I recently purchased a vehicle from Butler Auto, I received friendly and approachable service. I am super happy with my choice, and the guys (Sappy and Karn) made the experience a breeze. Karn was knowledgeable in guiding me though my financing options and working with my budget. Highly recommend.

As late season campers, we were struggling to find a fresh water fill for our tank. We pulled into Butler auto/Rv and the nicest man helped us, he turned back on their ourdoor tap, talked with us as we filled and genuinely was interested in our adventures and experiences with our truck bed camper. Purchased a GMC sierra 1500 from Matt and was very satisfied with how professional and kind he was. Karn also made the process extremely easy and smooth. Karn and Dave answered all of our questions and when it came time to make the trailer fit into our family's budget Karn made sure we got what we needed and explained everything so we knew exactly what we were doing and getting. Purchased a 2022 Bushwhacker from Butler. We are from out of town and the guys have been amazing. Sappy and Karn made the experience seamless and pain free. The gentleman were transparent, had great suggestions and walked us through the whole process. I definitely recommend anyone to see these gentlemen for their RV purchase. They have cars and trucks too!

Purchased a trailer form here and was treated extremely well! Sappy in sales really explained the trailer well and the finance manager Karn explained the paperwork perfectly! I got a lower interest then I expected and he broke down everything in the loan so it was super easy to follow. I am happy and will recommend Butler to everyone I know!

When going through financing we were not told the full overall costs of the protection plan and the insurance. There was no discussions of options of pricing or additional protection. We were charged the ultimate plan and did not find out till our first statement. We cancelled, then still needed to get them to correct the amount that we were supposed to be refunded. They offered a cheque lower than expected with no explaination. When questioned they tried to convince us that we should be happy with what we got.

Worst experience ever! Make sure if you buy off these guys you get a clear break down of what your paying for. They like to place you at the most expensive level of protection and not tell you the over all price. They charged us $13,000 dollars in extras. Don't forget you have 30 days to cancel with any policies with these guys. Took a week and a half for them to clean the unit and we had to get mad for them to release it to us. Never buy from these guys not worth the hassle.

Worst customer service ever! I contacted Butler RV for an ICBC repair in November 2021. The service manager told me to bring my trailer in and that they could work on it. I didn't hear anything thing from him and when I contacted him he said he was searching for parts to do an estimate. He told me he was unable to find parts but he never contacted the manufacturer. I contacted the manufacturer myself and was able to locate parts this way. I then gave the information to the service manager. He then told me he was unable to purchase the parts. I contacted him every 2-3 weeks over a period of 8 months and no progress was ever made. Then 2 weeks ago I contacted the dealership and they said they were happy to hear from me because they had no contact information for me and didn't know who my trailer belonged to. The service manager had been fired and I was told by the new service manager that nothing had been done (no research for parts, and they didn't have any of the information I had given them). He said I would have to wait until the fall before they could even look at the trailer. I told them that this was unacceptable and that because they had already had the trailer for 8 months I should be at the front of the cue. They did manage to get an estimate from ICBC but they told me that they did not have time to work on the trailer and told me to pick it up. Most businesses would have apologized and done everything they could to make the situation right moving forward. But not Butler-they didn't care that I had not had use of my trailer for a whole camping season.
I may be looking at purchasing a newer trailer in the future - it definitely won't be from Butler! I guess the owner was not serious about getting to the problem I have not heard from them

Purchased a trailer from here a couple months back, nothing but great service I was very happy! Matt our sales person was very knowledgeable on different trailers, and helped me pick the best one. After that I spoke to Karn in finance and he was very professional and helpful. I got a lower interest rate then I expected in todays market! He was very clear with the paperwork and answered every single question I had. Not only that, but he offered me financial guidance for the future to help my overall credit! Very happy with Butler!

I came to this dealership last year because they had a modified rubicon I was thinking of buying! Super clean unit, Sappy the sales person that showed me the Jeep was very polite and let me view the vehicle thoroughly. I then saw the finance manager shortly after, I’ve been to dealerships before and never had the best experiences with finance managers. Karn was amazing and professional and broke down scenarios that made sense for me at the time, he was super easy to talk to and answered all my financial questions. I didn’t purchase the Jeep as I didn’t leave a deposit and it sold shortly after but they did inform that someone may come to also look at it and did also let me know with a courtesy call that day to inform me that it may be sold.but all in all these guys really went above and beyond and made coming into the dealership a blast!

My family purchased a trailer from here. Sappy was very knowledgeable, polite and helpful. He helped us pick the right trailer based on what we wanted. We saw the finance manager, Karn, shortly after. He was polite, knowledgeable and easy to follow. He broke down the loan and explained the fees with the financing. He also gave us great financial advice. We were able to get the loan structured how we wanted and we were in and out of the dealership in a timely manner! These guys are great to work with and highly recommend!

My family are I were travelling from Alberta to the BC coast when my truck started shaking like it was about to fall apart. After calling many mechanics Butler Auto was the only one able to help us out. Stuck far from home and far from where we had to be they loaned us a courtesy van as it was late in the day and they were not able to fix it until morning. We went from being stranded with 2 young children and a puppy to having peace of mind. It was a 500 fix that they lowered to 400 and had my truck fixed up the next morning. Highly professional, very friendly people. Even gave us excellent sight seeing advice which we took and had a blast. I would highly recommend Butler Auto. Thank you again for your help.

The best no nonsense car buying experience ive came across.the boys were courteous informed and straight shooters.i wasnt pushed or haggled.more importantly i wasnt judged and dismissed considering i was in work cloths and had disheveled hair.all in all a great place to buy a car

Really Great Experience
Just purchased a Jayco travel trailer and couldn't be more pleased. From our lovely salesman Sappy to the business manager Karn (sp?) to the service Tech that acquainted us with the trailer, all were super professional

Sappy and all the staff at Butler Auto are good people to deal with. I'm not from Kamloops so it was quite a drive to get there but I'm glad I made the trip, it was well worth it. I selected the rv I wanted, Sappy drove me to a branch of my bank, I payed for it, and insured it in well under 2 hours. I highly recommend this business.

We were wanting to purchase a specific travel trailer and although our local dealer had a unit, there was a pending sale on it. We still asked to see it but were discouraged unless we committed to purchasing a similar unit arriving in mid October. I object to pressure sales and resorted to searching on-line, even as far away as Alberta.

On Saturday, I luckily visited Butler's web site and surprisingly they had two units on their lot. I submitted an enquiry and received Dave Godin's prompt reply. We set up a visit Monday afternoon and despite us being late, Dave courteously greeted us and showed us the many features of the unit we had selected. We really appreciated Dave's manner and quickly developed confidence in him and Butler's.

Within two hours of arriving, all the purchasing and financing paperwork was completed and we left as very satisfied customers and a recommendation for a Kamloops restaurant where we ate dinner.

The friendliness and professional manner in which we were treated, and observed in the treatment of their other customers, encouraged us to post this review on Butler Auto & RV Centre.

In the past I have purchased a car, and a large RV. I recently took my son to this establishment telling him Butler Sales was one of the best in Kamloops and that I have been nothing other than satisfied with my dealings at this place.
Then I took my son there to shop for a pickup.the dealership now owned by a different person named Len, who we continued to deal with on a pickup for my son. SADLY Butler Sales has changed a great deal! We were lied to and we were fooled by none other than this Len himself! He took every thing he could off the truck, replacing with broken items such as a Tail light cover! He offered my son a deal on tires because the tires were worn out, Len promised my son new all season radials with the deal, and upon pickup from the tire shop my son received winter tires and there was. $1600.00 price added to his finance charges! Also there were several hidden charges that Len himself felt was appropriate to add for his GREED! I I am a very very unhappy customer and please people be careful. I would so not recommend this place, it’s sad today that we actually think we can trust someone who sits across the desk from you telling one lie after another, I do believe in Karma and I hope I get to watch what happens at the end of the day to this man who lives to fill his greedy pockets!
