I went to Busy Bee to alter my wedding dress, my moms dress, and a bridesmaid’s dress and they were absolutely wonderful to deal with! I had 2 fittings and a final try on for my wedding dress and was extremely happy with the work. My alterations ended up being a bit pricey due to the amount of layers/work needed but well worth it for my once in a lifetime wedding dress! Ask for Evelyn, she was great to deal with:)

This is the best dry cleaner in BC. Never a problem. I have had stains that other DCs could remove from expensive garments and BBG always comes through.

The cost of getting a coat cleaned here made me think about the many ways the clothing industry is unsustainable. I got a coat cleaned and it cost nearly $70 after tax. It would have been cheaper to pop to Winners and buy a new one. Given the chemicals used in the process it will be a tough choice next time.

I was recommended this place to by many people, even by the salesperson at the designer store of this hoodie that I needed cleaned, had only wore the sweater once and Busy bee shrunk it could not be worn anymore. I told them on the spot, because I tried it on as soon as I picked it up, they said they could fix it, who knows how then they keep it for 2 weeks never called me, I call them to ask if it is ready, I pick it up and it’s literally the same thing, do not go here over priced and they don’t know how to handle any time of designer clothing.

A bit disapointed as when I dropped of my wedding dresses we went together to all point that need to be fixed and when I got back just the stain was removed. Will not go back.

We have been using busy bee for a number of years. Their service has always been very pleasant in the store. They are a bit pricey, but we have found it difficult to identify a cleaner in the area to provide more natural dry cleaning for less. In an ideal world!

They did an amazing job dry cleaning my lace dress for my son’s wedding at a considerably less than any other quotes I got. Staff are very friendly and took careful note of the things I pointed out. I'm VERY happy and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Busy bee could not hem my pants satisfactory. I picked up my pants and had to take them to another tailor. The stitches were visible and tight.

You can tell as soon as you walk in the door that they really care about you as a client and want to do their absolute best job for you. I'm super happy with the service they've provided over the years. Nowhere else in Vancouver offers the same consistent excellence, day in and day out. My clothes always look fabulous and I look forward to picking them up each week. I won't trust my threads to anyone else. Our family dog also really enjoys the visit!

I have a babydoll dress that needed to be altered. I made an appointment online for a 9am Monday consultation. I was there on time, but unfortunately, my tailor was around 15 minutes late for the appointment.

It was quick though. It only took my tailor 15 minutes to go through what I wanted to change. She told me it would be ready by next week. I asked if she could do it by Friday, so it's a very rushed order. She was hesitant but still said yes!

I picked up the dress on Friday and I was very happy with the result. The service was pricy but at least they told me upfront how much it would cost during the consultation. They didn't change the price when I picked the dress up. To be honest, it was worth it. I will come back for other alterations in the future

Friendly staff who listened to my needs and made me feel comfortable that I was leaving my garments in good hands.
The repairs are decent and the cleaning exactly what you would expect from a dry cleaners.
They're not the cheapest service, but the quality is worth the premium.

Had a white shirt and khaki dress pants in very bad shape. After reading reviews for Busy Bee Gold decided to go there, as other services in the area did not have the same positive remarks. When I l picked up I was told that some stains in the pants had not come off (there was a card attached to the bag that mentioned this as well). When I got home I tried to find such stain, but couldn't find it in fact, or it isn't visible at all. The white shirt that I was almost losing hope on was super clean. Very happy with the outcome, highly recommend for all of your dry cleaning needs. Customer service is professional and helpful. Upon drop-off, staff will immediately mention any issues and date when your clothes can be picked up. Prices are reasonable.

They're the best in the business and they are pet friendly. My toy poodles (lavender and wee Chappie) knows the ladies and they love coming here. They get special treatment aka lots of attention.

This drycleaner and tailoring service is the best in Vancouver. You will feel the difference in the level of service. The employees treat the customers and their clothing with the highest level of respect and go the extra mile for elevated service. The atmosphere has been thoughtfully curated to make your mundane errand, a pleasant experience.

Evylin is the greatest tailor I have worked with. Kind, professional, and extremely skilled. I really do not think anyone else could have pulled off the job she did on such a short timeline for my wedding dress.

I took 3 suits here to get them altered. I was frustrated as I had already taken them to another place for alterations and, after returning not once, not twice, but ultimately on 4 times without success (they blamed my “flat back”).

I just picked up the three suits from Busy Bee and they fit great! I have broad shoulders, a (relatively) narrow waist, and very thick legs/glutes — basically a suits’ worst nightmare. These suits fit better then when I bought them (made to measure).

These people are pros, and the prices are still very affordable. Pick up was a couple days late, but this was a fairly large/complex job and I had communicated that I was in no rush, so I’m happy they took the extra time instead of rushing to meet an arbitrary deadline.

The seamstresses here are AMAZING! They did the best repair job on my brand new aritzia jacket. Honestly was so nervous that I wouldn’t wear it with a noticeable patch on it as Im VERY picky… although I don’t know how she did it but you can’t even see the patch, I couldn’t believe my eyes! Im over the moon happy!

Not transparent with their pricing on the phone. They give lower rates but reality is different when you get there. Also very long wait to get your duvet back. Almost 5 weeks.

While the process took a little while, I couldn't be happier with the way my wedding dress turned out! When I dropped it off it had a very large discolouration along the front of the dress, but now my dress looks pristine! I literally teared up at how beautiful my dress looked!

There was some missed communication during the time my dress was being cleaned, but the owner was very professional and took ownership if the situation which was much appreciated.

For any 2022 brides looking to get their wedding dress dry cleaned here, I was quoted $365 plus tax. They also have 200+ wedding dresses currently being dry cleaned so they wouldn't be able to actually start cleaning it until November. I chose to go somewhere else.

These folks do amazing work! They got some impossible lipstick stains (washed and dried into my clothes) put of some of my favorite pieces! 100% will go back and recommend.

Amazing service and quality of work! I got oil all over my wool pea-coat and I was 99% sure I ruined my jacket however I took it to Busy Bee Golds and they fixed it. The jacket looks better than when I bought it and I was so thrilled with the service! Fast turn around time and now I want to take all my clothes there!

My $8000 wedding dress has never been returned to me. Every time I contact them I am assured that my dress is fine and given a reason why I haven't heard from them but it has been over 4 years and at this point I've come to accept that I may never see my dress again. Very devastating.

When they examined my wedding dress they knew exactly what needed to be done and explained what the process was and why which gave me confidence that my dress was in good hands. My wedding dress was very sentimental to me so Busy Bee Gold were extremely patient with all of my questions and answered them knowledgeably. When I picked up my dress my first thought was that it almost looked better than on my wedding day! They were able to get everything out and put it in a beautiful box. I really was excited to try this place out as I was looking for a new alteration store. First time using their services, the lady charged me a whopping $80 before tax for alteration of a jacket and when I got it back, it was basically the same size before I had brought it in. I will not be returning.

Busy Bee was in charge of cleaning, repairing, and boxing my wedding gown. My initial meeting with their consultant was great. Their front staff is consistently friendly and kind. There were a few hiccups with the restoration of the gown, and Mohamud (the owner) has been patient, generous, and apologetic about the situation. I have appreciated their customer service and would recommend them.

Brought in a women's cotton jacket for dry cleaning. When I went to pick up the jacket, the price was $10 more than what I was originally told when I brought the jacket in. Their excuse was it was a sports jacket. They must be blind because it's clearly a women's jacket. I should of inspected the jacket as soon as I brought it home but waited til the next season. They did not clean the jacket at all. There was a stain under the collar that I told them about. The stain was still there; not even faded and still had the green sticker they taped beside the stain. Pure first class scammers. Never will I visit this place again.

If there was 10 stars then that is what I would give. Yes, there are cleaners that are a less expensive, but you get what you pay for. I am not a fussy person but I was tired of getting stuff back from my regular cleaners with notes saying that they could not get stain out, or a cream shirt coming back white. I left about 6 items of clothing with Busy Bee Gold last Saturday and got them back yesterday - and honestly, you would think everything was brand new. Great cleaners and can't say enough of their staff at the front end as well. Lovely, friendly girls.just great all round.

Super nice service and very reliable. We get clothes cleaned when things are precious, and tailoring of shirts, pants, repairs and all come back above and beyond expectations.

I was looking for a place in the area to get clothing alterations done. Took my new pair of jeans for hemming to Busy Bee Gold and that was a huge mistake. Asked to keep the original hem and they DID NOT. The stitching looks like someone with no experience has done it, so sloppy and uneven, left side is 1 cm longer than the right one and on top of that it took one week - which is absolutely ridiculous. I wouldn't recommend their alteration services to anyone.

Always fast and friendly service. Always take my problem clothing. Never any problems when they are returned.

I can’t speak to their cleaning/laundry services but I can tell you that they helped a lady today who desperately needed to pee. All the washrooms at 7-11 and Subway were either not for public or not in service. And I ran into the Busy Bee to ask to use their staff bathroom, they were very nice and accommodating especially since I had an important appointment right after. They even wished me luck as I ran out!
Thank you to the staff and manager there for accommodating me in my desperate need:) I am so grateful.

Can’t complain about the qualify of their work. But some staffs are rude and the pricing is quite high.
