B&W Insurance Brokers

For 30 years I was with this company and claim free, paid my bill each year and the insurance company they sent me with never paid out one cent during this time. During covid unfortunately we had three claims, one for a bike that was stolen which they said they would have covered but their deductible (1,000) was more than the cost of the bike (nine hundred). Two for a stolen laptop during shipping that they did not cover, and three for water ingress damage to my condominium upgrades and flooring which they blamed the strata for and would not pay. Despite me increasing my insurance and them doubling the cost of insurance during the same covid period. I specifically asked my broker to make sure I was covered for water damage, and it did not matter. The bottom line is I was never paid one cent from any of the three claims. When I told them I was going to complain and write this review they and the insurance company Wawanesa blacklisted me. The industry colludes and works together and one company who writes a dreadful thing about you, they all find out. Now I cannot even get insurance on my place. Thanks, B&W and Wawanesa how can anyone want to work for such a horrible company, how do you sleep at night? You go out your way to have power over and do damage to an unhappy client by getting them blacklisted. I know if my businesses had that power over our clients, I am quite sure the government would step in and shut me down. When is there going to be accountability for such allowed practices in Canada and such a horrible company?

Poorly trained, unknowledgable staff, Cory butted in on a transaction he wasn't involved with and was so far out of his depth, 3 agents, none saying the same as the other, complete waste of time, forcing me to pay for insurance 'I' no longer need. Sussex here we come

To start with it's a very convenient location but secondly and most importantly, the staff are great, pleasant and quick.

Very friendly, helpful and professional staff. My number plate was ripped off after 16 years. The staff was very courteous, issued me a new number plate with amended insurance paperwork free of charge. Thank you for your service and I will surely come here again for my car insurance needs.

Absolutely terrible customer service! Not only are the staff at B&W insurance incompetent, they are dishonest too.

My plate was stolen, they were so helpful! By the time I had the case number, the young woman had all the ducks in a row I was in and out within 15-20 min, very helpful staff, very Customer orientated

Staff is friendly, cooperative and polite. They assist you in getting things done smoothly and also help with any information. (I know it's their job ;-) ). They are open on Sundays too till 4pm. I went at 3.30pm and they did not show any hesitation as it was last minute rush.

This agency is very unprofessional and will put works in your mouth that u did not say about the info you provide them. Rubina so called broker makes up stories and will not respond once asked to Clarify. Won't send ur paid policy info to you either. Definitely go somewhere else so u are safe.

I’ve been coming here for years, everyone is really friendly, the service is fast and they’re very thorough walking you through the details of your insurance. I have my home and car insurance done here, I always receive a reminder for renewals from Julia, she’s the best! I highly recommend this location, I don’t really live close by but it’s worth the trip.

Went in today Saturday May 22, to transfer ownership and insurance from my car to my son. The guy that helped us was great! He filled out all the paperwork for us, answered all our questions without us needing to ask any. All I can say is top notch service, not found at many places anymore.

Horrible experience. I purchased a car from out of province and called this location as I was referred by an existing client. I spoke with a gentleman named Cory and was told to come in the next morning as it was near closing time. I arrived a few mins after they opened and had
to wait 20+ minutes as he was not in as promised. Luckily one of the lovely ladies was kind enough to help me out as I was getting frustrated and running late for work. I would rate 0 stars if I could.

Very knowledgeable about car insurance. Following covid protocols. 2 people only allowed in. Next ro Daisees bakery. Drop by for a purple yam cupcake. Delicious. Not sweet

I have been going to this location for years, tried other insurance places in area and no one equals the staff at the Fleetwood location. Doesn't matter when I go, any staff I have met is always helpful and pleasant and makes sure I understand the options I chose for my coverage and always check if I am aware of new ICBC rules. I have been a loyal customer, and continue to refer my friends to this location when I hear other bad experiences. So far, feedback from my friends have been the same.

Very knowledgeable and friendly staff that saved me money and explained how the extra driver on my insurance works. Also pet friendly environment.

Was really nervous about renewing my insurance during the COVID crisis. Being that everything was changing with the way ICBC calculates rates, I was concerned about it being difficult to do over the phone. Both times I called, they were super kind, professional and knowledgable and made me so much less anxious about the whole process. Their drive thru window was super helpful to pickup my stickers and paperwork. Thank you essential workers!

Great experience with Heather. My husband and I were dreading going in to renew my car insurance due to the crazy icbc prices. We had called in earlier to discuss rates. Walking in, Heather had everything prepped and managed to work out the best prices for us. We are very pleased with her professionalism. She seems like she really cares about what she does. Awesome insurance place, sold my bike and needed a transfer. 2 people came to the counter and filled out the forms for us, we were in and out in 20 min.

The quickest, friendliest service at an insurance broker I've ever been to. Walked in at around 9 and was helped by one of the lovely ladies in the office. Walked out about 15 minutes later with my renewal and decal.

For years I've been dealing with insurance brokers who were not knowledgeable in insurance policies and as a result I've been overpaying ever since I owned a car.

The brokers here helped me by calling to ICBC and immediately adjusted my insurance. Now I'm paying $1k less than what I was originally quoted and I'm so thankful for it.

Never too busy, always helpful. These guys are here to help you out, especially good at navigating ICBC related things. They will get you in and out as fast as possible, while leaving no question unanswered

Came in with my fiance to get my insurance changed to business insurance (I use my vehicle for work). Transaction went well with Heather until I discovered I was not given a license plate decal to identify the expiry date of my insurance. Which meant I couldn't use it for work the next day. (l did not misplace it. I was not instructed to place it on the license plate at all). Came back to this place the day after and was only faced with very poor costumer service and no sense of helping out their costumer with a problem they created. The lady with brown hair (Tasha?) did not offer any help, did not empathize with the situation, did not offer a solution or compensation for the problem they caused. Kept insisting the decal was issued and she can't do anything for me, meanwhile I was left with no decal, additional fee to obtain a new decal and hassle to try to obtain a new one. However, I was able to obtain a new decal at the end of the day right before they closed. Incredibly poor costumer service. I do not reccommend going to this place.

Get my works fleet done here and they are great! Done personal insurance as well and always a great experience
