Myself and my family have been using Butterfly Cleaning Services occasionally over a long period of time. They are a very lovely and professional family-owned business. Not to mention how thorough, caring and diligent they are with their services. Both Rosy and Erika are wonderful ladies that work hard to do what it takes to execute the best cleaning service possible. Every cleaning job they have done for us has exceeded the quality of service in every sense of the word. Especially compared to other cleaning services we have tried in the past, I have had nothing but positive experiences. Always have been very pleased with the job and service each and every time. This is why we have used and will continue to use their services as it always meets and even exceeds our expectations. We always look forward to seeing them!

I used Butterfly Cleaning for 2 move-out cleanings and now that I am settled into a permanent home I have started using them for standard cleaning.

On move out cleanings both apartment managers were impressed and one stated that it was the best he had seen and he would recommend to other tenants.

For the standard cleaning they are friendly and efficient. I am comfortable having them in my home, they are adaptable to what I would like the to focus on in each visit, and they point out things that may need extra attention that I haven't noticed.

I like the ease of booking with Erika via text, she responds quickly and they show up reliably. Lovely people and great service.

I have just moved in to a space whose previous tenants hired butterfly cleaners to do their move out clean. I have never seen a worse cleaning job. The bathroom had dried urine all around toilet & on side of the bathtub, dirt & grime between all tiles, lots of hair & finger nails in sink drawers along with personal sanitary items left behind by previous tenants, about an inch of dust and scum beside the toilet in plain sight. Scum on all fixtures. Every inch of the oven had about 1 inch of black hardened grease, same with hood of oven. Kitchen cupboards left with thick layers of dust, grease, & grime. Dirt behind the fridge. Filthy baseboards. This resulted in 3 days worth of cleaning for myself and a few very kind friends to scrub the place down, we were able to get everything clean. I was able to do most cleaning with my dollar store tools and basic cleaning supplies. The cleaners left a checklist behind outlining what was cleaned and there is no way any of it was done. As a new tenant, cleaning services like these exist so the onus does not fall on me to clean someone else’s mess for free. I would very strongly advise against anybody using this company ever. You will do a much better job by yourself. If I could give 0 stars I would. It’s shameful the “work” or lack thereof that was done by this “company”.

We have been using Butterfly Cleaning Services for over 4 years and would highly recommend their services. Erika and Rosita are professional, extremely hard working, flexible and have great attention to detail when cleaning. They use their own equipment, work safely, and diligently. We used another service before Butterfly Cleaning, but they do a much better job. We wouldn't be using their services for over 4 years (and counting!) if we weren't happy with them!

My family has been using Butterfly Cleaning Services for more than 15 years. They come weekly and do an excellent job. Not only are they reliable, they are trustworthy. We have money and all sorts of valuables around and have never worried about any loss. The owners, Erika and her mother Rosa are lovely human beings and it has been a joy to get to know them and their lovely family all these years. I have been using cleaning services for 30 years and until Butterfly Cleaning has become our weekly service provider, I was never pleased with any service before. When I read some of the negative postings, it makes me wonder if they are in fact competitors instead of customers. I would be available to answer any specific questions about their service for anyone interested.

I STORNGLY SUGGEST YOU NOT TO USE THEIR SERVICE. THEY ARE SO RUDE AND ARROGANT. THEY ARE JUST CLEANERS NO MORE THAN ANYTHING BUT THEY ACT LIKE THEY ARE BETTER THAN EVERYONE OFC IM NOT HAPPY WITH THEIR 'CLEANING' TOO

Total no show cost me $475.
I booked a scheduled "move out clean" on December 12th for December 30th after they assured me they had staff available and working that day. I was told I had to pay $300+ cash upfront which I agreed to.
They were scheduled to arrive at 3 PM so I arrived at 2 PM and sat on the floor of my empty apartment waiting for them. For 4 hours! Noone was answering the phone or returning my voicemail.
I was unable to clean the place by myself due to an injury which is why I hired them in the first place. I was also unable to hire an alternate on such short notice (on New Years Eve.) I had to leave the place dirty and lost my damage deposit of $475.
Boy do I regret calling them!

For the past 5 years we have had the opportunity to use butterfly cleaning services. Rosa and Erika come to our place every two weeks and have yet to leave us unhappy with their service. They are kind, caring and professional.

If I could give no stars, I would.
Spoke to the owner/cleaner about a post-reno clean. Informed her we had movers coming at 12pm on the day we needed the cleaning. She told us she would be there 8am sharp, have 3-4 ladies cleaning and that it would take 4-5hours, but assured me it could get done.
On the day, she showed up an hour late and came with only 1, elderly lady. When I expressed my concerns that they're an hour late and my quote was for 3 - 4 women for 4 - 5hrs, she got very rude and defensive. She blamed traffic, yet I was here on time to meet them.

She was extremely off-putting in the limited time she stayed, telling me to stop talking and listen to her. The difference between a good business owner and her? She did not care about or consider our situation as customers, who have enough stress with a reno that ran late, a mover deadline and other things that needed to be done when wrapping up a renovation. She thought that because she texted twice - once to say they'd be 10mins late, then when she didn't show up 10mins late, she texted she'll be 30mins late - that this was acceptable, not considering I didn't have time to be texting as I'm dealing with getting the place ready for a move in. After showing up over an hour late with attitude telling me to listen to her, I said we are close to asking them to leave as we hired them to get a job done and this is further wasting our limited time. She told me that we haven't hired them because we haven't paid her yet so she's doing us a FAVOR! I asked how us hiring them is a favor and she said "we're leaving! "
I told her she's extremely unprofessional to show up an hour late to a job, be defensive and rude towards her customer and now pack up and leave us without a cleaner.

As promised to her, I'm leaving this review of their poor customer service. Horrible way to run a business and now seeing these other poor reviews, I wish I had checked them first and saved us the trouble. I now see why she asks for cash upfront.

I hired Butterfly Cleaning Services to deep clean my apartment based on their package they advertised as their specialty in cleaning apartments when you move out. The day they came to clean, I met with them and we looked at the apartment together and we agreed that Shampooing the carpets would not be included but everything else would be. Erika asked me to settle up the bill in advance with cash. She said it would be $288.00 inclusive of taxes. I felt a little funny paying in advance but I agreed to it. In fact I even gave her $320 (a small gratuity) to ensure the job was done well so I would not have to stress about it. Erika, the owner, sent me pictures of the job they did and the pictures looked pretty good but she did not send wide shots of things just close up pictures.

However, when I showed up to do the final inspection with the building manager, the condition they left the apartment in was completely unacceptable. They didn't even complete half of the work they said they would and the place was still really dirty. They didn't even vacuum, clean the blinds, baseboards, doors and bathroom properly. I was in shock at how bad of a job they did. I have no way of knowing how long they were actually there, but they have led me to believe the two of them were cleaning for 4 hours +. I work in the hotel industry and I work closely with out housekeeping department and so I have a very good idea of what can accomplished in 4 hours with 2 hard working people. When I reached out to Erika to let her know that I as well as the building manager was not satisfied with the job, she became very defensive and claimed that she stands behind her work and that this was unreasonable of my building manager to expect better than this. Erika offered to come back and maybe touch a few things up. But this was not an option because I was literally handing over my keys and the painter was coming in right behind me. The building manager deducted $230 off of my damage deposit ($130 for carpets and $100 for cleaning). I was prepared to except the $130 for carpets but I was quite disappointed to have already paid $320 to have the place spotless except for the carpets and I think my building manager actually took it easy on me by only deducting $100 for cleaning when in fact she likely could have deducted more considering the condition Butterfly Cleaning had left it in. I explained this to Erika, the owner, and she is considering this a dead issue since I could not take her up on the offer to return and do "touch ups". She has also not provided me a receipt which I had previously requested and this business has taken advantage of me and many others I am certain.
