Busan Daeji Gukbap Korean Restaurant

Didn't queue up for Korean food with soy sauce crab, then went to the first one on the side of the road, the service was ok, the lighting was super dark, and the taste was a bit disappointing~~ I ordered a seafood pancake, which was a bit too oily, and it tasted like oil, which didn't meet my taste; but the kimchi tofu soup was excellent, full of deliciousness and warmth; however, the fried chicken was disappointing, not crispy, and the taste was not as satisfactory

The pork bone spice soup has weird taste I never had before. Meats in the Korean sausage soup so hard to chewing and a bit smelly

5 star for the food
4 star for the service
3 star for the cleanness

All of their pork soup are soooo good!
Service wise could be better, seems like they are super busy with their duties, even though the restaurant wasn’t too busy, they could pay a bit more attention to the customers! But over all good service!

Tables & floor are a bit greasy, but I guess that’s a sign of good food?

Went there kind of out of the blue and ordered some "cattle" hot pot soup, which we thought was beef, but turned out to be all pork (bummer). The taste is good but the pork has some kind of smell to me which we don't like. Main problem was that we all felt really thirsty after the meal, which was really uncomfortable! Food tastes decent, but would not recommend.

I tried pork stew and garlic fried chicken. The chicken was okay but the stew was way to blend. I asked the server if they could redo the soup but was refused. I did not finish my meal and it was not a great experience

If you are near the lougheed area try this place out! Their food tastes amazing and friendly staff! A young waitress helped us out and she was super kind and helpful. Would come again with my friends.

I came here with my friends and service was good even though the place was busy! Tried their new chul-pan-soon-dae soup and it was BIG! The gob chang didn’t have that fishy smell, I’ll be back

I'm from Busan and their "Busan Daeji Gukbap" or pork soup from Busan doesn't taste anything like the original I grew up with. But some of my friends who've never tried the originals seemed to like some of their dishes so give them a try.

Hard to communicate with their waitress. Mistakenly placed the size of food. Also when I phoned them to order a take out, after 10 minutes miserable chatting, I ended up drove 15 mins to the place and finger pointed at the menu.

I don't understand why they would hire someone who doesn't know English, because how do you communicate with the costumers? The old lady (a waitress) couldn't understand what I asked for, and I ended up getting the wrong food, which was very frustrating. Not only she can't communicate, she also slams the spoons and cups down on the table which made me feel very unwelcomed and rude. Never going back again. Horrible service.

Food is good but too pricy. The soju is $16, which is way higher than other restaurants. Not worth it.

They just threw in raw chicken thighs in a pot and boiled it with hot paste. The chicken just taste like white meat chicken. Not even marinated. Side dishes are not fresh, radish smells like socks. Paid 50 dollars for boiled meat.

This is one of the best korean restaurants in Coquitlam! Service is super good and the food is awesome too
