Its been over 4+ years i got my transmission fixed by them. Wynne and his team did a fantastic job and with the price they ask for is worth every of it.i highly recommend them because for this review to take so long is to test there skills 5 star! 100% still running strong to this day! Wonderful service at bullfrog.
Every place around town suggested I bring my vehicle in for the work to be done.
They saw my vehicle this morning and within an hour I was called about my diagnostic - as I needed a whole new transmission I passed with going forward with the repair. Wayne and coworkers were very understanding and helped with organizing my tow back home.
Couldn’t have been anymore grateful for their customer service and will certainly be back with any issues in the future!

It's not easy taking a broken down vehicle to an auto shop. But I can't say enough good things about the team at Bullfrog. The team really went the extra mile repairing and restoring a dead transmission and drivetrain. True professionals, the value they offered was well worth the cost. These guys are amazing. I had a problem with my differential on my truck (which is absolutely imperative for me to make my living) and was told by other shops either they either couldn't fix it or had no idea how long until they could find the parts (including dealer). Bull Frog and Neil were amazing they got me in and new OEM parts and back up and running in no time. They did what other shops said couldn't be done and at a reasonable cost as well. Thank you Neil you guys are awesome. I highly recommend this shop.

Quick service, keep you informed of progress. Fair shop rate with great customer service. Called us to let us know about difficulty sourcing a part so we knew what to expect in terms of completion time. Would use again.

Great company! My wife’s car was having some issues, they found a 2-minute fix and didn’t charge me. Very professional and highly recommend.

I took my collector vehicle to their shop to repair the transmission (reverse gear was not working). After paying over $500, I drove the vehicle home to not only have my reverse not working but now my drive is not working.
After I called them back, they arranged a tow truck and didn’t mention it would be charged to me. On top of not being transparent in terms of what is being charged, they moved me to the back of the line for my repair even though I had paid already. When I finally got the car back, I was charged outrages amount for labour ($1810.48). They discounted the first bills labour, however it was not the full amount. When I asked to dispute the bill, they didn’t care and pointed the finger at one another (general manager and owner). I have paid the bill but am not happy with the customer service. Very unprofessional and lack of care of the quality of their service.

Good service, knowledgeable staff. 5th gear of my AT wasn't engaging properly and would slip. Dealership told me I needed a new transmission ($5000). Bullfrog did a diagnostic, fluid change, and had the dealer re-flash the transmission control module ($400). No slipping so far. Definitely glad I got a second opinion at Bullfrog.

Great shop, knowledgable staff and honest. I was pretty sure my van need some major transmission work, but after their free assessment, I was advised it was an unrelated and easy fix that was the issue. Very happy with the service! Whew. Thank you Bull Frog!

My van transmission needed to be replaced as it broke down unexpectedly and I was worried about the downtime because we use the van daily for service and installs but Neil @ Bull Frog was able to squeeze me in and it my van up & running in just 3 days! Very happy with service and quick turn around, I was recommended to Bull Frog and now I see why. Great work guys, will recommend you when I can!

I have dealt with Bullfrog Transmission since 1977. I have always found them to be honest, professional and highly skilled. They are the gold standard in transmission service and repairs for South Vancouver Island.

Outstanding individuals, so kind, professional and extremely capable. Would give 6 starts if I could.

I had my vehicle towed off the malahat and dropped off after hours to Bullfrog, I called and left a message and first thing the next morning they called and let me know that they would look at it asap. Once they figured out what happened they called Nissan to confirm if the transmission was still under warranty as it's a known issue to the CVT transmission. Neil then called me to say bad news is the transmission needs to be replaced, but good news I have already spoken to Nissan and confirmed that they will replace it under warranty. The service was absolutely above and beyond and saved me around $8000. If I have another transmission issue, I won't hesitate to bring to back to them.

A friend recommended this business to check an apparent anomaly in my vehicle’s transmission.
I spoke to Wayne and arrange for an appointment, which took place 2 days later.
When I return to pick up my vehicle I expected at the very least a minimum check-up charge of $75 or whatever the shop rate may be: I was wrong.
Bullfrog did not charge for the check not only that, Wayne recommended a course of action for my mechanic to follow, which resolved the mechanical problem that was unrelated to my transmission.
I am very thankful for the action of this business; and anyone who is so generous and honest in its business transaction has my respect, business and my dollars when the time come.thank you Wayne, thank you Bullfrog for your business ethics!

I spent more than I thought I would but I'm happy with their work. They are very knowledgeable and look after both my cars.
