Burnaby Mountain Park

Super nice park for the sunset and with a great view of downtown Vancouver. There is a large parking lot and toilets.

Burnaby is a famous park that overlooks downtown Vancouver and the coastal landscape. It is a must-visit place when traveling.

Burnaby Mountain Park is a hidden gem located on the side of Burnaby Mountain just below Simon Fraser University it’s claim is the wonderful view of the north shore mountains, Vancouver, Burrard Inlet and Vancouver Island. With this view it is another location to get great sunset pictures. Only negative if it’s a beautiful night parking might be a problem.

A must visit place. Provides excellent view of Vancouver Harbour and great treks. There is a rose garden in the spring which smells like heaven

Absolutely hands down one of my favourite places! Watching the sunset is INCREDIBLE from here (pictures don't do it justice), just wonderful!

So beautiful and lovely and such an amazing view of the city. Awesome gravel path walkways through a hilly park with views. Totem poles and beautiful mountain views.

AND a beautiful Rose Garden that smells like heaven!

Thank God and the burgomasters of Burnaby for this wonderful park. However, it'd be great if whoever owns the washrooms under the closed Horizons restaurant kept them open and maintained them.

What a gem! Stupendous views all around, from downtown to North Van to Port Moody. A chill way to spend the day next to the rose garden and among sculptures.

In midsummer, walking here is also very comfortable

Beautiful park for anyone looking to spot a view of a nice sunset. The only problem is the structures that kind of block that view. Other than that - I'd recommend this as one trip to make when one asks what they should do while staying in BC.

Great vistas of Burnaby City and the North shores.at the distance you can also see the Vancouver City. Great for picnics and bbq, spend time with family and friends.not a lot of parking spaces.so come early specially on a good weather when people tend to flock in parks.

It's a good place to bring a coffee at sunset and enjoy the view or have a picnic. I strongly recommend

Great way to start our little trip to Vancouver, great views, beautiful trees, hiking wasn’t too technical.

Good park to hangout with your family and do some picnic under the tree, then go for a walk and enjoy the scenery of the mountain and the lake.
Dog friendly with leash.
They have a small playground for kids too.
Washroom is available near paking area.
Parking is limited like 50-60 cars.
It get busy in sunny warm days.

This place is beautiful, we went for a hike at the end of April and the cherry blossom was amazing. However, we met a bear so be careful.

Love it, said this many times. Go for a view, if stuck and bored or wanna make a date feel good.

Beautiful views out over vancouver and the surrounding mountains, would recommend a stop if your in the area
