Bulk Barn

Not bad. Just really wish it was open at 9. Not 9: 30. It starts to get a little late. Some people get their stuff done first thing in the morning. I’d find it convenient for it to at least be open by 9

This place is amazing! They have all the spices, baking ingredients, and foods available in bulk. Prices are cheap! Service is great! They even have some harder to find foods and spices, organic foods. It's hard to leave!

Wonderful store with fantastic cashiers ️ even with the odd hiccup caused by me buying too many discount things. The ladies are all super helpful, polite and always smiling. My favourite store to visit for a pick me up

Wanted to buy 2 types of sprinkles. One was twinkle medley and another was yellow sprinkles. They were in SEPARATE bags. One was around $6 per 100 g and the other was around $1.49 per 100 g. She took both bags and put them on the scale and charged them at the higher price. I said why? These are this price and the other ones are that price. She said that I’m mixing them so they’re all the same price.huh? They’re in separate bags. I tried explaining to her but she did not seem to comprehend it. I ended up buying just the yellow because she didn’t get what I was saying, just kept justifying her response which made no sense. I then got her to see how much JUST the twinkle medley was and low and behold when you do them separately, the total wouldn’t have been as much as she first charged.still she did not understand. Lol

Prices are decent depending on what you buy. I usually just go there when I have a sweet tooth, they have some pretty good gummies. I will say their employees never have engaged with me or asked if I need assistance, usually they are up near the tills talking to each other, could be about work, but it's kind of awkward once I get up to the till to pay for my items. I kind of feel like I am bothering them and they hardly even look at me. A little more engagement would be nice.

What! Not just candy.never been to bulk barn before. Surprised its way more then just candy and nuts. Almost every spice, soap, dog treat, snack food, coffee, tea, nut butter, it goes on and on hard to come up with what they don't have at great prices. O, got it fresh vegetables and fruit not here.

Well apparently this place doesn’t enforce the mask mandate. Lady walking around without a mask breathing and touching things, food for heaven’s sake. Store said they didn’t want to “make a big deal of it while she was shopping. Of course a white woman can’t say anything because you get called a Karen. Thanks Bulk Barn a bi$&h without mask on. I am dying of cancer and am immunocompromised. Glad my limited amount of healthy life left gets put in jeopardy because everyone is more frightened of antimaskers than insuring the health of it’s customers, and no the lady did NOT have a medical exemption. Well unless having zero compassion and only two brain cells gives you a medical exemption. No more shopping at bulk.

So disappointed to see no mask or gloves required in the bulk foods.customers were talking over the open bins with no masks, children lifting the lids. Please bulk barn tighten up your rules while we are in the midst of a pandemic.

It smelt of delicious candy in there! Mmmm. And the staff were super friendly and helpful. We even shared a joke or two. 5 stars. They have a great selection and a variety of choices.

I LOVE Vernon's Bulk Barn. The staff is very friendly, the store is clean and organized and they have been incredible at their COVID procedures to ensure safety to all. They have a large very clean store and the biggest selection of flours, grains, dried pulses/beans, baking ingredients, spices and teas, excellent chocolate, gluten-free items, KETO products, organics, coconut oil, non dairy alternatives. Try the low carb or gluten-free flours (such as Sorghum, Lupin, Nut Flours.)
They have bulk dog treats & dried bones for your Fido or Bowzer too. I like getting my birds treats here too. They have pet seeds, foods, etc.
Don't buy, rent unique cake pans here. Get your goodie bags and all sorts of treats for Christmas or Birthday parties.
If you are into supplements or a KETO diet and lifestyle, cook, bake, clean, have pets, make DIY gifts, like to do your own essential oil or soap making Christmas or birthday gifts then this is THE PLACE to get your ingredients.
Cake and muffin makers out there- they are the only place in town with Fondant, many colours, many flavours, tools for icing and decorating, displaying and transporting your baked goodies

I love Bulk Barns. Pretty near everything & anything you could want & then some. I love BBarn vs grocery bulk not only for the Huge selection but also they actually put nutrition facts as well, it's nice knowing what I'm buying has value a b c. This store is always clean & the staff are always around & willing to help. & the bring your container program is Awesome, some forward thinking!
