Cactus Club Cafe Broadway + Ash

Always amazed at how great the food and service are at Cactus Clubs. The Broadway and Ash location is no different. Friendly hostesses right when you walk through their doors.

Waiter Sammy B.was very attentive and checked up on us constantly. Food again was amazing as always. Keep us the great work.

Well a lot of the new dishes are nice but have no taste really as for the chicken wings salt and pepper lucky if you find any salt or pepper on them and their ravioli needs a sauce not bad but I've had better

I used to go here at least once a month, but it makes me so angry they ask for peoples phone numbers on arrival to just add them to a marketing database. I think about it all the time lol. I even emailed their head office about it and they confirmed that is what the phone number asking is for. They don't even warn their customers what it is for when you enter.

Then they love to announce you only have 2 hours to dine? Like you are going to kick out my party if we are still spending money? This isn't covid times. Now I hit Earls on Broadway.

We had excellent service here! We had the Nashville hot chicken appetizer with chargrilled steak and baja fish tacos as our mains. AMAZING. Best steak we’ve ever had, cooked to perfection and the fish tacos were flavourful. The hot chicken was delicious as well, the pickles were not our favourite but overall still good! Frozen peach Bellini was awesome! I can’t say enough good things. Would definitely eat here again.

I was in Vancouver and decided to eat at this location on W Broadway. A nice and welcoming Cactus Club, friendly staff, well serviced foods and drinks.
Washrooms are located on the lower floor, very clean and well maintained.

I would like to recognize Steven and Courtenay at the Broadway & Ash Cactus Club for their wonderful customer service and organizational abilities involving an event I had organized. This involved dozens dinner orders for pick up within a 30-minute time frame. Courtenay had assisted in organizing the dinners with the kitchen and Steven was present that night to ensure the orders were ready when my customers arrived for pick up. This was a complex program but Steven and Courtenay ensured the program was a success. Further, everyone enjoyed their dinners. Never seem to disappoint and we aren't really chain restaurants types but Cactus has become a go to place as food is really good and service is very consistent

Always love their tuna poke bowl! I order an extra side of tuna to make sure it's more macro balanced. And I love that you can reserve the patio there!

I have been to Cactus Club many times in the past, and I have to say this location is the best! The food is delicious and the service is always prompt. My sister and I came to this location on Sunday and enjoyed frosés and the prawn ravioli duo for happy hour! Shilo S gave us an excellent experience:) Thank you Shilo and Cactus! See you again soon!

This location has a test kitchen which adds some cool things on the menu. The tuna poke and the crunchy tofu bowls are great.

I am a regular customer for Cactus since 2013, what I love about this place is the friendly staff, delicious and consistency of good quality food.

My favorite restaurant in Vancouver

We stopped here after a long day of travelling to Vancouver and we were thoroughly impressed! The food and cocktail selections were exquisite and the atmosphere was beautiful. The steak and mushrooms were absolutely delicious. If I'm ever back in Vancouver, I will definitely be back!

Food and service were good. Price has changed a lot since the last time I came (even happy hour). The truffle fries are delicious here!

Been here a few times for both lunch and dinner. Decent food in a good atmosphere and with good service. Great as a standard go-to place for your typical burger, pasta, or steak but doesn’t really stand out from the rest of the other chain restaurants. A lot of other better and more adventurous food options in the neighbourhood in my opinion.

Great food, great friendly staff. Ravioli with shrimp and butter was the bomb and during happy hour the prices are low enough you can go wrong. Overall a wonderful experience. Highly recommended.

Great meal. Steak was done perfect. Jessica gave us the best service. Never waited for anything and very on the ball. Definitely recommend.

Jack of all cuisines master of none. The menu has everything from Sushi to Italian. That may sound great but why on earth would you go to Cactus Club for these cuisines? Our table tried a variety of items and everything was good, not great and very overpriced for what it was. Do yourself a favor and skip this chain, it is clear that they cater to tourists are all about pushing drinks and quick table turnarounds. Food 3/5, Drinks 2/5, Atmosphere 3/5, Service 2/5, Value 1/5

Whenever I'm in Vancouver I go to Cactus Club Cafe. The service is very good and the servers are helpful and friendly. I've tried many dishes and sandwiches, they were all tasty and delicious. I like it when you can't decide what to order because everything looks good.
I would definitely go here when in Vancouver British Columbia

Was good food and service. They could turn the music down a bit, could hardly hear the other people sitting next to me.

I really like chatting at the bar well eating a few hot wings I'm always showing people pictures of my baby girl. But it's my dog which sets up for a good laugh. The food's great the atmospheres friendly the staff our dynamic and the bathrooms are funky

A bit noisy but that is typical for Cactus Club. Service was excellent even if the server we had was training. Food was well prepared and tasty. In my opinion, CC is one of the better chains.

Had a fantastic lunch experience! Not only was the food yummy, I wanted thank our server Gage Marsh for his great smile and engaging humor! It made for a great place to take my friend for her birthday lunch:) I will be sure to ask to sit in your section in future!

If you are thinking of going here, Do yourself a favor and go across the street to Rouge. The staff is much friendlier, the service is so much better.

Last week I enjoyed a very lovely dinner with my husband at the Ash location. Veronica was our server and she was superb and very friendly. The food was also excellent, I love the Feenie Burger!

I come in generally for take out and this time stayed with a coworker for lunch. I devour the chilli chicken so theres no picture, but i recommend the staff and location!

Food presentation is amazing and it tastes even better! Very friendly staff and they always make sure you don’t need anything else. Love customer service.

Went here for a birthday lunch with coworkers. When we called asking if they do anything for birthdays, they said they'd "make a note of it", when a clear "no" would've been more honest. Not sure what "making a note of it" meant as it was never brought up during our lunch at all. Service at the location was also not the best - our server didn't interact with us at all until the bill came, although the place was half empty. The food itself was good, as can be expected from cactus club, which is why I didn't rate my experience lower than this. I've had some great experiences at other cactus clubs, so this was pretty disappointing.

Cactus Club has a big happy hour menu and it's a fairly good deal. Most of the dishes we tried were tasty. Service was also quite good. Only problem was someone put a branch in my drink. Just kidding of course.

Excellent service but wow their food (at least during happy hour) is SO much worse than any other Cactus Club i’ve been to: - (

specifically, the Tuna Poke (which I’ve had at three different Cactus Clubs) was *smothered* in sauce and provided an imbalanced ratio between salad, tuna, and rice (too much salad not enough tuna and rice).

also, i understand that due to rent, their menu is slightly more expensive than the nearby Granville location (ex.a bellini is $6 instead of $5), but since the food is better at Granville.might as well pay that location a visit instead

I recently had an amazing experience at this location! After an experience on a busy night that I was not totally satisfied with, I was promptly contacted by the manager, Orchid, who was professional and an excellent customer service provider. I returned to the restaurant and had some of the best food and service, provided by Veronica, I have had in a long time. Veronica was was very attentive and both her and Orchid made us feel like valued guests for the length of our visit.

I am so grateful for their hospitality and have definitely found a new favourite Happy Hour! I highly recommend!

Service was good and the drinks were okay. Sat outside in the solarium and the plastic windows were filthy.

Jessica was a fantastic server! It was half price wine night and she persuaded us to try wines from the cellar menu that were unbelievable! We will be sure to be back and hope that we have the pleasure of her service again. She should be commended for her great service!

Took out of town relatives, from Edmonton and Peace River for lunch. They had never been to a Cactus Club. Food was plentiful and delicious. Not one of them could finish their food.
All four remarked how good the food was as well.
All thought the food was a bit pricey.

Great as always. Food is fabulous! Found out they offer vegan and vegetarian options on the menu now! Super awesome! They have made lettuce wraps available with tofu now! Which are vegan as long as you ask. Many options to actually choose from! You aren’t just stuck with a salad now (although the quinoa salad here is to die for!). Forgot to take pictures of the food but I got one of the menu.

Went there at about 6 PM on a Saturday and patiently waited for a table. They seated people that came in after us a few minutes before taking us to a very small booth. I am 6’1 and my friend is 6’4 and we nicely asked to be seated at a regular sized booth. The hostess said that the other ones were “reserved” even though there were no signs on the tables and the group after us were seated at a full sized booth. She then tried to discourage us from moving by telling us it would be another 20 mins to wait for a regular sized booth. Had to go across the street to Rogue where we were treated with respect and given a full sized table. Avoid this Cactus Club, it was obvious that the tables were not reserved because yet another group came in after us and they were told their table would be ready in a few minutes. Two groups came in after us without reservations and got seated at regular sized booths. Ridiculous.
Update: I have been contacted by management and will provide an update after a future visit.
Latest update: I would like to disclose that I was given two gift cards as a result of the previous initial visit and subsequent visit in which we were invited back by a manager.
The second visit was made as a result of being invited by one of the managers of the Ash location. The visit was better than the first but the service was slow, there was an error on one if our orders, and after being told we would be taken care of with a credit, they simply took off chicken wings leaving us with a bill north of $50 for two burgers, a soda and a coffee. Complained again after feeling misled and was sent another gift card due to the miscommunication. Was told that 1.5 to 2 hours was “reasonable” for dining that included no alcohol, some chicken wings and two burgers. Parking is expensive in the area so I would caution that you should consider that before going here. Went to a different location since and wrapped up our meal under an hour and they had to remake one of of meals so we were left confused by the 1.5 to 2 hour standard dining time explanation. Overall they did make efforts to have us return by offering gift cards so I have raised the review to 3 stars.
