Food was comforting, filling and delicious. Owner was charming, friendly and welcoming. Atmosphere was quirky and casual with a healthy dose of dad-type humor. The peak moment was eating a Jewish-style deli sandwich, on a small rural island, while the owner sang along to Sinead O'Connor (a Catholic who converted to Islam). Just wonderful.

Fantastic Jewish deli style eats. Very friendly ownership and staff. Go for the hungry Jew. You won't be disappointed.

It was my first time to eat a meat sandwich! And the taste was decent! The owner was so welcoming and friendly. I will definitely visit again when I go to Saltspring Island. Highly recommend!:)

Got a Smoked Beef and Coleslaw Sandwich on Marble Rye to go and it was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS SPOT!

Amazing place in salt spring for lunch. We shared the Hungry Jew sandwhich. It was amazing. The meat was incredibly moist and juicy and the rye bread was fresh!

Amazing sandwiches! A small shop that serves some great food with real character. Buzzy is a genuine person and really takes pride in serving good food. The shop has limited space but the patio outside is nice and there are touches of humor every where you look. We went twice it was so good!

I recommend the "golden poutine" and really.everything about this place is just the bomb!

Authentic Jewish deli in the heart of Ganges. This is a must visit for anyone wanting some delicious Jewish inspired cuisine. The Montreal smoked meat is made in house, and the taste will blow your mind! Latkas, rye bread, horseradish mayo, and kosher pickles make for superb eating! Fun decor too. Definitely worth a stop. Come hungry.

I dont know how I did it but I was able to eat my Ruban slow enough to savor the exquisite smoked meat. The urge to eat is fast is strong but you can do it! Better yet... Order two!
