Easy access, nice surrounding, suit for family activities with aqua playground facilities for kifs and so on.

The staff are very warm and gentle, and the experience is very good. The view from the reading place is also beautiful!

Beautiful Library and location. Unfortunately the rude, (and honestly god awful staff and other patrons) ruin the entire experience. If you are there to study in a quiet environment. You WON'T find it. You will find that the staff and other library patrons actively discourage certain people from being there and studying by talking loudly around them. Making all sorts of noise around the person including but not limited to banging hard cover books against metal book shelves while "working" and putting away books. (If you move to a new location they all of a sudden will bring their cart full of hard cover books closer to you and start banging away again.) Spying on your computer and monitoring what you are doing is also common practice.

Beautiful and peaceful place to read, borrow and return books.

The library is very spacious with lots of desks and sofa, chairs area. The window view to the playground is stunning. Beautiful garden by the library entrance.

It has books. The librarians will help you. As far as I am aware that is all that is required in a library.

Great selection of books for kids and comfortable seating, and big windows overlooking the park.

My favourite library. You can sit at one of the couches by the beautiful windows toward the back overlooking Confederation Park's running track. There's large selection of books and computers for usage.

Great that the libraries are open again! The McGill branch has switched to completely self checkout, which I love. There are still staff at a central desk area that can help you if needed and also check out the books for you if self checkout machine is down.

My favourite place to study. They have tables along the far side of the library that we big and well spaced out. Next to the tables are massive floor to ceiling windows that look over the mountains and let in TONS of natural light even on grey days. I once saw a rainbow while I was studying there and nearly cried at the beauty of it. No one else seemed to notice or care. So it was a beautiful moment just for myself. ️

The staff are also very friendly and kind, but they won’t hesitate to tell you off if you’re being too loud or not wearing your mask properly.

Go there to observe the crows outside. If garbage isn't fully deep in garbage bin, the birds know how to pick stuff back up

This is my favorite place to bring my baby, but it is kind of weird to see a bunch of grown adults trying to read.luckily, no one complains so i give it a 4/5.would rate it 5/5 if there wasn't so many inconsiderate grown adults in the way, reading

Very nice library. It's clean and the books are well organized.it's one of the few libraries in Burnaby that seems to have a limited amount of carpet.as such, it looks clean. When you're at the Metrotown library, the carpet looks dirty and makes you feel like the place could do with a big clean.

Lots of places to sit. Washrooms were clean.the water in the drinking fountain is ice cold (nice!). Definitely in a nicer /safer neighbourhood, you just return your books by putting it on the counter, there is no return slot. At other libraries, you feel like someone dodgy is just around the corner and would probably take your books if you just left it there.

One thing, noise does travel in this library.every conversation somehow feels louder and right next to you. I can only imagine when the seating area is full of kids studying, the chitter chatter would fill up the place

Less than 5 mins walk from bus station (B line, 130,129,) and you can enjoy the environment with full windows to the park.
The library doesn’t have silent room though but still you can use the desks on both sides of main area and study.

It's a great place. The only thing I wasnted to they do better is the section for teens, they could add more content there.

Nice place for studying. Comfortable and quiet.
Just one problem: Wifi is not good in the corners.

Clean spaces. Great selection of books for every age and in many genres. If a book is available in another branch, you can place a hold and they’ll bring it to this branch soon.

Lots of resources and peaceful at the back away from entrance. A little bit cold so make sure you have warm jacket.
