eaten several times at Bufala: dine-out, Mother’s Day brunch, and random Tuesday date nights. Always excellent food with generous portion sizes. The seasonal menu is thoughtful and there are great, unique, vegetarian options. Great service and friendly staff! Love it!

Nice little place. But.don't order the kale salad, unless you love kale and ground croutons. It was incredibly dry and bland. Some people might it but I think most people are looking for a refreshing garlicky crunch.
