What a great store. The owner Dave helped me with everything I needed. Good prices on Tamiya rattle can paint! Lots of model car selection. Saw lots of trucks too. I love the old school feel to the store. Reminds me of when I was a kid and these places were everywhere. I'm so glad a place like this still exists! 9months later I still enjoy coming to this hobby shop for supplies. Dave always has an answer to my questions about detailing and techniques. Thanks Dave. You're a Legend in my books!

Burnaby Hobbies has always been a vital resource.
Now even moreso with the last model railway store in Vancouver closed and moving to Langley.

I’ve gone to Burnaby Hobbies since 1981, when Dave and his father were running it together. Great place, Dave carries on the family tradition with great knowledge, good deals, and friendly service. If I hadn’t moved to Ontario in 2018 I’d still be going there!

My first visit showed that this is a serious model and hobby store with friendly, knowledgeable staff.

This is one of the best hobby shops I have been to. There's a lot of stocks in store from accessories, paint and RC parts to choose from. The owner is so knowledgeable and helpful. It is good to take note, his store no longer accepts credit cards due to the ridiculous charges he gets to pay the banks. I was told he might be closing the store in the next year unfortunately so if you are a fan of toys for the big boys, I highghy recommend this shop.

Great place to do shopping for all types of models RC and supplies. You might just find that one you're looking for.

Don't forget to support your hobby shop owners. If you live in this awesome city or surrounding area you could consider my point. Support local business the owner is a gentleman and will to help you get what you're after. I just ordered some Edward brand Photo Etch and waiting on some other supplies which i could easy order online myself. For me i prefer face to face transactions.

One of the best old school hobby shops in the Lower mainland! Tons of kits, paints, cements, tools etc and Dave the store owner is very nice! Take a look if ur ever around!

Great shop. Owner very knowledgeable. Able to source any and all traxxas parts. Prices reasonable. Service is pretty slow, seems like every time i come in there are people chatting up the owner and then the phone rings constantly.

Very friendly proprietor. Helped me and my eight year old daughter get some parts and repair my 30+ year old R/C car that I am handing down to my daughter. Was very helpful and patient with us. Definately would go back again.

Had a special project that I was struggling to find parts for and Dave, the owner of this amazing shop, went above and beyond to help me find what I needed and then walked me through how to set up the gear. The experience was a breath of fresh air and I fully recommend going to Burnaby Hobbies for all you hobby needs!
