I've been going to this dentist for something like 8 years and they've always done a great job cleaning and providing a welcoming atmosphere. Gary is my dentist and he's always been welcoming and informative.

The people there are very friendly and very nice, especially Gary Hygienist, he is very professional and with a good skill. Also, he is very patient and have a good communication skills. I feel very comfortable in the treatment. Thank you!

With a Hiossen implant originally placed in PV Mexico which required special tools to complete Dr. Shirbani finished the job by placing healing abutment & crown at a fair price.
Very friendly and professional staff with all the latest modern equipment.
I would definitely recommend their office services!

They are very keen on not being 15min late penalty of $50 for patients on their text reminder, and their consent form. However, the dentist was half an hour late.

The dentist Dr Ahmadi is very nice and professional. The hygienist doesn’t not clean carefully and added a screening thing (35 dollars) without informing patients of the extra charge.

Highly recommended. I had no idea that I would have such an amazing experience at Burnaby City Dentist. I was treated very respectfully by the receptionists, Dr. Kamran Ahmadi, and Gary! What really impressed me was that they were very patient with me and tried to explain everything perfectly with details.

Came in for a cleaning with Gary, honestly never had such a thorough cleaning with no pain or sensitivity. Main dentist was a pleasure to work with and very informative! Highly recommend

I've been coming to this clinic for years now, and I've had a good experience.

Gary has been my hygienist this entire time, and his tips have been crucial to ensuring my teeth remain as healthy as possible (floss daily and use a floss stick if you can't use the thread, use sensitive toothpaste which is thicker and has higher fluoride content to offer better protection for your teeth etc).

I got a few root canals done here too and got my bite corrected (which I need to do again because another dentist elsewhere messed it up). They have been of the highest quality, and while work here isn't the cheapest, it has been super worth it.

Great front of house staff as well, they're really helpful and professional. Highly recommended!

It was good experience at Burnaby city dentist. The reception is super friendly and helpful and guided me clearly. I made the first call requesting for an emergency appointment with one phone call they got be in fantastic! Making sure you are comfortable throughout the the entire process. They are very knowledgeable and answer all my questions. My only wish would be I had contacted a lot sooner. Thank you for ur excellent service. Just got my wisdom tooth removed about an hour ago the doctor was very nice as well as the assistant made me feel very comfortable. I felt no pain during the procedure which I was really scared about but everything went very smoothly. Thank you so much

Had my teeth cleaning today - the first time ever! Am very fearful of having anything done to my teeth but Gary, the Dental Hygienist did a great job And painless! Guess I'll be back in 6 months! Previous review: I am 73, but a big baby when it comes to going to the dentist, so I had not been in 5 years! And previously I could only even have fillings under sedation. But today I walked in for an emergency exam and had to have a tooth worked on. Not only did I not feel any pinch, or any needle, the procedure was over in about 20 minutes! I didn't even know they'd finished all the work! Thanks to Dr. Erfan and his dental assistant. They were so gentle, helpful and very positive and now I'm going back for probably more work! Who knew!

Burnaby City Dentist is the best, and I will highly recommend. They did my dental implant and bone grafting for a tooth replacement and it was a beautiful and perfect experience. In addition the procedure was very cheap compared to other dental clinics. I consulted with several dental clinics before visiting Burnaby City Dental; one of the doctors at other clinic examined my teeth and told me my situation was very complicated, and I would pay 5k plus. With Burnaby City Dental I only paid $2,300 minus my insurance coverage. With other clinics, you must pay the full amount and then go to your insurance for refund of eligible amount; but with Burnaby City Dental, you only pay what the insurance would not cover; they would normally take care of the insurance for you. If you are out there thinking about doing same procedure but worrying about the pain, you’ve got to the right place. I had zero pain during and after the procedure. Just take your medication as prescribed and you’ll be fine. Trust me, you have nothing to worry about. I drove myself to and from the clinic, so don’t worry about inability to drive. Their dentist and staff are very nice, patient and kind. You’ll definitely be in good hands. Lots of parking space too…

I was so glad Burnaby City Dental was accepting new patients! They gave me an anxiety free first visit, which included a full oral check up, cavity filling and a follow up cleaning. All the staff were extremely professional and knowledgeable, and I did not have to wait at all when I showed up at my scheduled appointment time.

I found the place and people very welcoming and helpful. I have anxiety problem when it comes to dentist and they listened to me patiently and made sure I feel comfortable and relaxed. The dentist and his assistant looks so professional and they took their time to explain all the procedures step by step. I feel relieved and happy about my experience.

For the past years, cleaning has become a torture session for me. I have a tendency to build plaque, that combined with sensitive teeth made professional cleaning a nightmare.
After 3 years avoiding cleaning, I decided to try this clinic.
Wow.what a stellar team! From their kind receptionists, to their lovely and bubbly assistant, caring Dr. Ahmadi, and OMG. Gary! I never had someone perform such a painless cleaning like this before.
For the first time I look forward to my next cleaning.

Doctors and nurses here understand the pain we go through and give best advice possibly with pros and corns for us to assess and take the decision for the treatment. All staff are very welcoming and deliver the best service.

As someone with dental anxiety, this place was amazing. I had jaw pain, and was able to get a same day appointment. I unfortunately needed to have a tooth pulled, and they were very patient and understanding with my anxiety. I greatly appreciate it.

Best Dentist I've been to in all of my 23 years. The Dentist I had did an amazing job with my root canal. I swear I could have fallen asleep. 10/10 recommend.

In my experience, this place has great dentists Dr. Erfan is very knowledgeable, kind and professional person, providing quality care and giving you different options for treatments.
The Nurse Ms. Simran was kind and professional as well, the receptionist Ms. Katherine behaved very well and provided good information.
I would prefer this clinic if you want to have great dental facilities and treatment.

Terrible experience. I requested that my Endodontic specialist forward my dental CT scan to Burnaby City Dentist so I could forgo paying for, and subjecting myself to, a second CT scan within the span of a few days. Unbeknownst to me, my specialist sent pictures of my CT scan rather than a copy of the scan itself. In preparation for my consultation at Burnaby City Dentist, I confirmed on two occasions that they received my prior CT scan and that there would be no issues with using it in lieu of having another scan done. It wasn't until I arrived to my consultation that I was very rudely told that the pictures of my CT scan were insufficient and that I should have requested that my scan be burned to a CD despite no one telling me of this issue when I asked on two separate occasions. Quite frankly, I have my suspicions as to whether this information (my previous CT scan documentation being insufficient) was deliberately withheld from me until I physically came into my appointment so I could be strong-armed into paying for another Ct scan.
